My dad has made hotel reservations for another militaria show. This time it is about 5-8 hours north of here. YAY, I'm going to get to see new states =D.
Hope I find some neet stuff, for cheep. |

I signed my lease today. I got one sweet apartment for myself down at MSU.
The clubhouse for the complex has a gameroom, yoga room, gym, study area, computer room, pool, kitchen and movie area. Oh and get this, all the rooms have 2 or 3 flat panel tvs in the walls with an Ipod mount IN THE WALL, to listen to your music while doing whatever.
The room itself is 3 bedroom, 3 baths, kitchen, wash room, and living room. Comes with cable tv and cable internet. It comes with most furnishings. It all cost about 390 a month.
Things I have left to do for school.
Buy text books. I can get the ISBN# by trying to reserve the books from the school bookstore site.
print off a sheet on when I start school, and when they want to be paid for tuition.
Look for a new car. Something cheep.
Do things around the house for my Dad. Go back to my Grandmother's and finish her yard.
Get started on Elec book.
Finish amp.
put things on ebay |

Today is orientation. This means that I have to be at MSU at 7 am. It takes 3 hours at least to drive there. I've had no sleep -_-

joined this thing to talk to a guy about a room. I haven't heard back yet.
I will be going in tomarrow/today to get the shot I need for the forms my college wants.

Send off Dorm info, and look for a place to live (i've probably waited to long to get a dorm room).

I took my last final today. It was an astronomy final. I didn't really study for it much. I did not need to do good on it. I could have gotten a zero on it and still had an 84. Anything above a 59.5 would insure my A in the class.
ANYWAY, the important news is that I got my grades back on my first three classes
AutoCAD = A
Linear Algebra = B
Differential equations = B
I'm so happy. The DE test was insanely hard. The questions were harder than any of the questions from the H.W. and from past test. I was afraid that I had done so poorly on it that my 95 average would drop down to a C.
But it didn't, just brought it down to a B. But I'm happy with a B. B's are pretty damn good.

My DE teacher just gave us a Bonus sheet that can add 25 points to our higest test.

Got my last DE test back today. Got a 98 =3
That brings my average to a 93.66

That my friends is a very bad picture of a row of very very expensive guitars. Just one is about $3,000.
That pic was taken at the gibson shop in Nashville. It is one of two said shops. I've now been to both.
I'm now back from my trip to Nashville as you may have guessed. Tomarrow I start school back. I have laundry to do and things to get ready for class tomarrow.
Today on the way back home we stopped off at mall. The mall had a guitar center. One of the floor worker asked me if there was anything he could help me with. Just to mess with him I said "sure, do you have a baby bluesbreaker reissue with custome handwired componets." To my suprise they did.
Oh god does that thing sound sweet. Like sex in rock n roll amp form. Oh god, I can not describe it, so great, so very very great. And to think in just a few days I will be building my own for less than half of what the reissue cost.

| Day 2 -- Nashville trip |

Yesterday sucked.
We went to the Opry Mills mall. Jesus fucking christ is that a big Mall. It is bigger than most towns in the South. It had one of two Gibson stores in the country which is the only place I to while there. The store was full of 1000 and up guitars. Oh god, it was just dreamy XD~~~~
We left soon after we got there however to take my Dad to the hospital for his fallow up. This wouldn't be a big deal but A) my mom brought her dog and my sisters dog (who was left at the mall to help my little sis look for a prom dress) and B) we were in a full size van so we couldn't park in the parking garages. I had told them to sort this stuff out before they left but you can only image how well that worked out.
So we drop my dad off for his fallow up and drive around looking for a place to park. While my mom is driving, her little dog gets car sick and PUKES all over my crotch. Yeah, that kind of killed my day. So here I am, driving around Vanderbelt(sp)with dog puke all over my package. Oh yeah, and I had a nice large cup of tea with my lunch right before we dropped him off. So not only was I coverd in dog puke, I needed to go to the bathroom pretty badly. I got to enjoy this experience for about 4 hours.
After that we went back to the hotel. I had to shave with my multi tool becuase my mother forgot to bring the razor handel after I reminder her the day before. I cut the shit out myself doing that. After I got a bath and cleaned the puke off myself, we all ate chiense food.
Lets hope today goes better. |

| Day 1 -- Nashville trip |

Yesterday was noneventful. I got up at 10, got the rest of my stuff packed and then waited another 4 hours for my folks to get theit stuff together to leave. It never fails. No matter how long I put off getting ready, they always take longer and I have to wait on them.
The drive itself only took about 3 hours, which really isn't that bad. To my joy something nice comes with our room. I get 3 free beers every day from 5:30 to 7:00. Yes you read that right, FREE BEER!!!!
We pretty much staid in the room most of the night. They ordered out and got me a phillycheese steak sandwitch. It was great but I woke up at around 5 this morning becuause of it. It must of had a ton of sault in it as I woke up very dehydrated.
I'm not really sure what we will do today. My dad is still asleep and he has his fallow up later today around 2 pm.
Hopefully I can find a nice large mirror while I'm here to take lots of vacation emo pictures for all of you. Won't that be grand? |
