Well, last weekend in SCW Greg "The Hammer" Valentine made his presence felt as he went toe to toe with SWV, I didnt get to watch it, as after my match with "The Muffin Man" I got changed and left since I had to work later that night, but I did get to watch it on the SCW website. It seemed that the crowd was into it but all I could hear was the salamanders running in the background. My match was not that memorable, since it was a squash, I really dont like working complete squash matches since I dont get to show off my ability to actually work, I have to be the big powerful guy. Which doesnt bother me, but I feel that if I was a smaller guy I could showcase my ability better. it seems that the RPW show that was in November isnt going to be since, the venue would only allow 300 people total in the building. So it looks as if we have to wait until March for another one. That will give us time to get our gimmicks ready for sale and what not. Looking forward to that show. well i have to get ready for the long night at work.

Quick Update about the last few weeks

|
Well, where to begin... First off RICE PW, This was my very first showback from my injury, and it was the dirst time in about a year that I have wrestled in Columbus. It also marks the very first time my family has came to watch me wrestle (they despise this white trash stuff) So it was a big night. I have heard that there was about 1,000 people there from the North Booster Club ( my dad coaches football for Columbus North) The crowd was hot and we had a helluva match against Jack and Vito. The promoter told us that it was match of the night from the reviews he is getting. Next show will be in November. The next weekend I made my return to AWA-SCW in a 6 man tag match that included Draven,Maverick, and Jonny York vs Royale,Ruckus, and Myself. The crowd seemed to enjoy it and we set up for some big stuff this weekend. Including the first ever Valentine vs Valentine match. Check out www.awasupreme.com for more details. It seems that Blayze will not be able to make the show as I promised in my promo, but Hopefully next weekend he can make it down since I have an idea who is gunning for his belt (which he defended in Springfield, Ill yesterday evening) The RICE PW show has ignited some flames under neath the FALLEN and we are going to make some rumblings on the indy scene beginning in Jan. 2007. After discussing it with several people and getting great reviews and encouragment from people. We have to do as some rapper guy put it "Get rich or die trying" so to say. Til next time

Well, it has been a while since he last update on here. A few things have happened such as Chris Blayze vs. Himad Jihad in a loser leaves AWA-SCW match. I am getting ready to do a trial run at getting back into the ring, tomorrow night (or tonight... whatever) for RICE PW. This show is going to be huge. Probably the biggest indy show of the year in the Midwest. The card includes The Total Package Lex Luger, Buff "The Stuff" Bagwell, Former WCW Star Vampiro, The Barbarian, The Patriot, Himad Jihad, The Patriot, "Sexy" Shawn Cook, The Fat and The Furious, The Fallen (<--- That's us) ad a few others that I cant remember off hand. I am kind of nervous since it is my first actual match back and its in my home town. Also the fact that he has presold more tickets than what was in attendance last show. I just hope everything turns out good. The Promoter is a god guy who has worked hard for this show. Also I hope it turns out good for Himad Jihad, since it is his last indy show before he goes to OVW to train.
Well I should be in attendance in Louisville for CCW on 10-3 I may not work but I want to go down there and catch up with some people who I haven seen in a while. I should also be back to AWA-SCW on 10-7. I will be working a very light schedule of bookings until the beginning of next year. Due to "real job" conflicts and me needing to get things taken care of financially so I can take a leave of absence for a couple months so I can wrestle as much as I can next year.
Shout Outs
Billy Maverick: Congrats on number 413, better than last years 501! Chris Morrus: Keep it up, sounds like your doing good in Basic. I will be there in November for your graduation. Chris Blayze: Lets tear it up in Columbus The FNF: Thanks for doing this for us, we couldn't think of a better team to show off what we can do. Draven: Hope things shape up and we get some heat for this winter... It may be pretty cold. SWV: I guess the cream does rise to the top, but doesn't that mean it only gets put in coffee and then drank by people. YOUR SICK AWA-SCW: See you guys next weekend CCW: See you guys Tuesday RICE PW: See you tomorrow BW3: Get your lollipop guild munchkin ass back so I can beat you up some more. Himad Jihad: You're my favorite infidel hater
Well, Im outta here, time to get back to paying attention to the radios and doors here in the Jail
PS. Did anybody see the tattoo that the inmates gave that Child Molester? I think it is F'N HILARIOUS!!! I love it. |
| » Labor Day Weekend... |
...was a pretty good weekend, I didn't have to work the real job since I took some vacation days to go and spend some time with friends and family. Was looking forward to talking with Jack, but he has hurt his back pretty bad from what I hear (but that powerbomb was F'N awesome) Get well soon Jack hopefully you don't go under the knife. Ricky Ruckus and Chris Blayze had a good match, even though it was cut short by Draven. Karma and Jihad had a pretty good one as well, but since Karma lot she is contractually obligated to him. Superbeast finally got the AWA-SCW Title he has put in a lot of hard work over the past few years. It seems like the show on the 30th in Columbus is shaping up, The Fallen was scheduled to wrestle The Fat and the Furious but with Jacks injury we may have to sub in for Jack. Either way it will be a good match. Also, I was contacted by the promoter who said that there will be a film crew to fim it for a possible dvd release and possibly a tv deal. More on that as I know more. I am hoping to get some more t-shirts made up so we can sell them. I wonder if Chris Blayze has emailed the gear lady about my gear... Im betting on no... The shoulder is getting better, I need to go back to the gym bad... I was trimming down, then 3rd shift came along and it is just hard to get motivated to go do anything once I get home. Hopefully my gear will be in soon, I only placed the order in FEBRUARY. Come on YO' forget about the WWE guys and do mine... LOL Well, its about time to get outta here...

