Some comments about this journal:
Attitude
This is personal journal. It is open to public, but it is not written specifically for the public; rather, I write for myself and friends, as an exercise in self-reflection with a dash of exhibitionism with appreciation for a sensible random voyeurist. To put it other way: I write what I want. If you are offended, I don't care. If you are delighted, please tell me about it!
Photos
Some postings are made from my mobile phone. Yes, those big ugly pictures are from the phone. Yes, posts are written in English because my phone has only Latin charset input. That explains why they are short, and why there are typos. I edit posts occasionally, and thumbnail pictures. See also Language below.
If you are aspiring photoblogger yourself, and want to know details: I use mmslj on my LG VX6600.
Language, or why you do (or do not) write in Russian?
I speak Russian. This is half of my mother's tongue (the other half, poorly neglected in the past, is Ukrainian.) I also speak some English. I try to write it as well. I decide which language to use on several criteria; sometimes I post from phone and cannot use Russian (volapyuk excluded). I don't care if you don't understand Russian and my post uses it. I also don't care if you don't like my use of English (unless we are talking grammatical errors; I adore Strunk and White, I own a copy.) See Attitude above.
References, or why don't you get a normal nickname?
My Slashdot and Sourceforge nicknames are the same. The letters-numbers combination comes from Internic handle I had in whois since 1995.
