I love Calpernia Addams. I saw this on youtube and it made me cry. I've read a bit about her and seen one of her documentaries "Beautiful Daughters" as well as the film "Soldier's Girl" based on the true story of a tragic event that happened to her many years ago. She is such a smart and strong, yet soft spoken woman who truly believes in herself and in her own happiness no matter what life may bring. She's such an inspiration, not just for transwomen but for all women. The following clip is a monologue she wrote and performed for Eve Ensler's 'Vagina Monologues'.

This!
Made these for a graduation party tomorrow evening. I'm also bringing food to share: spinach artichoke and sundried tomato dip, smoky tofu pasta salad and a veggie green salad. Should be fun. But the real fun starts on Sunday when Marc and I head up to Santa Barbara for some chill out time. Can't wait! Unfortunately our stimulus check has not arrived so we'll have to pay for our vacation out of pocket but oh well!