| » Back in the Saddle again... |
Well, it has been over a month since I have posted here. Really not a lot has gone on. Chris Blayze has had some great matches with Dick Dalton and Himad Jihad the past few weeks. Karma is doing her thing with the Strangler and SWV, and I have been working in the role of the GM still. Some work issues kept myself from being at the show last night and I apologize, but my bills come before my fun. FNF, sorry I missed you guys last night, really I can say that about everyone down there, but they hold a special place in my clogged artery. Mickey, glad to hear your back, hope you didn't lose it all in Vegas.
September 30th is coming closer and that is my hopefully projected in ring return. I will be doing a tag match on the RICE PW show. If your around Columbus that day you need to stop by. There are some BIG names lined up for that show as well as a grudge match between the FALLEN and the FNF (please no double clotheslines) I think it will be god to get in the ring with the same people you were in the ring with when you get hurt (not their fault I tried to do a stupid move)
Karma is booked on an all female show on October 28th for AWA Kentucky I believe. (oh yea I forgot to tell you lol)
Its early and I am really tired, I will be back on later to finish up this entry

| » DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!! |
Introducing the NEW GM of AWA-SCW... yea yea yea big deal you say, well I do it keeps me involved in shows and gives me time to work on my mic skills, and piss people off at the same time...I thought that the card last Saturday was pretty solid all the way through, there was one match I was kind of iffy about but it turned out descent. The only problem was there was ten freaking matches, I think everyone got out of there at like 1030-11pm which isn't bad, but I think (especially in the summer) that the Show should let out at about 915-930 with it being so hot in the South Central Sauna Center (SCW Arena). Maybe the booker can do something about that (I respect you!! Lol) I want to thank the booker for allowing me to do the GM gig and give me so much creative freedom with it. I also debuted a new theme song Saturday night and this one will stick around for quite a while I think. It was Personal Jesus by Marilyn Manson. Sunday I got to catch up with Blayze, Karma, Jason and Bambi Harding for some good company and catching up. We went to a Tibetan restaurant called the Snow Lion and believe it or not they had a pic of the TIBETAN STRANGLER up on the wall as the Tibetan National Grand Tibetan Wrestling Champion of Tibet. Who would have thought he was the TNGTWC Champ...Anyways after the meal we all went to the new house and watched some wrestling DVD's and I saw one hellacious power bomb off the top rope to the ring apron... I think I will use it lol..But only on Blayze and if Harding is the Ref.
Hopefully within the next few days I will find out if there is a hook up for the FALLEN on some wrestling gear and entrance gear. If there is don't expect to see the same thing twice from us.
I didn't get to make it to CCW this week but it looks like I can make it to next weeks show and the Friday show. Hopefully everything went good down there. I think they really could have something going on once they get the ball rolling.
BILLY MAVERICK IS OVER WITH ME!!! See... I put you over in my journal Billy... now if only everyone else would.
Biff... We are still waiting for Soapy Po's top 10 and the Match of the Week
Well I am strapped for more ideas to write about...

