As the great cosmic gears slowly clunk around another notch i turn the page to end this chapter of my life, i am not sad to be leaving London, i have had some awesome times and have some great memories of various people and places, my time here is done i feel, although a little prematurely for my liking but the time is right and i need to move on again and for the first time in a very long time i am not constrained by the shackles and necessity of conformity and corporate jargon, false pretenses and the stress of surviving, for the first time in a long time, i feel free.
As of tomorrow i will no longer have a work email or phone, the only way to contact me will be via facebook, email or a message in a bottle. Internet access will be purposely limited and i refuse to get a mobile.
Not sure about LJ if i log in often enough to keep it then ill keep it.

I cant believe some people, i sold a PSU on eBay for 15quid, the buyer thanked me and stated it was as described (brand new) he has had it 2 weeks and claims that it has blown up without being plugged into the mains, the guy sent me a message at 530 on Saturday night, then again at about 8pm then at 12 on Sunday he submitted a claim through paypal before i had chance to respond!
Paypal reviewed the claim and gave me a chance to repond to which i stated the buyer gave me less than 24hrs to respond, the item was sold as described and that i gave no exchange or refund and also stated it may have been due to a power surge or incorrect wiring by the user, i replied to the guys message on eBay asking him to send the PSU back as i want to take a look at it before issuing a refund, surprise surprise no response, paypal have now said that i have to pay for postage for the item back to myself and i have to refund the money!!
Hang on a sec....
PSUs dont just blow up when they are switched off, this guy is trying to pull a fast one and i am now a PSU out of pocket! What a m*therf*cker!!! Im not so bothered about the money its the fact that the guy didnt give me sufficient time to respond before escalating through paypal, sorry but i always manage to resolve any disputes failry quickly through eBay - i have only had 2 in about 5 years!
I hate people like that, cos he has blownup the PSU he wants his money back, what a c*nt

Yup if you didnt know already im moving to Australia for 6 months to have a nice holiday and also to work on a Ski resort (yes they do have them over there unbeliveably!) and train to become a Ski instructor for free, when im done there i have another job lined up in France for a further 6 months doing the same thing so for the next 12 months ill be difficult to get hold of, once all that is done i may go back to Oz or just bum around Europe for another 12 months doing the same thing and working over the Summer from place to place, failing that ill be back in Huddersfield.
I will be keeping in touch as best i can, but at the end of day i really want to minimise my use of computers as much as poss.
I intend to; white water raft, learn to Surf, see some aborigiones, throw a boomerang, visit Fiji and New Zealand, and get a Mauri tattoo and have as much of an awesome a time as possible.
WIll be nice to hook up with danidani_lol & thallium whilst im out there too :-)
Everything is set and ready, Lucy has a home, i have a new camera, and im excited.
Oh yes
- thanks UK and work - but fuck you.

Today i am very happy just because so stick this in your grumpy pipe and smoke it....
Skiing was good, i think i proved to myself that i am a patient person and certainly found out a few things about myself, bonus, and on my return whilst watching UK MMA i found this dude http://www.ianbutlin.com/ and his brother who i went to college with! i used to know them quite well it was certainly strange seeing the interview after the fight, however not so weird knowing he is now a UK MMA fighter as his family were/still are one of the hardest in Huddersfield, go figure.

To cut a long story short im not running IS as a label anymore nor am i organising any shows or parties. I may pick up one or two gigs later int he year and possibly a small festival at some point but untill an advert is out im not officialy doing anything other than djing. A number of factors have brought me to this decision. Thanks for some of your input, support and most importantly belief over the last couple of years, its been great organising and seeing my artists play and i know some small and some big labels have been in touch over the last 6 - 12 months so expect some imminent releases from some of the UKs finest underground talent!
Ill be selling off the IS stock through my eBay account over the next couple of weeks, ill post up some links so get ready to grab some bargins!
