[I feel: accomplished... but only cos I've updated LJ!]
[I hear: Nora's watching TV...]
Good grief... I should update about prom, because it was incredible.
26 April... Went to get my hair done at Brenda's at 10.00. It was all curly and pinned up with a bunch of bobby pins, and she left my fringe down. She used a lot of hairspray, but it was nice hairspray that kept my hair soft and moveable, but still curly... Then she did Nora's. Her hair was roped and twisted back. It looked so awesome. At 13.00? I got my makeup done at Lauri's. She has a really pretty house, and Hannah and Jon are so cute. She did my makeup perfectly... I knew I wanted something soft and romantic, and pink. It wasn't really all that pink, but it was pink enough, and it was certainly soft and romantic. She gave me the Shinylicious lip gloss she used, and a thing of shimmery powder that I can apply with a blush brush. She put foundation and stuff on my face too, which was weird because I never do that. But I looked so good!
Mum went and picked up Kyle's boutonniere. When he came over, he brought my corsage, and a present! He got me a nice picture frame that says "2008" on it, and I'll put a photo of us in. Then he put my corsage on me! Alison put on his boutonniere though, because I wouldn't have known how. We got all ready and stuff... My bra was pinned in, the camera batteries were charged, I got my gel heel things in my shoes (they worked wonders, by the way!)... We went outside and got photos taken by the tree... Good times. Kyle had his sunglasses on for some of them because for some reason the sun was very bright for him. Christopher's mum got an amazing photo of Nora and Christopher turned toward the back fence, laughing because they saw some squirrels.
We left then for the university. We were late though! The group pictures only went on for about one more minute once we got there, and they had been going on for about ten already. After that everybody scattered and were getting photos taken on the steps, and up by the pointy things, and all over the place! I would've loved to take more photos of people, and get my photo taken with more people, but it was hard seeing as Mum had the camera the whole time. I got a lot of photos with the girls, and with the boys all together, but only like, one with Kristen and Michelle, and none of just me and Laura, or Logan... Mum got an absolutely gorgeous one of me and Jolene though. It is my desktop now! I love it so much. I'll get a big print and frame it.
** JOLENE AND I ARE DATING, BTW. ONE MONTH ON 13 MAY. **
People kind of disappeared gradually... We spent most of our time near the pointy things, above the rounded stairs. It was kind of windy, but it was warm! The weather couldn't have been better (well, minus the wind). It had been cold and really windy the previous days, and I think it had even snowed. But ZAM all of a sudden it was lovely on prom day. Hooray!
We had to go see Courtney at work and get a photo with her, then head over to Ric's for our reservation at 17.00. Kyle, Ashley, Chantelle and I went in Kristjan's car with him. Firstly we stopped at Town Pantry to get some cough drops for Ashley. There were a bunch of children there and they were all WHOA. Then Kyle was like, 'uh, Tatiana, you should hide. One of those kids could totally trip and spill his slushie all over you.' So I was scared and hid between Kyle and Kristjan. Then we left! And we saw Courtney. Christopher and Nora had been there for a while already because we hadn't told them we were stopping first. Courtney is like... four months pregnant now or something? You can see a small bump!
Ric's is like, right across from the Ramada. We got there 15 minutes before our reservation. We didn't get upstairs, like we thought, nor did we get 50% off our meals, or a tab. I was so confused! That's what Kristjan said we'd get! Good thing I brought money... Only $50 but it was enough for me. I ordered a southern ginger drink. It was SO DELICIOUS. Ohmigod, every time I had a drink of it I said "ah! this is so good!" I'm serious. Every time. I ordered a chicken oscar deluxe. It was good, once we got our food! We were the first people in there, honestly, and the last people to get our food. We had 30 minutes to eat! I liked it, but I think we all agreed that we could've gone somewhere better. I'm a little jealous of Jolene and all her friends, because they went to Cimo. Cimo is nuts. Anyway, Hailie, Aaron, Dane and his date were at Ric's, and so were Kasandra and Yannick. Yannick is gorgeousss! Also, during supper, I realised that I totally forgot my ticket! Like what, I didn't even remember I had it. I called Dakota but they were all at Boston Pizza, so they couldn't bring it to me. But Mum assured me that Victoria would let me in, and I had no doubt about that. Besides, now I get to actually keep the ticket as a memory! Cool.
We walked over to the Ramada then, and waited around to get in. Once we got through we picked a masquerade mask and got our photo taken at the photo area thing. I must say, Claudette did not do a very good job of taking photos! I'm a little cheesed about that, not gonna lie. We got in, chose a table, sort of. Kyle and I are special so put all our stuff with Jeff, the DJ. He's so awesome! And then! we were all pretty much the first people on the dancefloor. It was a lot bigger than Kyle had let me think it was. It was great! There was a super lightshow, and the music was wicked. It was just like normal dance music. I totally thought it would be more formal and waltzy. None of the dance lessons we took at lunchtime were put to use. Honestly, how are you supposed to swing dance in a ballgown, anyway? Speaking of gowns, most girls' looked the same. They were those silky big ones, with the nice strapless neck, and the folded and pinned skirt. Like what I wore for the