Freshers fair begins tomorrow. I will be dressed in full armour, handing out leaflets and trying to get as many freshers to join Oxford University Kendo Club as possible. I went to the Exam School today to set up our table and was thoroughly impressed (and then discouraged) to see the fantastic banners and displays other society members have put up. It's my first time being on the Kendo committee so I've no idea what was to be expected, but I'm predicting our stall to be rather on the shabby side...I've collected our Kendo varsity banner from the stock room and plan to drape that across our table, and hopefully 'those Darth-Vader looking guys with swords' will be enough of an attraction.

It's that horrible time of the month again. *crawls into bed like a dying cat*

Oooh my gosh, the RAW for  Totally Captivated  chapter is out?! *gnashes teeth* I want the English translation now dammit!

My oh my! The Chinese drama series for Prince of Tennis is looking to be really good! Just saw half of the first episode but am saving it because my mum wants to watch it with me XD
I'm really suprised that it's a mainland China production as opposed to Taiwan or HongKong as many of these dramas usually are. But I'm not complaining! Lot's of EYECANDY, and it's a nice change to hear the actors speak without shuddering at their awful Putonghua.

Is Code Geass good? I'm kinda curious about it but the drawing of the main character is putting me off. Also it seems like another one of multi-season shows, which I'm staying well away from.
So really, this post is kind of pointless.

Has anyone heard of the anime series, Toshokan Senso (Library War)? I don't believe it is so well-known. I found it quite by chance and thought I'd watch the first episode...and ended up watching the whole 12 episodes in one day (and thoroughly enjoyed it). It's set in a futuristic, dystopian-like world where freedom of speech and expression is closely censored by the government. Fighting this oppression are the libraries who have taken a military approach and employ 'book soldiers' to stand against the abuse of power.
It's actually a romantic story at heart but the backdrop is really interesting and not an insignificant or irrelevant issue. Highly recommended!

I have been listening to the CD drama previews for Totally Captivated. I WISH SPEAK KOREAN!! I have to make do with listening to external sound cues and voice reactions to guess which part of the manga it's at. *sigh*

Holy crap, Totally Captivated owns my soul  *dead*

Also, ITV's Lost in Austen has officially turned into crack fanfic.

Meh, don't like this one much. Tried a different style of colouring and it turned out looking a bit too blurry and messy. Reference used.

Dang it, I am once again trapped in the I-have-every-mental-intention-of-doing-work-but-can't-bring-myself-to-do-it-physically mood. More specifically, I have all that data I collected from my project but am too scared to try and make sense of all the numbers. AAaaaah! I hate Jwatcher.

It's about time he gets the spot-light!