| » JULY 15th... I can't wait until tonight... |
Well, the time has come for the big Regatta Rumble... There looks to be some pretty solid matches on the card. I don't know if I will be doing commentary or what but I have and idea to run by the booker man (I RESPECT YOU!!!) To start the wheels on my comeback and all... Hopefully he gets down there early enough that I can d that. It looks like Chris Morrus and I will be in Louisville for the Weekly Tuesday show on July 25th. I am very anxious to see the Triple Threat match for the Mid-America Title between Jihad,BW3, and Kliff Hanger. All three are solid preformers who bring different thing to the table, another match I am looking forward to is SWV vs Billy Maverick... Maverick is the long time player in SCW and SWV is trying to solidify his legacy as top heel in SCW and advance in the rankings in the AWA-SCW locker room. Chris Blayze vs Dirty Dick Dalton... I havent seen much of Dalton but I have heard that he is very tenacious and very technically sound, It could be a tough match for Blayze whos cardio endurance has ben lacking that could be his one weakness. He lost a very hard fought battle to Jihad last week and has to start back up the ladder in SCW for a title shot... Vito Andretti vs Ricky Ruckus this will ba an in your face hard hitting match, Ruckus better pull out all of the stops if he wants to retain that title and the only other match I can think of is the SCW title Match I think that Dravens time as champ is coming to a close and that The Superbeast Era will start... and will last until I get back from my injury and take it from him LOL... Keep it shiney..for real shine it up for me...
Earlier this morning I watched one of the Best of Jerry Lawler tapes I got and realized that the stuff with Andy Kauffman was great and was probably the best worked shoot in wrestling (Next to the Bret Hart Screw Job)... Looking back I don't think anyone today can compare to the drawing power that he had back in Memphis... Im sure you can say well Stone Cold or The Rock can, but they were national stars, Lawler for the most part was regional in Memphis for most of his career...
I have nothing else... Looking forward to tomorrow!!!

| » Good Friends, Great Memories... |
Well, im here at work, thought about calling in sick so i could spend more time with The Japanese Superstar Referee Jason Harding and his lovely wife Alicia, Fresh from working infront of 2,000 fans in Japan to having dinner at Johnny Carinos with myself and Alicia... LOL sems like a big difference to me. Anyways we talked about the business and I just sat there and listened to his stories from Japan. If you havent been to Carinos the food is excellent! I had never been there and i live not even a block away. Hopefully we can get togther again on Sunday and talk some more, since i had to come pay the bills. The best part of the evening was when the bus boy marked out to him because he was a Japanese Superstar, Alicia seemd very estatic to see her Hubby after probably what seemed like forever (since he didnt calle her LOL, AM I Lying?) Anyways it is always great to meet up with them because even Alicia has a better understansding of the business than half of the people in it these days. I am seriously considering taking the advise of them and going to Missouri to do that so i can get my way over to the land of the rising sun. Who knows maybe this time next year I can be updating from over there... Well the ma is telling me to get to work, so i gota go. Maybe I will be on and have another post some time later on.

