but i had a dream last nite that for some reason took place in a field of wheat and flowers.
it involved me, devin, devin's mom, my dad and some crazy bitch i saw in a training video yesterday at orientation... among a few anonymous people.

essentially what happened was (and it makes no sense) devin's mom gave money to a cancer patient; the crazy training video lady started insulting her for doing this which in turn made me go berserk and take a knife to this lady's throat to make her apologize. devin tries to calm me down at first but the lady keeps saying shit about his mom so then he joins in with me XD;

then my dad appears out of nowhere in a pink apron and has a tray of fresh-baked cookies which lures me away from the lady.

yeah... i dunno. but now i know chris is gonna wanna see emil in an apron.

so yeah... 2nd day of orientation, here i go! 8D

- this weekend was amusing and fun what with grandpa's party and such.
- the dark knight was awesome. i already said that, but it needed to be mentioned again.
- avatar: the last airbender is seriously the greatest cartoon ever. no joke. and i can't help but be depressed that it's over.
- i like the job at mandalay bay. i honestly wish it paid a little more, but i'm getting 40 hours a week guaranteed with free meals :P so i'll settle for now.
- don't really know what's gonna happen with cheeburger XD; i need to talk to people there.
- i have orientation for the next 2 days at MB, which i don't mind, but i hate when the dress code is "business casual" because i never know what to wear.
- who can REALLY define business casual anyway? i feel like it's an oxymoron.
- zinnia keeps destroying my mom's plants... and it slightly amuses me XD;
- i watched the other boleyn girl last night... and was still sad even though i knew anne was gonna be beheaded.
- i've lost 6 lbs. in the past 2 weeks, just by cutting my food intake and not eating after 8pm. i'm happy about that.
- i really need to hit up the gym again.

so i got the job at Mandalay Bay as well. i'm really hoping that the 2 will be compatible with each other, otherwise i will probably just go FT at Mandalay Bay since they will eventually give me benefits.

the interview at Allegiant Air i believe went well. the main thing that sucks is that like, the first thing they told me when i got there is that they're not really hiring at the moment and this is just so they can build up a talented candidate pool for when they are. which is cool i guess, but still :[ after the actual interview i had to take a general knowledge test; which essentially was a test to make sure you're not retarded :P you have to get an 85% or better so we'll see what my score was soon.

but yeah, that's pretty much life right now. i've gone out with j-team and some people a couple of times... but yeah.

honestly though, i'm glad i'm getting busy again. it'll make the time pass by faster because i just really want it to be christmas. random... i know XD;

also, they sent in my info for a background check at mandalay bay. and if everything is dandy with that, i should have a 2nd job there. :D

and we'll see what happens with allegiant. that is still the position i want the most, so if i get a job offer with them, i'm taking it without hesitation. let's cross our fingers and hope :3

anyway, this news has made me much happier! i can finally plan things and pay things off. well... in 2 weeks anyway :P

so i'm finally getting some good luck on the job front.

- tomorrow i'm finding out whether or not i get a job at Cheeburger^2. basically i'd be a "bartender" except i make shakes and malts and ice cream sundaes and all that jazz. :3 it's not bad either, like $8.00/hr. + tips starting.

- i got a call this morning from allegiant air which i REALLY REALLY want. like more than any other job i applied for. my interview is on the 14th. and of course i want it because i want fucking free plane tickets D:

- i JUST (literally) got a call for an interview tomorrow for the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. :]

and yeah. i'm nervous because i REALLY REALLY need something. and soon.

until then i can't pay off anything and i can't start working on my cosplays and other plans.

i just stopped posting for no reason. it's not like, i'm NOT on lj ALL THE DAMN TIME, my life is just THAT uninteresting. :[

but it really is that uninteresting when i lack the funds to go out and DO anything. lol. and when i have no job, and just blah. but then also, it might've just seemed worse to me this week since like almost everyone was out of town and my mom has been bitching about things more than usual the past few days (poor JJ :[ )

anyway, i'll just sum up what has happened in the past week or so:

- obviously no luck with a job :[
- but i also think i may not be trying hard enough XD; blah
- started reading new moon. but literally JUST started, like 30 minutes ago.
- kept one of the 2 kittens my mom brought home.
- FYI, it's a girl, and my mom wanted another flower name. so she's Zinnia.
- my mom got into 2 RIDICULOUS fights with JJ.
- both last 3+ hours and was over the MOST PETTY SHIT I'VE EVER HEARD OF.
- and today is my mom's 45th birthday :P and the first thing i said to her today was: "WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE I'M DOING?!?!?!" at like 2am. lol 8D;
- cleaning, cleaning and uh... oh yeah, MORE CLEANING.
- saw WALL-E and Wanted. i actually really enjoyed both. maybe i should've written about that XP
- i might be going to Cali for a week with my mom and JJ. we'll see.
- oh, and lastly... yogurtland at town square, is like one of the most amazing places ever. D: ♥

it's just 'cause my life has been really really boring XD; looking for a job sucks. i've put in quite a few apps, so i'm just gonna give it a week or so and see what happens.

also, i watched into the wild. love love loved it ♥ it's not for everyone, but i think it was really inspiring.

the shittiest thing about being in a long distance relationship is the fact that being apart is "normal", and how fast time goes by, and the fact that it feels like we weren't even together just a couple of hours after i drop him off at the airport.

and what's even worse about this time... is the fact that we don't really have an idea of when we're gonna see each other again, and that is what really makes me want to cry.

one thing that i'm really loving about this trip is that we really get to pretty much act like a normal couple... well, not saying we're ABnormal, but as in if we were living together or just closer or something.

i really don't mean to be cheesy or anything, but i really have woken up happy every morning because the first person i get to see is him~ i love it.

obviously my mom isn't very happy about me staying here 2 weeks, but she did tell me to do what i felt i needed to do; and this was definitely it. there are certain things that still weird me out about being here, but i'm adjusting ok.

don't worry everyone, there are no plans to move out here yet... not that there will really be any at all XP i love vegas too much. but that doesn't mean that i might not want to stay out here longer during a future visit.

seriously, if it's somehow possible, i really do love him more every time i get to be with him. it's actually pretty sickening.

buuuut yeah, i'm tired as balls. i should crash before i start another mushy rant XP

so surprising devin last nite, even though it was just one day early, went totally great. the only thing that really went wrong was the fact that the fucking t-storms in phoenix made my plane almost 2 hours late... which means i didn't land in new orleans until 1am, which in turn means we didn't get home until 2:30am. 8D;
