Good day,
After looking at the poll I put up, it is obvious that quite a few people have not even heard of the game. I will see what I can do about that.
The Dresden Files are written by Jim Butcher and have gained a lot of popularity over the last few years. Here is a small bit about Storm Front, which is the first book of the series.
Harry Dresden is the best at what he does. Well, technically, he's the only at what he does. So when the Chicago P.D. has a case that transcends mortal creativity or capability, they come to him for answers. For the "everyday" world is actually full of strange and magical things -- and most of them don't play well with humans. That's where Harry comes in. Takes a wizard to catch a -- well, whatever.
There's just one problem. Business, to put it mildly, stinks. So when the police bring him in to consult on a grisly double murder committed with black magic, Harry's seeing dollar signs. But where there's black magic, there's a black mage behind it. And now that mage knows Harry's name. And that's when things start to get... interesting.
Magic. It can get a guy killed.
The books deal with Harry Dresden and his fight against the supernatural in Chicago. There are dealings with Vampires (red, white, and black courts), werewolves, ghouls, demons, both the summer and winter courts, and even a ruling council known as the White Council. There is a ton going on, but the books are a ton of fun and the game should have plenty of options.
The group that is making this game is Evil Hat Productions who has made a few other games people may recognize. Don't Rest Your Head and Spirit of the Century. Sotc is by far the most known since it uses their Fate system, which is based on the widely known Fudge system. The Dresden Files RPG is also going to be a Fate game, their updated Fate 3.
I am not a part of their company in any way, but I love the games they have made thus far. I am also play testing the Dresden Files Rpg and want the word to get out on a cool game based on some great books. Everything is subjective, so if you do not think the books are good, or something along those lines, there is no need to bash them. :)

I hope you take a look at this game and hopefully find a new game to play in the future.
