We kicked some serious Golden Eagle tail!! 35-3!! ♥
"It's Daughtry's first major award nominations in the American Music Awards, and for the first time ever, they're going to let fans vote instead. That would mean, even though they deserve to win, they might not because it's not decided by merits anymore!"
"This is a major promotion for Daughtry world-wide since they will be performing as well. But winning will boost their Holiday sales even more! We want to see that 4x-platinum certification now don't we?"
So, PLEEEEEEEEASE vote!

‘Daughtry’ Is Best Selling Album of First-Half of 2007
The 5th Best Selling Digital Album Of All Time
DAUGHTRY, the fastest selling rock debut in Soundscan history has just been certified triple platinum by the RIAA, acknowledged as the biggest selling album of 2007 (the first to go 3X platinum in only the first six months of the year) and the 5th best selling digital album of all time, ahead of seasoned superstar artists such as James Blunt and Coldplay, among others. With back to back smash singles “It’s Not Over,” and “Home,” simultaneously hovering in the Top 5 in the Adult Top 40 Radio format, (“Home currently at #1), and the video for “Home” locking down the top spot on MTV’s must-watch countdown show – TRL, Chris Daughtry, once again, finds himself dominating all sales, radio, video, and digital music formats. On the mobile music front, DAUGHTRY’s first single, “Its’ Not Over,” has sold more than 1.8 million digital tracks and ringtones, with “Home,” soaring past a million in digital sales, topping nearly every mobile and wireless carrier chart imaginable. Incredibly, the album and singles combined digital sales have sold over two and a half million, with the album remaining in the Top 10 of the Billboard Top Albums chart for an amazing 27 of 28 weeks.
The once-in-a-decade phenomenon that is DAUGHTRY has also become this summer’s most coveted and popular live ticket, with the DAUGHTRY band selling out clubs and halls throughout the country in a sold-out trek that has garnered rave live reviews. The band will join fellow road-warriors Nickelback on July 1, kicking off in Halifax, Nova Scotia for a limited series of summer dates that will bring two of rock’s most vital bands across the U.S. to rabid fans who can’t seem to get enough of rock’s brightest new light. Daughtry will also be performing in between the Nickelback dates throughout the summer.
Debuting at #2 on November 21, 2006, DAUGHTRY was the first rock band release in nearly 20 years - since Bon Jovi's 1988 classic 'New Jersey' - to hit the top spot after debuting in the Top 10 below #1, and the band has never looked back since.
That amazing parallel was merely the kick-off salvo in a year that has seen DAUGHTRY reign over practically every platform of the music scene: The band and album are pulling in superstar-brand page view numbers in the digital domain, continuously drawing over one million views per week to their artist site www.daughtryoffical.com, after scoring the top spot of virtually every major music chart in the rock and pop format.
Yesterday was the 30th anniversary of Elvis Presley's death *sniffles*. I meant to post about it then but totally forgot.

Ok, about SYTYCD....what was up with Pasha getting the boot???!! Huh?? I mean, I voted my butt off for him (and Neil) and he gets the boot. I really don't get it, so that's why I didn't vote this past Wednesday night for the final 4 performance show (which was AWESOME btw). I knew Lauren would go but Pasha??! I wanted Danny to go...ARGH. Buuuut, after watching Wednesday's show, I started to like Danny a little bit more so than before. I absolutely LOVED Daneil's routine. Mia did such a great job. I also really liked Labra's routine. It was so cute and Wade is absolutely AMAZING. I was just really surprised to see Lacey go first last night...and then Neil...shockerrrrrr O_o. Once it came down to Danny and Sabra...I knew that this show is TOTALLY predictable and rigged (more so on the first part actually). But, I shouldn't complain much since I didn't vote. I kept telling myself that I didn't care who won and congrats to whoever did...they were all deserving of the title of America's Favorite Dancer. I guess I'm still a little bitter b/c I miss Kameron and Pasha (and Neil and Lacey). Anyway, congrats to Sabra :) .
Gah, I can't believe SYTYCD is almost over! It seems like it just started! So, there has been a minor setback to this week's episodes. They're only gonna show the regular performance show on Wednesday and not show the Top 06 results show won't be until next Monday. Sooo...they're just gonna throw the rest of the SYTYCD stuff at us all at once next week and then BOOM, it'll be over before we know it..'tis nuts, I know. I think I saw where the final results show will be next Thursday, where we find out the winner.
Sooo.... I somewhat expected last week's elimination...at least w/ Dominic but not Sara. See, Lauren and Danny need to go bye bye, like.now. It's not that I don't necessarily like them but there's something that I'm rather iffy about. They are really good dancers, don't get me wrong....buut..I don't know. Danny has grown on me somewhat the last couple weeks but I still want him gone. I've been wanting Lauren to go for a while now. First her and Cedric and then her and Danny. Week before last's elimination wasn't cool either. I was not a happy camper when Jaimie and espiecially Kam got the boot. Kam is and was my #1 favorite this season but at least there's Lacey-Mae. I was SO happy to see Dmitry and Benji back on the show this year but as choreographers! My boys have come so far in such a short amount of time and I was SO glad to see Travis back too. So, yeah, my Top 04 is Pasha, Lacey, Sabra and Neil. But I have a inkling of a feeling that Danny may make the Top 04 over Neil...gah, I hope I'm wrong >.< .
PACEY SCHOVALEV FTW!!
(Pasha & Lacey)
OMG! Blake Lewis' album is titled A.D.D
and is coming out November 20!
SPAZ ATTACK! XD
Friday, I went to see:

