To those whom I probably abandoned last night (RedRage I know I was talking to, not that he has a LiveJournal, and probably Ckret, I didn't take the screensaver off to look if you'd come on or not)- our sheep were attacked by a dog yesterday. They were both injured in the neck, one badly, and one torn down the side. It was- oh, finding them was miserable. We are all screaming and crying the poor thing's name and the other one was still in the woods. And then we stood by them in the pasture while calling the person we got them from- who told us to bring them over, so we have to put the two poor, bleeding sheep in the back of our minivan and go, and when we get there they're HAVING A FRICKIN' PARTY. And there are all these vets there and they're laughing and drunk while suturing up our poor three-month-old lamb and to top it off, it'd been hot earlier so I was wearing nothing but a skimpy swimsuit top and cargo pants the whole time, being too upset over the sheep to throw a real shirt on first. I felt like a complete slut looking like that in front of all those people. Not that anyone was sober enough to notice.
So then afterwards, these people are drunkenly giving us advice and one lady said "It boils down to how much you want to pay for the animal" over. and over. Exact sentence repeated four, five times? And kept calling my mom Nicole. Her name is Natalie. I don't think she had any idea who I even was. Meanwhile, this other lady was cursing and carrying on about the U of M and another one was going "Oh, they're farm animals, they'll be fine."
Meanwhile my dad was calling our usual vet who wasn't drunk and he said to keep them clean and give them antibiotics and bring them in Monday. So right now they're in our garage where that filthy black dog can't get at them again (this is the same dog that killed a good number of our guinea hens), and we'e picking grass for them and I couldn't even sing in church like I do every Sunday because I'm a nervous wreck.

If I ever have the chance I'll wring that black dog's neck and I'll do it gladly. I will be posessed by SUPERHUMAN RAGE-STRENGTH, and I'll wring its neck.