| » .::SHOULDER REPORT::. And other updates |
Well, as I am sitting here at work, not doing anything work related and listening to Secrets of the Ring with Raven vol 2 (I'm soaking up all the knowledge about wrestling I can) I decided to update the ELY so I can again try to stake claim to AWA-SCW LJ KING you know there should be a title for that... Ill have to get with SPAZZ to see if he can make one lol. On the subject of title belts I did send the promoter a link to a sweet looking AWA title belt. I also stumbled onto a new belt making company who are trying to get their name out and they are making title belts for cheap.and they look to be good quality. I may save up and buy one then put it on EBAY and try to make some money lol.
The shoulder is doing good, I am back to doing rehab 3-4 times a week now and hopefully when I go back in August he will release me to go back to the gym and start lifting again. I just ordered some new supplements from www.bodybuilding.com to help with my return, I bought some protein powder (take that Billy) EFA's, some Chondriton (to help with the knees) and a really cool hand held body fat monitor, some BSN NO-Xplode, and some muscle milk... plus they threw in a bunch of samples of new products which is cool. Now I am broke and payday is over a week away lol... I should have used my brain. And waited till I got paid but they were having a sale ect...you know the routine.
I am eagerly awating the new gear to come in from Graphic Leather, it will be more of a manager / commentator gear, since I will be out until December or January. I had a great time commentating next to the Prophet even though my mic was off. And if he is talking about the same person I am thinking he was he is HARRIBLE. Just ask Todd Morton lol. I have a list of people that I want to work that includes several "Name" guys and several local guys who after being hurt and getting to watch them I think we could work very well together. I will go ahead and put my list on here for you guys.
In no particular order Jerry Lawler Tracy Smothers Ricky Morton Himad Jihad Billy Maverick (we have worked in tag matches but not singles) Steve Corino Vader (in his prime pre-wwf) HHH (pre-quad injury) American Gigolo (LOL) There are several more but I cant think of them off the top of my head
There's my list, call me a mark or whatever but I think that we could tell a great story in the ring and have a great match.
I would like to see everyone else's list of who they want to work I think it would be interesting.
I don't have a lot more to comment on ....
YES I DO... The return on a Louisville Tradition Tuesday Night Wrestling... The Fallen and Karma were on hand for the very first Tuesday show for CCW. The crowd was large and hot the entire night ESPECIALLY after Mickey hit the sunset flip on Felony to get the three count and we had to get hand cuffed and take the 10 lashings with the belt....My back isn't too bad, but man Chris Morris's back is horrible lol, good thing I wore a shirt. The Fallen wont be back in Louisville until July 25th. I think we need some time to lick our wounds lol... (or Spray AXE into them right Vito?!) CCW is a great bunch of guys and a great locker room. It was good to see Dale Bass in the back doing some promo shots on the guys and gals of CCW. It was really great to come back through the curtain and how everyone was complimenting all of us on the match and the strapping. I think there wa even a standing ovation for it. I am looking forward to coming back to CCW and to start going to there Training Sessions on Saturday mornings when I get healthy to try and shake the ring rust off.
This Saturday in Madison, In is the big Regatta Rumble show, I am looking forward to the three way for the Mid America Title, The AWA-SCW title match between Draven and Royale, and the Blayze / Dick Dalton match. Those are the only matches that I know are confirmed. Hopefully I will be doing commentary again and I will make sure my mic is on this time. This Saturday also is the return of Eric "The Rage" Montgomery to the SCW announce table... he was sorely missed last week hopefully he will start coming regularly again after he gets things squared away.
That is all Damien xXx

| » SHOULDER INJURY UPDATE>>>AND THE NEW KING OF LJ |
37%
Well, I went to the Shoulder Specialist this morning and after waiting about 2 hours I finally got to see him. After doing all the range of motion exercises to me and evaluating my pain level and what not he told me that I am about 4-6 weeks ahead of schedule on my range of motion( I mean what could you expect from me? Schedules werent made for people with my extensive athletic background). He still will not release me to lift weights until I go back to see him in august. He also is sendig me to therapy / rehab for 3-4 days a week for the next month to work on new lifting exercises. I was told that I may not ever be able to use the flat bench again because he said about 60% of the weight runs through that joint on bench press. So I may be destined to be the guy who presses the whole stack on the machine but cant lift crap on the real bench. I still wont be able to wrestle for about 4-5 more months.
I hope Eric Draven has my Jerry Lawler tape that he said he was going to make
Jason Harding is over in Japan right now, I believe he had a press conference to do last night. Hey Harding, PUT ME OVER lol... Konichiwa Bitches
Our county fair starts tonight... I volunteered to work it... on my only night off...STUPID (we need wrestling in our fair, not Hoosier Championship Wrestlin or whatever it is called)
I don't know what is going on with Jack Black and his future in the business is... I do know that working with Vito, Mickey, and Him elped Blayze and I turn the corner and start to realize what the hell we are doing, They have helped us a ton, and I don't think we can Thank them enough.
Billy Maverick is right, people do need to update more and give us third shifters something to do...
I cant think of anything else

