duncandog05's Journal

5th January, 2006. 11:20 am. riting a journal is hard sometimes...

Hapky New year,

As you mihht have noticed, I'm not hte best typer...they don't bake these keeboards big enough for my paws, maybe if I give Mom the puppy face she'll type. (pawes to make eyes a mom)

Mom: OK, OK DUNC, I'll cave...you dictate.
Dunc: **profuse hugs**

Mom says that she wants me to get buff, actually what she said was that I am truely talented and I should be doing agility and stuff, but can't right now because I'm too "over weight" and I will hurt myself, so I have to concentrate on that first.

However, she says we get to walk every day! And that I get to try some new food and maybe even get to go hiking!

So, I'm looking forward to it....hopefully we can visite the LLamas and donkeys and horses in the neighboorhood!

Off to take a nap....

Dunc

Current mood: calm.

17th May, 2005. 8:06 pm. Round Spinning things on Mom's feet

Ok, so today's exercise time comes about. It only took all day of pawing to get her to get Dad out and go. I guess it is Tuesday, and we do it in the afternoon on Tuesdays, but I just can't wait! I asked if we could do something different than the park tonight, so Mom cooked up a good one. I knew it was going to be a hard workout when she got me all wet with the hose. Then she put these round spinning things on her feet that make her go really FAST! Then she had these strange things on her wrists and knees, I don't know what they were.

And then we were off, Dad got Casey and me out of the back yard and we all walked down the street toward the park. Then Mom took off with Casey! I couldn't believe it, but I know she was challengeing me so I had to show her I could do it. Dad and I started running and Casey and Mom went off on the spinny things, man were they fast! I just kept my head up and ran really fast, urging Dad to keep up with me. Finally we got to the corner and Dad and I got ahead. I was so happy to be ahead, but I wanted to see how far back Mom and Case were, because I wanted to make sure they could try to catch up to me. They finally did and then Mom took both Case and me back home.

Those little spinny things go a little faster than I really wanted to but it was a good push for me. There was this one time when Mom looked so funny - she was waving her hands about wildly and bending back and forth and sideways! I thought she was going to fall and I could catch her, but I think she was just teasing me!

Ok, time to go get in my chair and check out the cat scene out the front window and relax!
