Had a good weekend overall. Friday I did nothing except go get dinner so I'll just skip over that.
Saturday was the Gothic & Lolita Bible V.3 release party in SF. I was excited they had a G&L event here in SF since I think they're headquartered down in So-cal. It was fun overall. They had a cookie decorating contest which I won first place in (score!) I won a btssb headpiece which I would take a picture of if Nando didn't still have my camera. There was a fashion show and mingling and I even met a few girls who I went to Mels with. That was a lot of fun and they were all really nice :) I should try going to a meet-up sometime since I don't have any friends that are really into the hobby and I would like to so I would have people to dress up with! ;)
Today we went to the Ren Faire in SF and got to see jousting! I wish I had a ren faire costume but they're expensive and I'm not motivated to sew one. It was fun and they had good food/shows.
I need to figure out a night to see Joline since she leaves for Israel in a few days. I wish I could go live in a foreign country for a bit. Been thinking about it lately. |

Ok so I was thinking "I don't need to save much money for Comic Con, it's not like I'm going to want to buy ANYTHING" And then I was looking at the exclusive merchandise and I come across:
Whaa its so cool!! I wantttttt it! Why do I always want such ridiculous things? But hey, it does have some purpose in that it actually is a toaster ;)
It's going to be so difficult to save any money this month... |

So I'm going to San Diego Comic Con! This will be my first time going so I hope it will be fun. I've already been told it will be super crowded and large. Anyone else planning to go?
While we're down there I hope to be able to visit the San Diego Zoo as well. Pandas!! |

I was gonna post about this sooner but I fell asleep from 8pm - 11pm. Saddness, now my whole Friday night is gone. Anywho, The North Face is having a sample sale open to the public so prices will be around 70% - 90% off. I know a few people have asked me in the past to mention if there are any public sample sales. It starts tomorrow at 9am (I'll be there at 8:30am) and I think it goes until at least Wednesday. So Saturday is my Graduation ceremony up in Davis. Kind of weird considering I'll have been working 7 weeks since then. I feel like I might be getting a cold so I'm gonna go to sleep and hope it goes away! Will write more when I'm not so tired.. |

Well through a strange twist of good luck I may be able to go to Anime Expo. I wasn't going to go cause I really couldn't afford the hotel room or plane ticket but it looks like Andrew is willing to drive down and Karina is letting us stay at her place which is only 20 minutes from the convention. I'd still have to miss a day of summer school..but when has that ever stopped being from doing anything? I'm still not positive I can afford but I'll try and figure something out :P

Well I'm done with my finals and I have now been in college for 4 years. I wish I could say I've graduated but I still have to take summer school. If my memories of the last two years of summer school are anything to compare to summer school is going to be awful. Hopefully there will be a fraking air conditioner in my classroom this time..!!!
Lynette left for her trip yesterday and I'm quite sad about it. She was like my best friend here and we had a really great time. I really lucked out getting her as a roommate this year. I'd love to go visit her in Australia (sooner rather then later) but it's one of the most expensive places you can go in terms of air fare. I'm going to try to start saving for it now but when I'll actually be able to go is still up in the air. |

Well I guess I should update. Thanks for everyone who came to my party! I think there ended up being 30+ people there. Thanks for all the lovely presents as well! Cooking Mama is a really addictive game. I played it for like 10 hours this weekend and managed to unlock every recipe. ^^; The only bad thing about the party is the hole that was made in our wall >_< I think I may know who did it but people are telling me different things so if you know could you please let me know?
Besides that the Cherry Blossom Parade is this weekend in SF so I think I'll be going to that. If anyone is interested in going let me know.
I've also been going to the gym a lot lately and I'm slowly getting better at Pilates/Yoga (but it's still pretty difficult). |

So I've been thinking of having a Birthday party up in Davis this year. The Saint Patricks Day party was fun for the most part and since my b-day is near the beginning of the quarter hopefully people wont be too bogged down. I haven't decided yet though, I might just deside to go out to dinner. Anyone have an opinion (as in particularly want a party?) It would probably be held on Friday, April 6th or the following weekend. I don't want in on April 7th since the next day is Easter and some people might now want to be hung over then.. although some might, who knows ^^; |

