Eurobeat de Chocobo [12 Jul 2008|12:54am]
Let's go in the Way-Back Machine.

Does anyone have this song I did in the many moons ago? The long one (possible called version 3?), that's a few minutes long?

I can't find it...

Stuff to talk about [17 Jun 2008|10:39pm]
Topic chosen first come, first serve

Boobs - Never touched them, despite Xtina's always getting other people to touch hers. Kinda wonder what they feel like, in a clinical sort of way. Be all, "Ooooooooh..." And then go back to wanting to touch a nice set of pecs XD

Death Knights - Looking forward to the new WoW expansion, but really, it's more about the dancing and the hair than the Death Knights. Should be fun, though might be boring to see everyone mass try DK at first. Could be an interesting diversion.

Eurobeats - Getting back into it. Doing a lot of song idea formation, still having trouble getting them into the computer. Finally bothered to make a template in Cubase so it's easier to get into it.

Fruit hats - Not for me. Plus I don't like fruit flies.

IKEA - The happiest place on earth. Wanna go there, soon. Stuff I want to get. Except I always forget what it is when I get there. >_> I really don't like the setup of my room, but I think it was poorly designed. Half the wall space in the room is unusable for storage things, and I can't move the bed to the other room for lack of privacy (why didn't they install the door on the OTHER side of the stairs is my question!), and I can't move the music stuff due to noise concerns. Oh well. I know when I get a place of my own, it'll almost be all IKEA.

Keeeeeeeen~ - :P @ Amy. For those not in-the-know, a friend introduced me to someone the other day. Lives in Toronto, a bit younger, but not by *too* much. Still within my preferred range, just on the periphery XD. He's really cute, and really shy. Hard to tell if he likes me, though, of if he's just playing along. But I'm doing stuff with him Thursday, and I guess I'll find out then if there's more of a connection.

Lobster - Honestly never tried the stuff. Kinda squicks me out a bit.

Mudkips - i liek him. Have you heard?

Neko-boys - Cute, but I prefer the hot ones who look a bit older. Damn, some of the guys at AN, no costume, but just street clothes and cat ear headband, and that was so hot.

Penis - yes, plz

QQQ - WTF Amy?

Rick Astley - I actually wouldn't mind doing a cover of another of his songs sometime, but, well, aside from Together Forever and NGGYU, *HAS* there been anything of note that he's done?

SNES - I wish mine worked. ;_; I set up the old computer to the tv (more for Stepmania), but I could do emulation on it, but I still don't think it'd be the same, plus it's way too much work. That's the good thing about consoles, just pop in the game and you're good.

The Mole - Episode Three [17 Jun 2008|10:03pm]
(gonna make a couple posts, since they're all free-standing. Hope y'all won't mind. :P)

Bobby, Bobby, Bobby... Knew you we're the Mole. Out of all the seasons of The Mole I've seen, rarely does The Mole use physical inability as a cover for sabotage. Only exception I've seen was in season 2, and it was pretty brief.

Ali, Ali, Ali... Never really knew who you were. You didn't really DO much, it felt like.

The quiz this episode seemed rather difficult. Since everyone was so split up, it was really hard to play the odds, which for me is the better strategy in the early stages of the game.

Fruit of the Luge: If I were The Mole, I'd be in the trusting group, since you have the most control over the money. You could easily mis-hear something, misplace an item, or ruin the whole thing and accidentally keep talking after the finish line. After all, YOU didn't see it pass by.

Dress Code: Tough call, this game. If I were The Mole, I'd probably go along with my group if there were doing well, but I wouldn't exactly make too much of an effort. I'd definitely try to steer them away from the laundromat, though. I *could* outright refuse to play the game, but unless someone else did too, it'd almost be too obvious.

Overall Suspicions:

Alex - Not as dislikable this episode, but 100% not the Mole. He just does way too good during the missions.

Clay - He was incredibly suspicious this episode. He cost the team money by talking after the finish line in Luge, and refused to play Dress Code. Plus, his coalition-mate got executed. I'm still gonna keep my eye on him.