it was AWESOMELY ADORABLE!!! I loved every minute of it, especially Jimmy Marsden & Zac Efron ♥ ♥ ♥
then, Friday night, I went to a Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows countdown party. It was better than I thought it would be.
Saturday, I got my copy of HP & the DH and saw:

It was AMAZING x9483948201. I had a cacaphony (sp?) of emotions during the whole thing. Then, I got teary eyed toward the end. :'( But yeah, David Yates definitely exceeded my expectations.
Starting with the weekend before last. My aunt's wedding on the 30th went well. It was very nice and the ceremony was kinda short too. The food was gooooood. Then to last week. Didn't do much on the 4th except watch fireworks on TV and outside. Thursday, we went to Nashville to go to some museums for one of my classes for school. We went to the Frist and the Tennessee State Museum. Both had neat exhibits and whatnot. Saturday, some people I know got married..Jodie, Jodi and Katie. I also went to see License to Wed Saturday, which was kinda ironic considering Sat. was the biggest wedding day of the year. It was SO good though. I absolutely LOVED John Krasinski ♥ . Mandy and Robin were great too. I had heard of JKras before but mainly b/c of The Office...I didn't really know much about him except that. He's such a cutie too.
I still wanna see Ratatoullie (sp?), Transformers, Hot Rod and Hairspray. I was a bit iffy about Hairspray at first since I'm not much of a musicals person but after seeing the previews a few times, it looks good! Oh and I still haven't seen PotC3, bad I know...I forgot about it for a while and I remembered it the other day. But the big movie for me this year is Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix...I.can.not.wait. I have GOT TO go see it...I have somebody in mind that I'm gonna ask to go see it with me so I'll ask 'em if I see 'em this weekend. Tonks looks totally awesome and kick butt...I'm super excited to finally see her. xD
I'm in the process of looking for some new icons...probably SYTYCD, still some Bshorty/Chris Rich and other stuff. But see the folders I had ALL of my icons and graphics in, got deleted completely off of the computer. They're gone for good. I tried EVERYTHING to get 'em back and I couldn't...sooo..I'm just starting all over. I had probably over 2 or 3 years worth of stuff in those folders and I'll never get 'em back. >.<
I got Jon McLaughlin's album yesterday. Ya'll NEED to check it out, it's GREAT ♥
My aunt's getting married tonight, hopefully it won't rain, which I don't think it will but it's hard to tell.
We've had rain for the past 3 days sooo....idk.
I talked to Emily the other day. I haven't talked to her since who knows when and it's been a year since I last saw her. She called me Saturday night and I got her message Sunday morning, so I called her Monday and we talked for a while then we talked on AIM that night, for probably 2 or so hours. She was supposed to be staying in Orlando for several months but she was there only a month and got sent home b/c she got sick. She's also getting married, probably next year sometime. Craaaaazy. She said she wants me to come to the wedding, but we'll see how that goes. *shrugs*
I haven't been commenting on SYTYCD3 but I have been watching it and this week's elimination wasn't cool. :|
It totally wasn't expected either. I SO thought Cedric and possibly Lauren might go but nooooooo. ARGH. I was not a happy camper. I can understand how some wanted to keep Shauna but I think Ced's little speech thingy helped him in votes :\. Jesus was one of my few favorites and now he's gone! :( Jessi didn't deserve to go either. Pasha didn't look too happy after that, poor thing. It's gonna be weird wit him paired with Sara but we'll see. She did pretty good on that Paso Doble w/ Jesus so maybe they'll surprise us, who knows. But yeah, my favorites are Kameron, Lacey, Hok, Neil, Pasha and Jesus :( . My favorite pairs are Lacey/Kameron & Dom/Sabra (Jesus & Sara was my favorite pair but...yeah). I was quite fond of Pasha/Jessi after a couple of weeks too. Kam's my main favorite though, he's quite pretty :D (he kinda makes me think of JP from Daughtry...I think it's the mohawk). So, the first week, I had a good feeling that Ricky & Ashlee would go and last week I wasn't surprised that Faina & Jimmy left. I knew I should've voted more for Jes-Von this week b/c I directed most of my votes toward Pasha. On the bright side, Lameron's still there and my votes did help Pasha.
a little Cake somethin' until I can get around to post more.
any of 'em except for Already Gone, Take It Easy, Hotel California and Life in the Fast Lane.
I tried asking this in _rockthenight but it never was posted so I thought I might have a slight bit of luck here.
thanks in advance :)
gah, I would've LOOOOOOOOVED to have been there ^

oh yeah, it's obvious *shakes head*