fashion show (OH, THE FASHION SHOW! WHAT LOVE.). But they were all so amazing. Everybody looked wonderful. My dress was completely different. Short-ish, off-white, lacy! I love it! I looked great, haha. And my shoes got dyed to match my clutch, which matched my dress. But the cool thing was--and this wasn't even on purpose--that in some lights, the shoes would change colour to a purple, just like my earring gems, which matched Kyle's vest and tie, and our corsages. Or they'd change to an orange-pink, like my nails! (Yeah, Nora and I got our nails done... so nice!). We danced and danced...I slow danced with Kyle the most, obviously. Jolene and I had a greed to four dances together, as to not neglect our dates. But there really weren't that many slow songs. For one of them, "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing", Jolene danced with Kelsi. I went and grabbed Matt! I didn't even do that on purpose. But I love Matthew, and I wanted to dance with him really badly. I remember when we did at the grad dance last year! Yeah, so we noticed each other, and I saw Jolene say something to Kelsi, and we all kind of laughed. It was cute. I danced with Yannick twice. He's crazy! He grabbed me and pulled me in really close, and held me to him, and swayed around and did that thing where he bends his legs and i have to basically sit on them. And when he talked to me he'd pretty much kiss my face. It was awesome and a lot of fun, but kind of uncomfortable at the same time, because at one point Jolene was dancing right beside us. I actually asked him if dancing like that was all right with Kasandra. Yeah, so I danced with Jolene once. But we danced together during normal songs a few times too, like "I'm Too Sexy". She did that whole take-off-the-vest-and-throw-it-at-somebody thing, and then took off her tie and put it around my neck and pulled me in. Haha, cute. Kirby was funny too. Him, Tyson and Ryan all dressed the same. I only stopped dancing once to go pee, like twice to fix my shoes, and ac couple times to drink some water. I didn't sit down. I didn't take off my shoes at all! They hurt so much after. All my toes were numb. Nora was all upset, so left at 22.30, which was only half an hour before it was over. So Christopher had to leave too, and Devi, and everyone else left too, except for me and Kyle! Lame! Then Jolene offered me a ride home, but Dad had already left by the time I called. I had a great last dance with Kyle. He is so tall... My face just fit perfectly above his collarbone. I wanted to give him a kiss on the cheek, but I am lame and didn't. Also, I got absolutely NO pictures at the Ramada. Not even one. I sniped a few of Kyle's, because Jeff had taken his camera for a few minutes and taken some pictures, but none of me, haha. Oh well... Memories, I guess.
We dropped of Kate, then Kyle, and then I got undressed and ready for afterprom. We all decided to go to Kristjan's cabin out Chief Lake way instead of Shesta where the real afterprom was. Apparently it was a good idea, because most people said Shesta was pretty lame. Jolene decided to go to Shesta bcause all of her friends were going, even though at first she wanted to come out to the cabin. Then she told me that she really would've rather come with us. Ah well, Kristjan said he wouldn't've had a problem with it, so next time we go out there she can come. ...We ended up meeting at Costco late because I forgot my camera and my sleeping bag, so we had to go back to get them. Then we waited around a little big for Kyle, because he was trying to convince his parents to let him go. He couldn't though. Nora, Christopher and I went out with Christopher's dad in their new vehicle. We listened to Sirius and XM Radio, haha. We got out there at about 01.00. There was still quite a bit of snow out there, so we had to park at the end of the drive and walk a few minutes to the cabin. It was a pretty random-looking cabin; definitely not what I had imagined. Though what I imagined was pretty h-core. We brought all the stuff in, set up, started up. Basically we ate and played cards. I didn't have a lot to drink at all. Two coolers, a Caesar (madlove), a shot of tequila, and some rum and Mountain Dew. Yeah, that's right. Captain Morgan's spiced rum + Mountain Dew = delish. We made a fire outside in the fire trough and had hotdogs. I was the Wienermeister. It started to rain a little so we went back in and Chantelle made a fire in the fireplace and we had marshmallows. No... that was in the morning. Yeah. We ate. Played cards. Chantelle and Kristjan ended up in their underwear. I pwned. Twister attempt. Then sleep. We were so tired. I'm glad there were beds! We got up at around 09.00 because Laura and Logan had to leave. We ate more, played crazy eights for like two fucking hours, then cleaned up (and had to look for Logan's glasses). As we waited for Christopher's dad, we played on the dock, and watched Carr fetch the random huge inflatable ball that rolled across the lake, and played on the swingset, and explored the old cabin. Then we went home.. and slept more!
IN CONCLUSION. PROM = AMAZING. It was just like Christmas though. You wait forever, spend a whole lot of money, plan plan plan... then it happens. You go through the day, living in the moment... Sometimes so much, it seems--for me, anyway--that you can barely remember it after. It's one day, then it's over.
What a great time. Kyle was the best date. I honestly wouldn't have wanted to go with anyone else. Well, Jolene, obviously, because we're dating. But really, I love Kyle so much, and he had the best time. It was really good for him.
Siiiigh, now less than one month until graduation. I'm scared/excited. I need to do better in school, and apply for some fucking scolarships, because I seriously have no money. I need a job. A job would be good. Ohmigod.