Craig - Second on my list. He seriously botched up in Luge (sadly, with my main Mole suspect). He *was* the one to find the clothes in Dress Code, and by their group taking all of them, it'd have prevented a later group who might have stumbled upon them from getting dressed. And if they didn't find the laundromat, it wouldn't be his fault, he's just too big, right? :P

Kristen - Kristen is off my list. She's not a star, like Alex, but she's doing too good in the challenges. She added a lot of money to the pot in Luge as the truster, plus she's been good in previous episodes.

Mark - He's a bit higher on my list this week. He did help Kristen get the money in Luge, but he quickly refused to play Dress Code after Clay opted out, which was a quick $5000 done. But it seems to be too little, plus, in the Uphill game in episode two, he missed a shot at nickel and diming by taking the cab.

Nicole - This season's Elavia. I think she's trying too hard to pretend to be The Mole. The Luge I think was a genuine mistake on her part, that she played up to try to gain suspicion. I just haven't seen much actual sabotage on her part, she's a decent player.

Paul - Still a complete ass. In all the seasons I've watched (all the US, and UK1 and Aus3), the Mole has NEVER been the villian of the show, they've usually been a fairly likable person. Plus, he'd done well on challenges. Another factor is that ALEX is still in the game, and I think if Paul was The Mole, Alex would have been executed by now.

Victoria - Even more certain that she's the Mole. She lost a lot of money in Luge with Craig, but she was sitting in the prime spot. She could go along with Craig's talking, and get all the fruit right to make it seem like she was trying. For the Dress Code, it didn't seem like she made that much of an effort to win, but just went along with the flow. Plus, it seemed odd that she picked a unique massage style, something that would be very quiz-worthy, and help pick out the people who think she's the Mole from lucky guesses and playing the odds. Plus, during executions, I can't get past the fact that she's smiling and laughing during her results. And her reaction after Bobby got executed, it could be like Kathryn breaking down at the start, realizing that it's HER that got Manuel gone, and now this is the first time that Victoria has realized she cost someone she liked the money.

In all, fairly certain Victoria is The Mole, Craig and Clay are tied in the next spots, and Mark is pulling up the read. Alex, Kristen and Paul are definite nos, while Nicole is still a wild card.

Because stealing from Christina is fun [16 Jun 2008|08:01pm]
And I don't have any better ideas.

1. It begins with a list of all 26 letters of the alphabet.
2. Comment with something you want me to talk about that starts with one of those letters. Make me babble about anything -- TV shows, food, penguins, cheese. idk, be creative lol :D I'm sure you can think of something to make me talk about that would entertain you~ (It'd be nice if you could pick something I might have an opinion on! 8D)
3. One topic per letter but you can grab as many letters as you want :D
4. I will post a new post talking about all 26 topics given to me!

Who is The Mole - Episode 2 [10 Jun 2008|02:07am]
I was right. Liz wasn't The Mole. But I kind of expected her to last longer. Actually kind of started to suspect her this episode, since she volunteered for everything.

It's getting tougher. There's a lot of physical inability, and it's hard to tell what's real and not. And Paul's a douche. Nicole is more tolerable.

The Uphill Game - I don't think either Mark or Kristen are The Mole. They could've easily taken the extra $5000 out of the pot, and so many quiz questions were biased against them, that I think if either of them *were* the Mole, the other player would have been executed. Nicole got a bit of suspicion by mostly playing goal, a rather inconsequential position with how the game was played. Victoria is racking up suspicion from me, though. She's laying fairly low, but she's helping to instigate the Bobby vs Paul and Alex fight. She also lost her bag in the first episode, and helped to try and divide the group during this game.

The Pig Game - It would have been easy for Liz and Paul to really botch this one if they were The Mole, and they did rather well. Same with Craig, telling them how to fire the slingshot. $22000 ain't bad, especially since it would have been easy for Craig to not correct the others, and Paul and Liz to just miss everything. The $1000 Paul cost them on a hunch (which *was* correct) wasn't unreasonable. A small amount for what was a huge reward. Alex did rather well, although collecting the pigs didn't guarantee the money. Bobby sucked, can't really blame Kristen and Craig for that.

