Once again, I am reminded of something of great amusement.

I once, long ago, I was an assistant manager to a funcoland, I eventually rose to the position (or fell, depending on how you look at it) of Store manager.

I had customers who would tell me "there is this site Acts of Gord (www.actsofgord.com)
every time I read it, I think of you Darkness".

...and so the Darkness was amused. Then the Darkness finally checked out the site.
...and he was further amused.

Comments like that have been heard on and off during the years.

This Past week, the comment was made again.

So, for all of those who have had to deal with Retail, and the customers that commonly entail, I give you, the writings of another who rules with wit and Sarcasm.

Here is a little something for all my wine drinking friends.

Saturday Night was a blast, I had a lovely evening, got to see alot of my friends, Macavity was visiting town, from Canadia, LoD was out, so many more, Forest, 12 and his fellowship, Heather&Dave, Barbra&Kevin, Donna, Mikey.

Started at Midnight, entered to music I immediatly needed to dance to (allways a good sign). Later a couple of us did a swing by spellbound, allways nice.

It was a good night, unfortunatly the alchohal was flowing too freely, waaaay too much tequilla.

By the end of the night, I was really trashed, and my check card got returned to someone else, yay!

So... Mac and Mike (thank you guys, I owe you both) helped get me home. I have a new drunkest ever night, that makes 3, the last time was the night of my fathers funeral, which is a couple of years, so I don't feel too bad about it happening again.

Sunday was a day of pain, one of the 2 hangovers I think I've ever suffered.
now its monday, I'm still feeling a bit off.
Its time for me to take a break from drinking for quite a while.
Check card has been canceled, waiting for the replacement, havn't noticed any extra charges yet, thank gods.

Well, We finally have our power back, Yay!
Internets, how I've missed you.

Well, we meant to see a matenee of the new Indiana Jones flick, we did see it but not as early as we meant to, so it interfered with our other plans for the eve.

Really liked it, had the right feel, and had lots of touchstones from the previous movies.

hope everyone else who see's it enjoys.

then, off to our favorite wine cafe, which, anyone who hasn't joined Shann and I there, really needs to come out.

and then we made the eve into a double feature picture show, with the Price Caspian, newest teenage hunk movie.
not my taste, but he has pretty hair, and I hear there are hordes of young ladies drooling over him.
movie was fun though, I don't remember if I read the book, so I can't say how it compares.

hope everyone else is having fun, will be trying to hit both clubs, if possible, around artomatic sideshow thingy.

I dearly hope, Jess had a great birthday.

I had a lovely time, I hope Liquid Sunlight was... enjoyed...

here is a little something, that I thought should be shared...

Well, I meant to send out an email to the group I game with, to see if anyone wanted to get together and play games... but do to a miscomunication on my part, the email didn't go out.

...So instead Shann and I went to dinner, and then saw the Forbidden Kingdom.
The movie was awesome, visual poetry.
I recommend it, I really really do.

I like Rum. Rum is a close and personal friend of mine.
Rum and I have hung out alot over the years, not to say that I don't have other friends, but vodka gets bitchy sometimes, and Tequilla and Everclear often get into "things" way beyond my comfort level, but thats okay, I still like them.

Monday is Saint Patrick's day.

Monday is normally not a party night.

The Clubs often celebrate holidays on thier usual day, that is closest to the holiday in question.

Clubs =Drinking, Dancing, and good music.

Saint Patrick's Day=Drinking, music and dancing normally welcome.

Why is it, that none of the Goth (and sometimes-gothy) clubs that I frequent, seem to be doing anything for Saint Pat's Observed?

(I've Checked and rechecked LJ posts and websites, and am soooo sad)

My Irish blood is screaming in pain.