Monday's a Bitch! - Yay, Dancing!
1. If you could become the world's best dancer in one particular style of dance which would you choose? Something nuts like salsa or hip-hop.
2. What is your favourite movie about dancing? I haven't really watched any? But uh, fack what was it called... Mrs Faulkner lent it to me. Oh, Strictly Ballroom! That was a wicked film.
3. Have you ever played Dance Dance Revolution? YES I HAVE AND IT PISSES ME OFF. I must get better at it so I don't kill things every time I play it. Gadd, it's just so confusing/frustrating!
4. What song makes you wanna dance every time you hear it? UMH LIKE EVERYTHING. Well not really, kinda. Stuff I associate with EXTREME DANCE PARTIES, and anything with a good beat. Vengaboys, anyone? Bahaha.
5. Do you watch any reality dance shows? Yeah, "America's Next Best Dance Crew" is fun.

OH YEAH I GOT A MOBILE PHONE ON 20 MARCH.
It's an LG Shine and I love it h-core. FINALLY HOMG.
And uhm, Jolene and I text a lot. And today was cool. She apologised for everything, and said that despite it all, she's really glad that we've become good friends. I am too. I love you! I think we're gonna go to Value Village on Friday to look for our fashion show stuff. ♥

I don't understand how LoudTwitter's supposed to post my Tweets to LJ...
I set up an account on Twitter and LT, but uh... whuuut?
It was supposed to post at 22.00. It's like, almost midnight.
I am too lazy to make real updates, so hopefully Twitter will sorta kinda suffice. But not really. A little, anyway. Better than nothin'.

I know I can't give up...
But I'm fucking tired of this.
I'm tired of being optimistic.
All I want to do is sit here and cry.
Why can't this work out?
You build me up, and then tear me down.
How many times is this going to happen?
You know how much you're hurting me.
But I hope I'd be lying if I said I felt worse than you.
Please, figure yourself out.
Please, come back for me.

[I hear: The radio upstairs...]
So yeah. There's no school today.
Apparently there was some sort of "combustion situation" in which a heater or something was too close to something else... probably something flammable? So there's smoke in the school, and they haven't cleared it, and so there's no school today.
Which is sort of sweet, but I actually wanted to go to school today. I was looking forward to dance class, and leadership especially, cos I'd get to see Jolene for more than two minutes and maybe even talk to her. I never look forward to leadership class. What kind of crap is this.
Um, in other news. Kyle made me call him again last night (Dakota was like, "why do you keep calling him? Ooooh...") because he needed to tell me that he changed the date for supper. Even though he told me at school. I suppose he likes telephone call confirmations. It's Sunday at 19.30 now, instead of Friday at 19.00. But I am so excited. Shogun is the shit, even though it's somewhat expensive. But it's Japanese. Weeeoo. Apparently Kyle invited Jana for Friday, and Emily was going to go too, since they were hanging out that night. Awkwaaaard, seeing as I suspect them both for being who Jolene still loves. And then Kyle was like, 'since I'm inviting Jana, I guess that means Linden will come, too.' Ummmm, actually.... Jana broke up with Linden on Monday at lunch. Sad! But Jolene told me she was going to... Hm. And, yeah. No one else is cool enough to hang out with us. Ha ha.
And comparative civ is damn aceee. Laura, Chantelle and I are going to fucking ROCK the decades project. 90s, anyone? Hell yeah. We're gonna JUMP ON IT and get Kyle to come and do MC Hammer for us, cos he actually HAS MC HAMMER PANTS. And Kristjan's gonna come, and Nora, and we're gonna party it up, bitchess. Plus: Spice Girls, Sailor Moon, Power Rangers... POGS?! Aaaand, we can dress up. Cool much? Can't wait 'til Thursday! Dance practice at Chante's.

