You've got to be fucking kidding me

I've seen this guy on 6th Ave. You can tell just by looking at him that he's an asshole, but did you know that he's also a Nazi? Can anyone say DREAM DATE?!

The Onion is sponsoring the Coney Island Rockabilly Festival this weekend, so I'll be working tomorrow. I'm supposed to get there around noon, but I don't think I'll be there until about 2. It should be pretty cool, what with all the rockabilly music and burlesque performers (there are hundreds of them!) Give me a call if you think you might head down. My plan is to dump an enter to win bucket on a table and wander around for a few hours.

Here's something mildly interesting. As I'm sure you've seen by now, there's a website called findheman.com that is dedicated to tracking the human phenomenon that is this man:

If you hang out near Union Square or Madison Square Park, chances are pretty good that you've been able to bask in his shirtless, choker wearing, scrunchy toting glory. Lucky for me, I work right between the two parks and our office has had some pretty amazing He-Man sightings. Some of us think that he's noticed us all standing along the back windows of our office holding up "9.5" signs and cheering him on. The other day our Senior Programmer happened to notice that He-Man was again outside of our windows taking a little workout break. About half-way through his reps, I had finally found a camera and manged to get this priceless shot:

He-man Workout

But that's not all. You can now see the man, the myth, the legend, in action. A force to be reckoned with.

One of my absolute favorite bands is on MySpace and I think that you would love them and that they would love you. Please do yourself a favor and give them a listen. Hell, add them to you friends list...they deserve it!

Check out The Last Car. Seriously. It's for your own good.

Sure they are amazing on the Internet, but they are even more amazing live. If you're free, you should check out one of their shows at UCB on June 8 or June 15 at 8 p.m. I will be there on the 15th and would love to sit next to you and hold your hand. You can make reservations here:

Friday, June 8 at 8 p.m.
Friday, June 15 at 8 p.m.

Not enough for you? Ok, then watch these little videos that I recorded last year:

"You Belong To Me"
"So Easy To Love"
"Chalice of the Madrigal"

Hi everyone,

Bro'in Out is tonight and I have done a very poor job of promoting it. Too top it all off, our main guest cancelled. But...thanks so my friend Lisa, we now have an even more amazing main guest! I'm trying desperately to get a crowd to the show, so I would be so so so thankful if you could make it! I really do think tonight's show is going to be great.

Bro'in Out with Leo, Tony and Jawnee
Monday, May 21, 8 p.m.
Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre (307 W. 26th St.)
$5

With special guests:
Samm Levine (Freaks & Geeks, Undeclared)!!!
Peter Gwinn (Colbert Report)
Ann Carr (Comedy Central Motherload's Honesty, Giant Tuesday Night)
Musical Guest Teddy Goldstein

Seriously...SAMM LEVINE! I'm so excited! Apparently he rescheduled his flight back to LA and moved meetings so that he could do the show. I'm a little bit in love with him.

You can reserve tickets here. Hope you can make it!

Hey friends. I'm sorry that I never post and only ask you for favors, but I promise that I'm going to try to put up an interesting post tomorrow. Things have just been pretty busy.

So yeah, I'm asking for another favor. Thanks to those who helped out with local bands, now I'm looking for local websites.

We're trying to find out some of the most popular sites or blogs that are based in/about New York. i.e Gothamist, FlavorPill, etc.

Got any suggestions?

Another request

Ok, here's a fun one! I'm looking for local (NYC/Brooklyn) bands to promote in the Onion. They would basically be getting a free ad in the paper, along with a bio and photos. So...

Who are some amazing NYC/Brooklyn bands? You've got to love them, and they have to be Onion appropriate.

I love it when you guys help me!

Does anyone have the song "Mother" by Danzig that they'd be willing to share with me?

Also, how are you? I'm good. I miss you.

Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate my birth. Sorry if you were there and had to leave early because the show went on so long. But seriously, thank you for coming. I adore you all! Fun fact of the night, Peter Krause and Josh Charles were at our party. Weird!

Marianne and Craig Sara, Marianne and Anya

Martha, Colleen and Meghan Ambrose and Livia

Many more photos of fun times that were had by some, if not all.
