here is me. i like to have my picture taken. i dont like to look like i like it. i like to look away. or look at kathleen like i despise her.













i'm still busy being bad. i think i know how to get in this new trash can that steve and sissy bought.

the lady next door says that orange cat's name is smooch. and the greyandwhite one is called boo... what dumb names. they dont have people names like me. that is why dogs are better than cats. and smarter.

cats arent smart enough to like trash either.

06:27 pm: i have a new orange friend who likes to run with me. well, more like in front of me. as i chase it. i love cats! see how they run!

11:55 pm: Grrr
Lately no one understands my needs. I love trash. Is that so wrong? The tall ones keep putting it up higher, but just wait till they leave tomorrow morning! So this morning when I was outside this boy doggy was growling through the fence at me, like I was up in his business.. I justed wanted to be friends, but he didn't seem too neighborly. I've been keeping an eye out for the kitties hanging out lately, I'm letting them do their thing, acting like I don't seem them, but I'm just waiting for the right moment...! I'm so tired, I was they'd go to bed. My favorite spot is right where their legs go :)

i don't know why that tall guy andrew thinks i'm ever going to listen to him. he doesn't know how to share his food!

10:47 pm: garlic bread
um. kathleen caught me rummaging in the trash... well, i wasnt still in the trash, i was sneaking off with this great empty box that used to have garlic bread in it... she took it away from me. how could she?

steve went away.

lie in the sun on mommys bed

drink ice water that mommy leaves out for me

making gnome cities really helps me relax... its true

03:25 pm: pajama party
this weekend i think i get to go to miss ihave_themoon's house to spend the night so kathleen can visit steve in gainesville... i'm looking forward to it 'cause lilly and opal always come here but i never get to go to their house... i like to go visiting because it gives me a chance to show off my "good behaviour"... i reall do have some good behaviour... i just like to save it for special occasions like pajama parties... i think me might freeze miss emilys bras while she is sleeping... maybe... wait! thats not on the good behaviour list is it?

11:40 pm: walksies
i went on a walk tonight with lilly and opal.. i got a sandspur but other than that it was really good! we sniffed and sniffed...

10:42 pm: tonight mommy thought i was a wild animal hiding in her closet. it was really funny. i was just in there chewing on my toy and she totally thought i was a rat. i think i sounded more like a raccoon. thats uncool. a rat. i really scared her until kathleen came in and busted me. i'll have to try harder and practice my raccoon noises.

miss emily,
sister told me you were having some sorrow about pepper passing away... i just want you to know that we care about you more than we can say and that we understand how hard this is for you...

kathleen also mentioned your worry about lilly and opal not understanding when they visit... i can assure you that hunter will be able to explain it all... i'm a pup... i know these things... dont worry about that...

we love you very much and hope that if we can do anything we will... i'll even let you look at my birds... even scruffy...

i need to go before she catched me on the computer...

03:09 pm: confusion
the other day kathleen took my birds and me and put us in the car and took us to the house where her dad and other mom lives. there is another dog there that pees a LOT and is very nervous and never wants to run around together. that dogs name is belle. i dont know if i like her. then kathleens friend emily came over with more birds and 2 dogs. opal and her mommy lily. i REALLY like them. we played and slept and there was lots of wind and the big that kathleen calls daddy was funny and petted all of us a lot and there was a little baby there and she gave me lots of hugs. i really wanted to go home so kathleen took me home last night but now i miss my new friends. you know what really confuses kathleen? when her dad takes me out without a leash i dont run away. i dont know why i dont. i like him a lot. i just listen to him when he calls me. i dont listen to kathleen.

10:21 pm: why?why?why? everytime i bring in a juicy turtle and find a safe place for it in mom or kathleen's bed... they never appreciate it? why? i just want to have it... i wont eat it... i just like to have it... if i dont put in the bed i like to turn it upside down adn watch it flip over then i put it upside down again... i've only lost two in the house... and kathleen found those eventually... gee...

12:26 am: paint on my feet
today was great except for when kathleen sprayed me with the hose to get me out from under her car... i was wandering around teh neighborhood until mommy and kathleen noticed then they tied me to a weight... i really just wanted to be wherever kathleen was working so i could annoy her by getting paw prints on whatever she painting and had set aside to dry... i just sat in front of the fan in the front yard and thought how smart kathleen was to bring it out for me... mommy gave me some of her ice water... all in all it was a great day... i hope tomorrow is as good.

this week has been full of storms and momma and kathleen takign me in the front yard to plant grass and flowers...i like to stand right under the shovel when momma dumps the dirt on the ground, but i dont like having to get a bath becauseit gets me so dirty... it storms every day now...'leen likes it... i really dont... i made new friends this weekend... i am so tired!