Overall suspicions:

Alex - Don't like him, but I don't think he's The Mole

Ali - Kind of suspicious

Bobby - I hope I'm not pulling another Angie Everhart, but I think he's just useless, not The Mole.

Clay - Still high on my radar, though I haven't seen him DO anything suspicious.

Craig - I don't think he's The Mole. Not the right type of person, though I think he'll do well.

Kristen - I want to suspect her more than I do, she just really seems the type to be casted to be The Mole.

Mark - He's calmed down a lot, but I don't think he's The Mole.

Nicole - She laid back much more, she's one to watch, but I don't think she's it.

Paul - Like I said, a real douche. Either he's one heck of an actor, or he's too livewire to have been picked as The Mole.

Victoria - My main suspect. She failed the waterfall game, was a scavenger in the Crusoe game, helped divide the team with the uphill game, and I think she was one of the slingshotters who failed at first, and cost the team some pigs.

Who is The Mole? - Episode One [09 Jun 2008|01:40pm]
For those that don't know, I LOVED The Mole when it was on the air. And during the final Celebrity Mole season, I made my analysiseseses and predictions on here. And failed miserably, immediately discounting who The Mole actually was. But now that it's back for another new season, it's time for more predictions! Yay! (This post will make much more sense if you actually watched the show)

I'm keeping better notes this time, who did what, failed what, and so on.

The Show
The Contestants

Now that we're caught up...

The Games:

The Waterfall Game - $10000 isn't much in the scope of the game, and since as a player you don't have much control over if you were playing for money, if I were the Mole, I'd go for it. A couple of the people who missed their bags seem like the type who'd try to pretend to be the Mole early on, and considering some of the players (Liz, Nicole) who DID get their bags, it didn't seem like too hard of a challenge. I'll keep in in mind for future results, but, I don't think this game means much now.

Robinson Crusoe - I don't think Nicole is The Mole, just a bit bitchy. Plus, the teams she picked seemed rather reasonable. There's only so many spots, and I think she tried to get the more athletic people as Timekeepers, the smarter and more experienced ones as Appraisers, and everyone else was leftover. Since we didn't really have much of a timeframe, it's hard to say how long the game lasted, though I don't really blame Paul for giving up near the end, since the rest of the team was almost done, and they looked to have a really physically tough task. The Appraisers made some stupid choices, but they could only work with what they were given. The Appraisers had the best chance to mess up. What's I'd do is find the correct items, and then try to make sure no one ELSE found it, either by saying that area had already been searched or something like that.

Contestants - (just ones I have thoughts about)

Nicole - I don't think she's the most. She seems casted to create drama, but I think she'll lose early on. Like with Patrick from Season 2, if you don't make friends, you lose out on information, and he was out soon after. Plus, she made reasonable choices for her game.

Craig - Possible suspect. Lost the first game, and didn't do too great the second one. Kind of like how Frederique emphasized her language difficulties to defer suspicion, it'd be easy for him to use his (lack of) physical ability as an excuse, and do even less than he normally could. Plus, he's likeable, which can defer suspicion.

Victoria - She's staying a bit low, but like Craig, she lost the bag, and was a poor scavenger.

Clay - He strikes me as being someone who would be cast as the Mole. Smart, a lawyer, and physically capable.

Liz - I don't think she's the Mole.

Mark - Super-veiny-hockey-dad is not the Mole.

Everyone else I don't have too much on a vibe on, and it's time for work, so hopefully the second episode tonight will be more revealing.

PS - PLEASE NO SPOILERS!

Yep, at Crimmy's the night before the con. Fixed up some pieces of my costume, broke her tube of Stay Seam, helped pin stuff on her.

Oh, and I shaved my legs again. :D

Cause I need it done for the Link costume, and something on Saturday.