Monday's a Bitch! - Happy Christmas!
1. How much money did gift giving cost you this season? About $15.
2. Was getting ready for the holidays more fun, or more stressful this year? Not really either, for me.
3. Were there any gifts that you were particularly proud to have put together this year? Which was your favourite? Once I make Laura's gift, I will be proud.
4. What's your favourite holiday food? Stuffing!
5. If you were to be magically morphed into Santa's tenth reindeer, what would you want your reindeer name to be? Would you have any notable or quirky reindeer characteristics? Glitter! I'd be a very cheerful, fun and rather glitzy reindeer.

[I hear: "I Ran" - A Flock of Seagulls]
Last night/this morning was sweet. Went to the mall with Chante, Kristjan, Natsu, Nora and Sho (all in Chantelle's car haha!) and met Trista there eventually... Tried on dresses at Bryan's (they've got some sweet stuff)... Got chased by Randi in a huge bear suit, and ran away from clowns. It was PJ day so we wore PJs, but the guys didn't. Kristjan kept mentioning how everyone would see his junk if he wore his, haha! We went to Kristjan's for a while and played Guitar Hero II. I've always wanted to play it. I tried once, and it was so incredibly frustrating that I don't feel like playing again. Kristjan's house is pretty sweet though. Except we had to be careful around the couches/computer chair/everything else, haha. He benched 100lbs 20 times. I couldn't even lift it up. I like Kristjan. Sho doesn't like dogs.
We got to Bubba Baloos a little after 23.00. We went to Chantelle's first to pick up Landon, and to get their mum to drive us down (she had the first chaperone shift). We talked about The Golden Compass. Landon has read it. I was very giggly and excited. Kyle had his DJ stuff set up, and the mixing laptop, and a projector. My bra broke. I was lucky I brought by second one. We started to dance and it was sweet. Jana loves "Grace Kelly". There were 6 pizzas, 3 buckets of candy, 2 giant chocolate bars, a box of oranges, and a whole cooler of pop and water. We barely ate anything though. We played laser tag twice. We moshed in the bouncy ball pit at the top of the play area. Kyle, Kristjan and Sho ran outside to light fireworks in the parking lot. It was 1.30 and -30. We ate ice cream cake that Kyle decorated with oppai, manko, chinchin, chitsu, and koko o sawatte, and a whole packet of sparklers. We danced more. Well, I danced more. With Kristjan and sometimes Kyle and Natsu and Chante. Other people were sleeping. We had an orgy in the ball pit. Noah and Nicole are dating. We karaoked to "Don't Stop Believin'", "Wannabe", "DAVID'S MOM", and "Bohemian Rhapsody". Some of the guys played Guitar Hero Encore. I did not want to fall asleep watching Russell Peters so played asshole and Egyptian war with Chantelle, Kristjan and Landon. I am beautiful. I like Landon. He has a really nice smile. I ate some pizza. I watched Kyle climb into the arcade games and get hundreds of tickets. Then he put them through the machine and got 800 points, by also using the shredded tickets. I think the staff were probably sleeping in their little room. Kristjan got Chantelle a bear thing. I didn't see Nora very much. Sho gets very excited whilst watching Japanese dramas. For about the last hour it was very cold. Kyle's mum dyed her hair and got it cut, and it looks very good. Chantelle's mum came and we were the first to leave. I fell asleep on Kristjan on the way home. Dakota was just getting up to do papers, so I had to do it too. I didn't get to bed until 7.20. I was exhausted. I'm not sure of how often, if I have ever, stayed up for over 24 hours.
I got up at 15.30 and was mostly dead for the day. Around this time though I perk up slightly.
I need another last Friday.

