Please indulge my curiosity. Even if you don't have an answer for EVERYTHING, fill out the parts of the poll you DO have an opinion on. And send your friends over to voice their opinions. Thanks!

I blog therefore
If we've grown apart, if you find yourself skimming over my entries, if you can't think of anything we have in common any more, but you didn't want to unfriend me because you didn't want the drama - please don't be afraid any more. You're welcome to go, today or tomorrow or next month, and I won't hold it against you. I won't even mention your name in my journal. Okay? Okay. Life is too short to make a scene.

TGI Drama-Free-Friday

Every week, my super-cool-suave-silly friend [info]popfiend hosts Drama Free Thursday, and idea I've thought of stealing from him more than once. Since scheduling difficulties prevented [info]popfiend from making a DFT post this week, I volunteered to have a drama-free day on my LJ. It's nice to have a weekly reminder to keep the drama llama in the pen. We all bump into bullsh*t on the 'net, and if you're like me, the pettiness can really pull ya down. Today, let's decide to stay afloat. Though it's sometimes appropriate to take a stand, it's often just as appropriate to let it go and walk away.

Earlier today, I went downstairs for a smoke and found Brad and Jan, two of my favorite smoking buddies, already out on the back deck.

"My life is so good!" I said. "I get to hang out with my frinds for a few minutes."

Brad replied, "It's kind of sad that you get so excited about smoking with us."

"No," I said. "I think it's a good thing. If spending time with people I like is enough to brighten my day, I'm lucky."

So tell me, what small things can make a bad day turn around for you? What are your little reminders from the universe that hey, life can be pretty darn good?

And while you're at it, think about how you can brighten someone else's day today. Spread the love. Keep the peace :-)