So I finished my last final. Lucked out to have them all so early and now I'm on Spring Break :D I'm going to the Bay Area tommorw and don't have many plans besides going to Monterey on Friday, but that should be fun anyhow. I want to do lots of clothing shopping but I'm brokeeee. Go figure.
I've been kind of bummed lately about it now being my last quarter and not knowing what the hell I'm going to do when I graduate. On one hand I miss the Bay Area, on the other hand I'll have to live with my mom and most of the people I knew there no longer live there anymore or I've lost touch with in the 4 years I've been here. The idea of getting a job is also scary. Some of the girls that are graduating in my major in June are already job searching, but there is no way I'm starting that until after I graduate. It makes me kind of sad most of the people I know in Davis will still be here next year. I wish some of them were moving back to the Bay Area as well, but what can you do?
My Finance class this quarter was a really good class though. I know all kinds of stuff that I'm fairly positive will make me much better with money in the future. It's hands down the most useful class I've ever taken. |

So small recap of recent stuff:
Went to Chinese New Years this weekend, before the parade I searched the booths trying to get free stuff. I also got some moon cakes.. yum! I wonder how many calories are in those things though, they're like bricks O_o We when watched the parade which took forever to start but was very good once it did. We also went to Japan town for a bit.
I knew Wondercon was last weekend as well but I really wasn't interested, everytime I've gone I've been very unimpressed. The anime/comic conventions I now go to are probably down to just one, which is Fanime. Speaking of which I need to figure out a room for that :/
Nando and I will be going to New York City in June for the NYC Dolpa 2 and general site seeing (I hope, fairly certain now but still need to get the plane tickets). I've actually been able to find plane tickets for under $300 which I think is a really good deal. Also been able to find a cheap hotel (thanks for the tip Victoria!) I really want to see Avenue Q while I'm there. I know there are many good musicals playing there but I've seen most of the classic ones while I was in London.
Looks like I'm going to be involved with producing another fashion show for Spring. It'll be a one unit class so if anyone is interested in taking it or auditing it let me know :) So far Hannah and I have been working on designing some outfits for it.
About graduating, looks like I'll probably be taking summer session 1 and graduating in August X_X Honestly it's only 6 more weeks so it's not too big of a deal. |

So I lost my purse today. That really sucked. I was in a big hurry to get to my midterm and probably either left it on the bus or left it in class or it got stolen. I think I most likely left it on the bus though. I hardly had any cash in it but it still sucks since I had to cancel my cards plus I lost some gift cards I hadn't used X_X And I have a huge headache from freaking out about it so much so meh |

So the Fashion Show ended up going pretty well all things considered. It made me realize though that I care a lot more about the process of event planning then the actual event. Yeah, it was fun, but if watching the show is really all I get for all the hard work then it's not really worth it. Producing the show was a lot of fun too though and I guess that's what I'll miss.
So the show was good except at the actual show I had ticket/door duty and OMG some people are so rude and full of themselves. They think they're so important that they should be able to cut the line or be let in without a ticket and when I tell them no they just start going off on me about how important they are. There was one girl who ignored me when I tried to stop her while she tried to cut through the line and get through the door without a ticket so I finally had to put my hand out infront of her to stop her and then she bitches about how she doesn't apperciate me touching her. Well I didn't apperciate her trespassing on the event without a ticket and ignoring me while I told her to stop. At least the security guard finally arrived and then things improved >_< But man are some people horrible >_ |

Yay! The release date for the next Harry Potter book has been announced :D July 21, 2007. Just another thing in the far off future I can start obsessing about now. The book is already Amazon.com's best seller..and will probably remain that way for the next 6 months O_o |

So I'm really upset cause my cat Midnight has been acting strange the last few days and we noticed the inside of his ear is all bloody so now I'm really worried about him :( We're about to go to the vet right now but I hope he's ok!!!
Edit: So he is now on anti-biotics since the Vet thinks it might be an infection. If that doesn't work it means it's something more serious but hopefully the anti-biotics will fix it. Poor Middy :( |

So tomorrow (the 20th) marks mine and Nando's one year anniversary :) Yay! It's surprising how quickly a year passes by but it's been really good and I'm happy I'm with him. We're going to go see The Nutcracker and then probably get dinner ^_^
I've also been back from studying abroad for over a year now. I miss London when I think back on it and it's definitely the most fun place I ever got to live in or visit. I think I'll have to go back someday when I stop being a poor student.
The break is going well so far except I've been having some vision problems (which really sucks) so I'm going to go to the optometrist in the next few days. |

Oh man, this was the best Black Friday ever. So many free gifts and really cheap stuff :D I now have most of my Xmas shopping done. But I've spent more then I'll get in all my paychecks for the rest of the year.. so it's time to sell crap on ebay.. sigh. |
