I was awakened this morning to the rocking and rolling feeling of an earthquake...It went on for about 20 seconds or so...A check with USGS showed an 5.2 Richter scale earthquake at 4:36:57 AM CDST, centered 6 miles east-south-east of West Salem, Illinois...That's 41 miles north-northwest of Evansville, Indiana...So it's quite possible that any of my Indiana LJ friends like kendokamel might have felt it too...This quake was small potatoes compared to what my California friends have known...But it's a pretty big one for these parts.

Happy Birthday to my two longest running friends on LJ...kendokamel and bramey!...They are two of the finest people on planet Earth for putting up with me since we met at Unrealistic Expectations in 2001..
