Its kinda intesting that out of the last seven drawings for the MegaMillions multi-state lottery, mega ball #26 has been drawn four times; on April 26th, May 2nd, May 6th (three consecutive drawings) and on May 16th. |

[Minolta 35mm / 24 mm / Fuji Provia 400]
I'm working a summer job which requires me to wake up at 4 AM. So, in order to not mess my schedule up too much, on the weekends i've been "sleeping in" till 6 AM. It's actually sort of nice how it works out, since dawn and dusk are the two best times of the day for photography.
Early in the mornings its not uncommon to see a dense layer of fog hanging around the lake behind my apartment. |

This was sorta an experiment with my recently acquired Minolta light meter. I fired a small strobe into an umbrella to get the indoor lighting to closely match the outdoor lighting, and yet still look natural (i.e. as if no flash were used). The cat is looking down at a foil reflector I placed on the futon. here's a larger version (231 kb). Unfortunately I didn't have the camera completely level and had to do some major cropping. hence the very bottom of her paws and ledge are sorta cut off.

I have a ton of slides (both 35mm and 6x4.5) that i've gotten back recently, but no way of scanning them properly.

Have I ever mention how I hate 4x6 and smaller prints in matte finish? Well I do, they don't scan as nicely. I'll post more after Wednesday (Physics final exam). |