| » Holiday fun...and a recap |
Well first and foremost, Happy Independence Day and a big thank you to all of those that have served in the military to make sure im not wishing you that in Chinese or German or something like that. To recap this weekends wrestling events first we will start on Friday Night for CCW. Chris Blayze made his CCW return to aid in the Strap Match against Jack Black and Vito Andretti with the new Manager of Champions Mickey O'dell. With Chris Blayze joining Cujo and Chris Morrus, that makes it 3 on 2... Apparently The FNF think that they can find another person to step in, and well they did... Former OVW Star, Former WWE Developmental deal, and making his return to pro wrestling, "Smooth" Johnny Spade.... Well the place went nuts, we sold him like he was the second coming of Da Jesus, and I think the match went great. Up until the end... you know the part where Chris Morrus lost the match and we were going to get strapped... until we all got the hell outta there and bolted out the back of the building. Apparently there is a LUMBER JACK STRAP MATCH scheduled for July 11th when they start their weekly Tuesday shows.
The next stop for the weekend is the Easy Bake Over Arena... or AWA-Supreme, At this show I did absolutely nothing. There really isn't anything for me to do down there while im hurt. I sat in the back and had some good conversation with Iron Mike Trusty (he has healed up nicely) and SWV about some of the glory years of Professional Wrestling. The match with Chris Blayze and BW3 for the Mid-America Title was a good one up until Chris Morrus decided to take out the ref so that Blayze wouldn't win the title... Then Himad Jihad and Morrus started to attack the downed BW3... Blayze then stood over BW3 as if to attack him but then he went after Jihad and Morrus, the numbers game took over until BW3 came to and stood back to back Chuck Norris style and fought them off... On to the MAIN EVENT... Earlier in the evening HNIC kidnapped Kliff Hanger and drug him to the back, well that left Plowboy Portman with no partner, with me out there weren't a lot of people he could choose from for his partner. But, I believe he picked someone that is suitable... His choice was Karma she did very well in this No DQ everything goes match, she gave it just as hard as she was taking it... that sounds really bad... but you know what I mean. In the end though the dastardly Kliff Hanger came back out like he was going to help Plowboy and Karma but turned on them and the fans, then there was some extra curricular activity going on that im not going to get into because you can read everyone else's journals and figure it out.
So now im sitting at work (making holiday pay since its after midnight) and it is extremely boring, but I know that tomorrow night will be completely different because of all the drunks out and about. I don't have Billy Maverick online to talk wrestling with...Apparently everyone liked my post on the AWA-Supreme board about Ricky Ruckus being the Geico Caveman... I see the resemblance in him...
Another thing that is on my mind is fans who are out of control, I am glad that you are so into it that you WANT to attack a wrestler, BUT STAY BEHIND THE BARRIER its not there to protect me from you, its there to protect you from me... Think of it as the DMZ in Korea... you come into that area and your likely to get hurt. Some people aren't as nice as Kliff, Apollo and JB. Some of us will not hesitate to make some contact with you. I have seen it happen with SABU in HPW someone stole his head piece from him on the way to the ring and he punched them right in their mouth. The cops were called but nothing was filed due to the fan crossing the rail, they said he was justified in defending himself and that the person should have known better. In the past few weeks at SCW I have noticed this from a few fans and it is becoming a problem. This is just a warning, Blayze, Morrus, and myself aren't as nice as the HNIC. Even Karma will protect herself and I pity the person who comes across after her. I know how hard she hits in the ring I can only imagine how hard she hits outside the ring. Now im not threatning you or anything like that its just a friendly warning.
Earlier today I talked with my gear maker and we have brain stormed up a great idea on my next set of gear. The only thing is it is going to be hot. The pants and vest are leather and she is going to do a lot of stitch work and some really cool designs on them. I will probably wear them as either entrance gear or when I start doing commentary for SCW. I am drawing up possible designs for my debut gear and if I get everything I want it could cost up to a grand for my robe, boots, and tights or if I am in good enough shape I may go with biker tights or possibly trunks... I don't know I could go with the old school Nikita Kolaff or King Kong Bundy singlet... I think I want one of the Ric Flair style robes. I would be willing to pay for that, because to be a star you have to look like a star. And as Raven says to make money you have to spend money...Well I think im going to try and find something else to do to keep me busy for the rest of the night... Damien