1. Would you ever put your hair in dreadlocks? I've thought about it. It would be totally cool, but I'm not sure if I could handle it. Plus, I'd have to grow my hair out long first, and I like it short.
2. Got any sun-holidays planned for this winter? Hahaha. No. We don't go anywhere, especially not during the winter.
3. What's your favourite rum based drink? Rum and Coke rocks my socks. I also like daiquiris. But that's all I've had... Besides jello shots with rum (kind of awkward...). I'd love to try moosemilk, and a painkiller. And, well, everything else.
4. Do you like reggae music? Ya man.
5. What's your opinion on the legalisation of marijuana? Eeeeh, I don't know. That's a tough one, being from Prince George. Like, it's all right when you think about hippies and tree planters and my uncle smoking pot, but then there are all those wangstas and 50 Cent wannabes who think it's cool to smoke pot, and that just ruins it. Otherwise, even though it's a drug and gross, it would sort of be cool, somehow. Legalising it... would make it less glamorous for the gangstas and wannabe stoner kids, but I don't know what other pros or cons it could have...

1. If you had to go back in time and give advice to the first humans that walked the Earth, what would you tell them? Make sure you record everything somehow. Or else... nothing.
2. If you could have one part of your body massaged every day, which would you choose? My back. All of it.
3. Are there any smells that make you feel instantly nostalgic? If so, what are they? Yes. Gingerbread baking, meat pies, turkey supper, the sea, ship's wood, spruce and pine trees, the smell of Japan... I can't describe it.
4. If the choice for the legal age of consent in your country was up to you, which age would you deem appropriate? What it is now (18).
5. If you could have known one of your current friends as a child, who would you pick? Nora.

[F is for favourite song at the moment:] "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey will be my favourite song for ever. Besides that then, I'd say... well, actually, I haven't listened to a lot of music lately. Sad.
[G is for favourite game:] Cranium! Or truth or dare. I haven't played it for ages, but I think I'd like it!
[H is for hometown:] Prince George, mang.
[I is for instruments you play:] n/a
[J is for jam or jelly you like:] Pretty much any kind, I think. Especially homemade ones!
[K is for kids?] At some point, yes.

[M is for mum's name:] Janice.

[R is for relationship that lasted the longest]: n/a
[S is for sexual preference:] Heterosexual... but I'd have to agree with Björk and say that most everyone's at least a little bit bisexual, whether or not they realise it.
[T is for time you wake up:] 5.45 or 6.05, depending on if I have to deliver papers or not.
[U is for underwear:] Yes?
[V is for vegetable you love:] All of them! Oishii!
[W is for worst habit:] Procrastination.
[X is for x-rays you've had:] Just tooth ones, I think. I try to avoid x-ray machines.
[Y is for yummy food you make:] I don't get the chance to make food, because Mum practically lives in the kitchen. But I do make amazing shakes!
[Z is for zodiac sign:] My sun is Leo, but my ascending Sagittarius describes me more accurately.

[I feel: tired] [I hear: Runescape music from Dakota's computer (I can't believe he still plays that!)...]
I'm looking up the website of my Sexy Girl hair cologne. I found it, and I was reading the katakana and figured out that it was explaining Shiny Peach's notes! Top is: passionfruit, kiwi, cassis; middle: peach, green apple; bottom: mango, raspberry, musk. It's quite nice! I'm not really sure what it's supposed to do, besides make my hair smell good. The page that I open up to read about the actual product comes up in weird characters, which is stupid because I know I have Japanese enabled.
FITS also has some perfumes, and there's one called Night Voyage, from the Dramatic Parfums. This is what it says... it's so pretty:
Midnight DIVA glows under the light of midnight. Floating dress, dancing for the night. Music is like magic potion. Fragrance is like love magic. One dramatic night with the sweetest trap.
Oh, Japan. How I love thee and thy cuteness.
I watched Dakota play volleyball today. Districts were at PGSS. They won 3 of 6. They're out though. We left early cos they didn't need to play anymore. Cedars Christian's coach is... grr! Any time the opposing team is having a good serving streak, he'll repeatedly take time-outs and subs to try and throw him off his game. I guess that's why he kept trying to get three subs in the third sets when Trista, Nora and I were scorekeeping. You can only have two, jackass. And we had to cheer for them at one point (even though they were against Duchess, who cheered for us in the previous game) because we wouldn't continue if DPSS won that game. Cedars did win, but we lost the next one, so we were out... Lame! But Dakota's got basketball tomorrow. Last cuts. You better be right, Kyle! He told me that he's sure that Dakota won't get cut (Kyle obviously won't because his brother's coach...). I could go watch, but I have homework (well, scholarships, more importantly...).
Yeah, ew scholarships! I've already missed two awesome ones because the deadline was in October. This big one for $20 000 is due 14 December. I must get working on it! I was supposed to today, but I was at volleyball from 9.00 to 15.00. And when I got home I was so tired that I just fell asleep in the couch until supper at 19.00. Augh. But we watched Live Free or Die Hard at supper, which was extremely exciting.
Last night Nora, Natsumi, Kristen, Michelle and Devi came over. We walked up to Save-On after taking some fun photos and listening to SMAP, and bought food and Starbucks, and rented Borat. We met Laura and her friend Logan in the movie store. He knew my name. I've seen him before, at school before he graduated, but I never knew who he was. He seems really nice anyway!
I should really go to bed! At least I don't have to get up at 6.00 tomorrow...
It snowed today! The snow's been real slow coming this year. The first snow that actually stayed on the ground for a few days was 2 November. Usually it's before Halloween. We hadn't had any snow for a couple weeks before this, even though it's been cold and the previous snow stayed in a few places on peoples' lawns. I wonder how long this one will last for. There wasn't too much, unless it's still snowing.

