Just to let you know guys that, after hard negotiation (they didn't had the choice anyway) I finally got my raise. So now it's 100% sure, we are going to move into the BIG house and stay there for one more season. We will see how thing goes from this point then.
Of course, I've chosen the worse moment to move, as I have to deal with the end of the season, having lot of people in the park due to recent Eu's holidays, combined by the fact I also have to prepare my holidays in French Riviera & Florida. Wowowow... O.o |

Look like the park don't know what to do any more to attract tourist, especially for the last few weeks of the opening season... So, let me introduce the "3 Nity", or how I'm used to call them "The Lagoon Boys", since they sing before every dolphin show on Saturdays and Sundays until October 12th, saturating in same time with loud music, our Sea lion's show in the Arena down. The result is a big cacophony of talking and musics, while we try to present a show...
Don't take me wrong though, I have nothing against those guys (who are from France btw, and really nice as well). Just the whole mess with organization and communication as always here. -_-

Otherwise, not much to say, and I'm still waiting for my next pay-check to see what I will do with my life here. Meanwhile, ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) shinigamigirl seems to have fallen into the WoW community now, and I'm wondering if I should follow as well, as it seems to be a cool game.
Also, I've found out that BMW's front lights are kinda fragile. I broke 2 of them already (the main right one AND the left fog-light), just getting hit by some little stone while driving. O.o |

Last Friday, blue_panther, patrix_darkhoof and ultraviolet came for a visit. It was indeed nice to see them all for a few hours, as well as going out of the "sleep-work-eat-sleep" routine for a change.

I will skip again that babbling about no much free time for the net...ect And will go straight to the main thing:
I'VE BOUGHT A NEW CAR, AND IT'S SEXY !!
BMW 328i convertible. 200 horse power. Color black-metallic. Slightly used condition with all options, including leather seats, parking radar, fully auto-roof (with rain-detector), AC (I know, sounds weird for a convertible, but it's there!), tinted windows, on board computer, Illuminated entry system on ignition key surround, Ten speakers with OEM radio & CD player, Fuel economy EPA highway (l/100km), ABS, heated washer & seats...ect...ect };P
shinigamigirl and I really started to hate my last car (the FIAT coupé), since it started to get old (with over 220000KM - around 136701 miles) and broke too often. So here we go, something nice new and shinny, to be able to enjoy the (we hope) upcoming sunny days ! |

Other than this, I don't have much time for the net. We are missing two trainers in the team, and in same time are asked to work even more like if we where already doing not much during the day. O.o
The result is, after work not really much motivation left for siting from of the computer, and do things. So, I'm mostly spend the time relaxing front of a game (actually THIS one), or a watching a movie (like THIS one tonight). |

YOU people, who dare to go out from your comfy house to visit a Marine & Amusement park when it's -5°c (23°F) outside, while a cold wind is blowing like crazy, as well as a mix of snow & hail falling over those trainer who really wonder about why they have to do the show for YOU. Yes, YOU ! At least applause a bit dammit !!
Doing show for like 8 people who seemed to don't really care much, in such horrible weather than my finger where not able to hold any fishes any more after a few minutes, was so far the worse experience ever, since I'm working with animals. Frankly, I will never get why people who see that the weather is that bad, still decide to go outside to visit a park. O_O

Still in need of trainer here btw. The last girl who was recently hired, just decided to leave this Saturday, since her boyfriend was not able to come to live in Swiss...

Coming right back from the doctor where I've just found out I've a really bad sinus infection... I'm usually pretty strong, and can handle all the major winter's sickness without much troubles, but that time it was looking bad enough to start to worry. So I'm under lotsa meds for a few weeks now, and off from work until at least Monday. Then another doctor check and we will see. O.o
Now, even with some more free time in my hands, I still don't think I could ever find the motivation to finish the neverending coding for my web site (www.drakkor.com), and, as I start to really get tired of receiving E-mail like "any word on when your site's gonna be back up? I came across your site randomly before and liked it", "I can't wait for you to finish your website" or "hey man whasup with your page ?"...ect
NOW IT'S ENOUGH ! I think it's time for me to move forward and ask around for some help. So... I'm seeking ANYBODY with some good skills at web pages coding, designing...ect willing to help me to build my web site. Please, keep in mind that I'm not able to give you any money for it, but you're welcome to put your name and (c) on the main page, claiming you did it. Plus, you may be able to win a swim with dolphin as extra bonus too. Will see... Hehehe. Anyway, feel free to contact me if you are interested. Thanks you. };) |

Let see...
First, shinigamigirl and I stayed at orcakeiko's place for a few day. There, we went to Discovery Kingdom where we seen Shouka (the Orca), as well as some others great animals. We actually got offered a job too there ! If only the salary was better, we will be already doing our bags to move to Cali. O.o
The DoubleTree's room was good for the price they charge, except some minor troubles with the water in the shower, which has to be fixed in the beginning.
The first day at the con was quite interesting, helping orcakeiko and his friends to set up the whole FCTV (the official TV channel of the con). Plus, while we where passing by the backstage of the hotel, we could enjoy some interesting explanation left for the employees, about how to dress nicely the breakfast buffet or the butcher block buffer.
Between all the panels/events there, 3 really caught my attention:
-The Adult Dragon panel, hosted & presented by kitelessd. A MUST see !
- The horse panel hosted & presented by Chris Sawyer.
- The live animal panel, where we where able to see some cool live action & presentation of Cougars.
In general, FC-2008 was really great, even if this time the hotel seemed to be over full. From what I heard, next year will be the last time FC will be organized at the double tree, and there's some chances that the site will be re-located somewhere else for 2010. We will see.
Thanks also to all my friends & people who stopped by and say hi. I've a bad memories to remember all the names, so I cannot name you here, but it was indeed cool to see some familiar faces, as well as some new ones. }:)
And of course, not leaving the area without going to eat at this awesome "fondue" place, The Melting Pot ! |

Yup, after something like 15 hours in the plane, arrived safe there and staying at orcakeiko's place for now.
Shopping day today, and shinigamigirl even helped me to buy this awesome toy which I will try out during FC soon, as well as (and it was actually the first purpose of buying this one) during the next opening season with the phins.

Lately, my car started to show me a nice lil red warning light, which was related to some injector's problem. After a check, it seems that the "Phase sensor probe" was dead and needed to be replaced. Problem, my car being a kind of limited edition, the mechanic told me he searched all around Swiss and even Italy (where the car was made), to be able to find the broken part unsuccessfully. At the end, they had to order something compatible which they had to adjust to my car.
Well, long story short, the price for just changing the part will have been around 350$, now of course they asked for 645$ ! Yay, right, perfect... And happy X-mas, uh. O_x |