| » Sounds like fun... |
Talking to Billy Maverick via the email... Sounds like he had fun at the USWF Fair show tonight, also I hear that Vito came in 3rd 2006 Garrard County Fair Pie Eating Contest Congrats to Vito on that ( but why didn't you get 1st) Anyways if I could get about a week of fair shows lined up I would take off of work and just work the fair shows. I plan on wrestling quite a bit more next year when I come back. I hope to have a new job where I can take more bookings throughout the week and more on the weekends. I think AWA-SCW should try to get the fair shows in indiana for next year. I also think that AWA-SCW should bring in Tracy Smothers and Ricky Morton... not togther but about a month apart and have them do a seminar on wrestling... I think they could make a profit off of that. I know I would be there. Those guys would be a wealth of knowledge for anyone in the wrestling business. Apparently the Ghetto Spiders followed us to Indiana and one of them bit me on the nose, when I woke up Monday night the right side of my face was swollen up, I went to the hospital and they put me on three different antibiotics and a pain pill. Hopefully it goes away before Friday night It looks like someone just busted me in the face with a frying pan. It feels like a hellacious sinus headache because of all the pressure. Well it looks like Chris Blayze and Karma are out of a house.. That sucks everytime they start to get on their feet somethng knocks them back down again...well im outta stuff to say...

| » Ring Rust... |
Well, here it is 0527 hours and I still have about 1 1/2 hours until I get to go home... I have been chatting back and forth with Billy Maverick for the past few hours...I am starting to get that itch that I should be wrestling, my shoulder doesn't hurt to move it (only in a few spots) but I don't have strength in it anymore... I know that it will come with time but, I am impatient. Hopefully the owners of AWA-SCW and CCW will be kind enough that when I am getting ready to make a in ring return to let me use their facilities to work off some ring rust... SWV... don't worry about the color of your tights...Oh and I found a sale on Popeye Spinach yesterday at the store... but I don't think you would like it anyways this night is dragging on... It looks like AWA-SCW had a looong show the other night. I designed another pair of boots that I am waiting to get a reply back from my boot guy ( www.prowrestlingboots.com for Strattlin) hopefully it is cheaper than the other price I got. Well I have nothing else be sure to catch us Friday at CCW or Saturday in AWA_SCW. Damien

I picked up the Dusty Rhodes dvds yesterday... and let me tell you something daddy watching the matches and promos sends some tinglin down my spine.... Or maybe that's my legs quake and my liver shiver im not sure...Anyways the best thing is on the cover of the dvds you push a button and it has like 5-6 dustyisms that it says...Well that's all I have for now... | » Now im a weakling... |
When I go to the gym I like to lift weight... I dont like to run or do cardio...Well now that my shoulder is bum, I dont have much choice as to the lifting part, usually I work out with 315 lbs on bench press... I tried to do the BAR today and it felt like my shoulder was falling out of my body. I swear I thought I could get away with getting a lift in today but I just couldnt. The Dr told me no lifting (but what do they know) So I went back to doing my shoulder exercises with the 5 lb dumbells. MAN know I know what its like to be Chris Blayze...LOL. I talked to Chris Morrus about it (he had the same kind of injury to a lesser degree) and he said it was 8-10 weeks before he could even lift wweights and get back to training...Its going to be a long road back, but im ready for it. Well the boots I designed were a bit more expensive than I want to spend they are about 500 bucks I may still do it or i may tweek the design. I think I am going to start tanning I probably will burn the first few times but thats ok...I need to look good and get a good base tan. Well thats about it for now I may come back and write more after I get back from Wal Mart and pick up some more chicken and rice stuff