But I actually did a GOOD job for once, and I know why. This time, instead of just doing a wet shave, I used the clipper part of my electric razor to preshave the bulk of the hair, so when it was time to do the wet shave, it just went all nice and easy. They're so smooth *_*

Anime North [22 May 2008|10:09am]
[ mood | excited ]

Going to Anime North this weekend. Should be a fun time. I hope. >_>

Cosplaying Link's Ordon Village outfit from Twilight Princess, although, to be honest, I'm not sure WHEN I'll be able to wear it. :P

Friday I have to be in 404s wear most of the day, though possibly after the show I can sneak off and change. Then that night is either rave or karaoke.

Saturday I'm hosting Anime Jeopardy! Yay! Bringing a suit along to look the part, which means no cosplay till that's over. The event's in the Renaissance (for those for whom this means nothing, the con takes place in three buildings, the Doubletree Hotel has most of the panels and events, and is where I'm staying, across the street is the Toronto Congress Centre, mostly the dealer's room and artist's alley, and then about five minutes down the road, the next hotel over (crossing above a highway) is the Renaissance Hotel, with gaming and Yaoi North), and everything I wanted to do AFTER is in Renaissance, so it's either bring along the costume and change in a washroom or something, which will be rather difficult, or head BACK to the room, change, then head BACK to the Renaissance. :P Probably the latter, since I wouldn't want to carry around the suit the whole day.

Then Saturday evening is back in 404s wear for the midnight showing.

Sunday is a tossup. Helping with the charity auction, but I'm not sure if I should be in 404s wear for that, casual, cosplay or what.

At the very least, I'm in it for most of Saturday.

Shopping will be interesting this year. First year I'm gonna bother looking at dvds. XD Too expensive before. Someone at work wants me to pick something up for them, too. I might rebuy Little Butterfly XD. <3 that manga. And maybe Sukisho dvds. See if there's a Companion Cube plush for sale for Tako.

Need to get Lina a bday present at Nominoichi or the DR. Then again, haven't heard from her in ages. LINA! WE GO TO NOMINOICHI! WILL BE AWESOME!!! CALL ME!!! *MAKES CHEESY HANDPHONE MOTION!* :D:D:D

Wondering if I should bring something I wanted to return to someone, but I'm not sure how they'd take it, cause I mean it as a nice gesture with smiles and ^_^s, but I don't know if it's come across as, "Hey, I don't want this anymore, take it back, biotch," which I DON'T want it to. *scratches chin* Then again, not sure if they're going, or if I'd even run into them. But hey, if you're the person in question and want it back for sures, go to a 404s show and I'll be sure to have it on me! :D  EDIT (from Crimmy's place)  GAH!  I forgot to pack it.  Which, as Crimmy says, means that I'll probably keep running into the person the whole weekend. >_<

Hope I remember to pack everything >_>

I keep realizing I've forgotten two parts of the costume. One I can pick up at a drug store, hopefully one near Crimmy, so I can also maybe pick up something to remove leg hair... But I keep forgetting these two leg bands. >_< Too late to make it, and I don't have material to do it. Ah well. Maybe I'll be able to improvise *something*... Hope my costume sticks together, though.

---

Hope Ryo and Taku had a great trip, and came back safely. ^_^

I never thought I'd ever do this, but I'm posting from my Wii. Yes, THAT Wii. Got a new computer. A kit. And scrounged parts from my old compy, so it's not useable. Everything going well until I notice. Fuck. My old video card isn't compatable. So I need to buy a new one tomorrow, but till then, no compy. But hey, at least I'm getting use of the Wii's Internet Channel. :P But typing is a bitch. >_

Getting to know your Mikas [06 Mar 2008|02:00am]

So I was browing 4chan, and I come across this:

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us

And, it being 4chan, I ask [info]ryo_omura, so, um, *does* that say anything?

Apparently it does.

Which reminds me that most people aren't aware that I'm colour-blind. Partially, anyways.

Those tests always freak me out, cause I *know* something's there, but I just can't see it for the life of me. It's kind of amusing, too. A little Where's Waldo, but no Waldo.
