I usually could care less about shows like this ("America, you choose! Vote!"), but I'll admit I have a slight weak spot to some dance shows/people. When it first started I would watch the all of the show and its crews, but now I just tune in and watch their segment.

I hope they win it all.

Ahahaha. I love this song, it's been a while since I heard it -- I dunno why I wanted to listen to it today, but I did. It's so bad and obviously dirty and punny (this is a very cut and dry song), I can't help but love it. The lyrics alone are so amusing, the video is a bit eh.

This is so sad.

People actually seriously think Itachi Uchiha (character from Naruto, a Japanese comic/animation) could actually defeat Juggernaut (Marvel), and that's with Cyttorak's gem behind him.

Dude, what the fuck are these people smoking nowadays. *shakes head*

It doesn't help that the former's abilities haven't even been all that developed/shown or talked about (but I'd rather go with what's been shown because characters can just talk to talk, but doing is completely different), so there's a ton of assumptions going around and they're trying to make grounds with that and pinching straws, and it's just getting really dumb now...

Not sure how many people will care about this (since I don't think many on my flist even know who she is), but terrible news.

Izumi Sakai (of ZARD fame) died yesterday.

Izumi Sakai passed away on May 27, 2007 in Keio University Hospital. She was put in the hospital in June 2006 after discovering she had cervical cancer. In April 2007, the cancer had moved to her lungs, delaying her stay in the hospital. According to the hospital, she takes daily walks every morning, during her walk on May 26, 2007, she accidentally fell from the stairs and was discovered at around 5a.m. She was sent to the emergency room, but unfortunately still left. She had planned to release a new album in the fall, as well as her first live tour in three years to show her fans that she's fighting strong against her illnesses. Her company sincerely thanks her fans for the sixteen years of support and wishes that she can live forever in the hearts of the fans.

She will be missed, her voice was beautiful. I'm glad she lived as long as she did, battling her illnesses.

RIP.

Season finale of Scrubs = DUDE WTF, mostly for the end (and my lack of liking hair on Turk). Seriously, that ending segment really got me angry. I hope it doesn't lead to where it looks like it does.

The best pro of that episode was during the end they used Say Anything's Alive with the Glory of Love, which is a pretty great song with an really cool intro.

Besides, the song's lyrics are quite... well, you just hafta listen to it. Other than the apparent meanings and interpretations of the song, the song's actual inspiration is a bit jumbled when looking around for an answer, but you get a general idea, though.

Favorite part, lyric-wise, probably has to be:

I like their music video version better than the album's (it's even more slower-paced, believe it or not). I think this pace is perfect for the song. But in general, this song is much more softer than their past single releases.

Anyway, it's an average song with average music and lyrics -- overall, just really average; even the video's pretty run-of-the-mill. I like how makes he changes his pitch on certain words, though; for me, it does add that little bit of effect/emphasis.

Goes out to all the grieving family and friends of those killed at the Virginia Tech. shooting. I hope everyone affected may find peace in the near future and be able to have a healthy outlet to comfort them and help them move on from this terrible event.

And Jack Thompson and his agenda never disappoints in being able to sink lower than he already was. Never.
