Might as well post this while I'm waiting for some friends to (hopefully) show up. :/
I got the new kitten. I was going to name him Harvey but now I'm not to sure. I'm thinking of a different name so I have to ponder it a bit.
Anyways my biggest fear was Mitcho. She had lived on her own for quite awhile, not having to share with another kitty. so needless to say I was scared she was going to unhinge her jaw and swallow the poor kitten whole.
Well I showed her the kitten (while still in the case) and mitcho just hissed and growled the whole time. So much the kitten was terrified in coming out of the case or at least 2 hours.
Mitcho was so angry she hid under the bed for the rest of the night and was under my bed the whole night.
At this point I was less worried about the kitten (who knew to back down when Mitcho hissed at him) and more about Mitcho.
Well thankfully now Mitcho is at the point where she'll hiss at the kitten but only as she's walking by. She's not fizzing up, nor is she doing her cautious walk. She's learning to tolerate the kitten at this point. *lol*
This is actually going a whole lot better then I expected.
Thank goodness. *lol*

I did something rather out of the blue yesterday. I decided to re-orangize my whole apartment. That meant the bed is FINALLY in the bedroom, and the corner desk is now in the living room as is the sofa bed. I'm really happy with the result.
HOWEVER
By cleaning everything out I realized I do need more shelving so I plan on picking up some wall mounted shelves and book cases tomorrow at Zellars. I think I have enough HBC points to warrent a 100 dollar gift card.
Rad!
I also plan on plaque mounting a few things so I can hang them up and be content having stylish looking images that just aren't thumb tacked to the wall. *lol*
You never realize how much shit you have until you clean out and move things. Seriously. X__X
It's strange that I feel inspired to do this. I was going to do it on Sunday but then I realized the new kitty is arriving on Saturday and frankly, that would mean moving stuff around while worrying about TWO cats. X_X; One of which will be REALLY grumpy.
Bwah! So excited! XD
I'll take photos of the new set up and the new kitty and Mitcho's reaction to the new kitty! Yay run on sentences!

So far this is one of the best Rifftrax's I saw. I can't WAIT to sync up The Chamber of Secretes! Great great stuff
They made Star Wars: Episode 1 watchable. :P
I also started reading again (finally) and I started Cormac McCarty's "No Country for Old men" I'm enjoying it so far. :)

I met the kitty I want to take with me!
Two of my friends took in a cat that ended up being pregnant and had 5 kittens. I said I'd take one and I was able to meet the kittehs when we came over to take Alicia out with us for some beer and fast food. (it was a fun girls out night *lol* )
They have 10 cats total. They're fostering four kitties for petsmart until they're old enough to go out for adoption. So many kitties! XD The mommy cat was very friendly. When she saw us (Stacie, her sister Ashley and myself) she coiled her body around our legs and looked up at us like "I LOVE YOU!"

I love kitties!!!
Now to finish up this powerpoint presentation by 4pm so I can meet up with Anita so she can look over it!

I don't tout myself as a web designer and yet... all the graphic design jobs I'm having are all for web design! O_O;
Needless to say, I'm going to be doing three web pages for the same person. I have to whip up a contract and all that fun stuff.
Extra money is a good thing and I think I can do this with the little time I do have. *firm nod* I have to say, I'm happy that I've been put to work night shifts because of this. Gives me more time during the day to work on stuff AND if I work late I can sleep in and there wouldn't be a problem. *laughs*
All money I'm getting from my freelancing is going straight towards my plan to buy a condo. I'm just tired of rent, I'll be honest and a house is just... well not in the works for me because I'm single and I live alone with a cat. Also, I hate mowing the lawn. :P
At least things are starting to look up again.
Side note:
Try this chicken recipe!
Marinate Boneless and skinless chicken breasts in Olive Oil, fresh squeezed lemon, soy sauce, honey, pinch of salt, pepper, diced onion and garlic for at least 2-3 hours.
Then just grill it and serve.
Seriously, this is one of the best chicken recipes I've ever had! o-o
I don't measure stuff so that's why I don't have that much info on that. *laughs*

Happy Canada Day to all Canadians on my F-list!
I was greeted with the noises of fireworks from Sunday night when i got home from my parents place in Listowel! it's been non stop since, hurrah!
*twitch*
I had a few friends over yesterday for some shinnanigans that involved a PS2, DDR, fighting games and a DQ blizzard cake.
For the record, I will never each a DQ blizzard cake again. I think I almost went into a diabetic coma after eating a slice of that. X_X;
I managed to horrify Ashley with Metalocalypse, while Stacie was horribly amused by it. XD
Also we couldn't help but realize just how flamboyant King of Fighters: Maximum Impact 2 can be. I still can't get over half of those alternate outfits. Seriously... *lol*
Today, I had all day to do whatever I wanted.
Instead
I did nothing.
nothing at all
Not even working on artworks that I was hoping to work on.
Procrastination at it's finest.
By the end of this week I am going to be a frazzled wreck with all these fireworks X_____X ugh
