I see some new people have friended me here as well as some people have kept me. That's okay, but I no longer use this journal. Feel free to remove me or friend me at sunshade, where I am not friending back unless I friend first at the moment, but it's 80% public, with art/fic/fandomy posts [like icons/moodthemes/layouts as well] always public. So.


Just my last PSA here.

Um, I don't have a super spiffy name right now/paid account/even layout/icons, but I'm no longer using this LJ. I-I've moved to sunshade. I added about half my flist there, since, well ... this is a start over. If you're not there, I DON'T HATE YOU. In fact, if you're even still on my flist, I like you. But I only friended back people I speak to, either over LJ/AIM or people I have things in common with as well. Some LJs that are never updated weren't added even if we're good friends. If you start using your LJ again, holla?

I love everyone here, thanks for the 5+ years of memories, the 22,000 hits to my profile, the 2000+ posts and the 28,000 comments. That's a lot of 2's ha ha.

You can friend me over there, but I can't say I'll friend back :( It's the same content as here, fandom/RL/whatever, so it's not like a big change, really.

I was browsing popular on DA, as I do every day and came across this stamp. OMG YOU'RE NOT A REAL ARTIST IF YOU DON'T HAVE OC'S PLEASE GIVE ME AN MY ANIMOO BULLCRAP ATTENTION.

Plus, the peddling of backs is ridiculous. IF YOU DIDN'T THINK DRAWING FAN ART WAS WRONG, WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU MAKE A STAMP SAYING SO?

People have been drawing other people's characters for years, way before DA. A large gross of J.W. Waterhouse's work is Shakespearean characters or figures from mythology. Art is art.

I am not bitter about Valentine's like I was when I was a young chicken. I see it as a holiday for free love to everyone, including my friends. I was trying to think of a proper meme. I would do the comment for love thing, BUT I don't know half of you as well as I really should and I'd feel bad giving X friend I've known for five years more love than X friend I've known for 5 weeks. I never finished my last art meme with three arts left to go, which I still plan on doing, so I'm still in that cycle. :/ I COULDN'T DO A WRITING MEME, CAUSE IT WOULD TAKE TOO LONG.
