though we have come up against many trials and tribulations [caugh]mr. riddle[caugh], it's gonna be some spiff. i'm an mc, we do some goofy stuff, there's a bunch of spiff music and whatnot, some poetry, a fashion show of sorts, the rebel steppers. good times.
and at times i plan on wearing very little clothing. because i can.
on a side note, lots of people seem to think my last name is spelled grey instead of gray. hmh.i feel: stressed and weary |

happy fucking new year.
joe just called me a minute ago, and everyone in the car wished me a happy new year. joe was the designated driver, so he only had two shots of whiskey. i miss that guy.
yeah. i'm bored. but i don't want to go to sleep because was having really bad fever dreams last night, and i want to put them off for as long as possible.

well, i'm about to head back home. texas has been decent. most of my family in some way bothers me. there's so often an air of pretentiousness between us, varying in type and degree depending on who's involved. eh, whatever. various highlights of the past month or so:
- madrigals kicked ass. i did the time warp and everybody sang great.
- madrigal party was great. nearly every current chamber singer was there, plus some alumni, plus some random otherfolk, but even they didn't detract from the coolness. i made out with caitlin.
- i did almost nothing the last week of school. it was nice. school is shit. i don't even care.
- went down in the tunnels a lot. i am now involved in two tunnel conspiracies/plans. we will be legends with what we're planning.
- totally winged it at the mc auditions. i'm an mc for vaudeville now, along with kyle, anne, brian, and emily. except apparently no longer emily, because she has mono. so now i'm bowser/riddle instead of yoshi+toad-the-shroom-head-mystic. goofy.
- went ice skating with caitlin and a bunch of folk. then we all went over to leah's and drank hot cocoa. lots-o-fun.
- delved into the tunnels last week with lawson and winston. breaking into school is fun. we went all over, found some unmapped parts, but didn't get tags. balls. plus we found out that the trapdoor in the book room is padlocked, so we couldn't surface there. that will have to be remedied.
- after that we picked up adam and max for to head up to lawson's grandparents' farm for his birthday, each car mooning the other, and fucking around on the interstate. that was a great time. his grandmother had bought a bottle of champagne for us. how nice. we watched family guy and played backgammon and schtuff. when his grandparents were asleep, we went outside and smoked some weed. that was some very nice, smooth pot that winston had. for a while we were exhaling through a little device that adam had brought that hid breath odors and smelled of ginger. mmm. but we eventually mostly gave up on that. the high was amazing. i was about as high as i was with chase and kate that one night, but it was so different. also, my set and setting had a very good influence on the high. i was energized, but not exploding. it was great. i tried to play mastermind with winston, but we didn't finish. we watched killer clowns form outer space, and i fell asleep in the middle of it. it is not scary at all, even when i'm out of my head. at one point i was really into our whole vietnam thing, and i was all in character and it was awesome. in the morning we watched some more family guy, played some mastermind, and headed home. i realized that i was still slightly high, and it was great. overal, an excellent time. i owe lawson a cigar.
- sang at a wedding at the olmsted with some other chamber singers. it was hell getting there in that snow. that's a story in itself.
the rest will have to wait until i get home tomorrow because, well, i have to leave for home.