[I feel: content] [I hear: "Sleep the Clock Around" - Belle & Sebastian]
The Friday Five - Food
1. What is one food (or meal) you used to hate but now love? Hmm. I don't think I liked sushi the very first time I had it. But now I LOVE it.
2. If you had to give up one of your favourite foods (or meals) for good, what would it be, and why? Probably some kind of meat or simple carbohydrate that I'd be better off without.
3. Which food seems like it should be healthy and isn't, and do you eat it? Why? I know what's healthy and what's not, and why, so this question doesn't really work.
4. If you were an item of food, personified, what would you be and why? I don't like these kinds of questions! Where I have to really think about myself, and see myself as something else based on my characteristics... I just can't. Not unless I think about it for a long time, and I am generally never in the mood to do so...
5. You've seen tomatoes and pies used for this purpose... now think of a more inventive item of food one could throw at someone. What is it and why would throwing it at someone be hilarious? Carrots? Cos they're pointy? Haha, I don't know.

[I feel: crazy! but not angry at all like Ron looks...]
[I hear: Nothing really...]
Ohmigosh!
I leave tomorrow morning! I have to be at the airport at 6.15am, and the flight for Vancouver leaves at 7.50 or something... We have three hours in Vancouver and we'll arrive in Narita about 10 hours later, I think.
It's almost here! I can't believe it!
If I can get on the computer long enough to do anything whilst I'm there, I certainly will.
I'll be in Japan for two weeks, starting tomorrow, if that bit hasn't been caught yet, haha.
Sayonara, loves! Be back on 3 October.

[I feel: sick] [I hear: Me singing "Days of Elijah"...]
Mum and I went out shopping today. We were a little successful. We got gifts for the Toguchi family (minus maple syrup and chocolate), shoes for my uniform and a pair of black trousers for my uniform, if I don't find a skirt. ...Which we didn't today. Why can't stores just sell plain, pleated, black, above-the-knee skirts ...that aren't only children's sizes? We also went out for lunch at Thanh Vu, and I got braised seafood and vegetables over crispy noodles, and some spring rolls. But I was still sort of hungry. Ever since coming back from SALTS, I feel hungry even after I eat a meal. And the meals I have here are somewhat bigger than the meals I'd get on SALTS. Plus, I sometimes have snacks here, and the only time I'd eat anything besides at breakfast, lunch or supper (and mug-up) on SALTS was if I got up early enough in the morning to have leftover cookies. And I was never hungry. Weird...
Also, I'm sick. And it's gross. My nose is stuffy, my throat is croaky, and I'm very tired. And blowing my nose so much makes my skin raw and sore. Auuugh, go away please! I have to go to Japan in three days!
But! Something happy happened today. There were clusters of UNBC students hanging outside of some places, like the Bay. The ones at the Bay were standing around, playing tubas, and holding up signs and handing out balloons. They were collecting donations for cystic fibrosis. But the sign! It was for free hugs! I was thrilled! I gave a couple of them hugs, and then told them I'd give them some change when I came back out (which I did). It was very awesome.
I've got homework... And I have to make a little scrapbook for Hazuki's family... And I should put my SALTS photos on a disc for Mrs Smith. I should also write in my SALTS journal before I really forget things. I'd forgotten many things even on Sunday as we were heading home. I haven't any notes, and there wasn't much time during this trip to have it all done. I'm only beginning Thursday, and it went until Sunday!
I need an orange.
