SOOOOOOO for our portfolio and shit we have to design personal logos and shit, right?

I did this over a year ago the first time I graduated, and while I know it wasn't the most creative fucking thing in the word, I am very fond of my logo.

Then I was just on MySpace and saw an add for a company called "Customized Girl", and their logo looked awfully familiar. And upon visiting their website, so was their colour scheme:



This is the logo from my letterhead - the background is a part of my motif, and I included my colour scheme swatches for comparison. Theirs is much more muted, but still.

I'm more upset about this than I should be. There are clear differences and shit. I don't want to get fucked over by looking like I blatantly ripped this off when I did this a year and a half ago and just saw this.

Oh well, it's just a lame personal logo for my resume/demo reel/business card anyway.

TDK is excellent the fifth time. Today is likely my last real free day before going home on break, so I had to walk down and go see it again. I ended up mentioning that it was my fifth time to the guy selling tickets, and he asked if there was a Dark Knight support group I needed to see. I said there was, and of course we're supporting each other. ;) I love my fronds.

AAAANYWAY.

TWO WEEKS LEFT OF SCHOOL.

I have to have a rough cut of my senior project on Friday morning. I am not done shooting it. We shot the first half of it last Saturday, and were going to finish it yesterday morning. But then the weather was not looking as good as I had hoped, so we shot all the rest of the indoors bits. Tomorrow or Tuesday, depending on the weather, we will finish up the outdoors shots, which there isn't a lot left of. So I think a rough cut by Friday morning is not not-doable.

I need to shoot my 'multiplicity' project for Special Visual Effects sometime this week. I have an idea and everything, so it's fine, but I need to have it shot by Thursday night so I can start working on it in class. I also have a bunch of little projects from the past 2 weeks that I need to catch up on since I skipped class 2 weeks ago, and the one class I skip is the one he goes through over 9000 different things after like 3 weeks of doing the same shit repeatedly. uuuggghhh.

I have to finish reading this shitty book for Lit class (or just Sparknotes, wtf ever I don't even care anymore), and I need to write a paper by Wednesday. The paper only needs to be like 2 pages and "paraphrasing" an article of some kind, so I'm not worried, it shouldn't take long.

Outline for a documentary script due Wednesday morning. 10 Page documentary script due NEXT Wednesday morning.


There will probably be a To Do list posted on here in the next few days.

I also need to clean, format my external harddrive, get together all my pieces for portfolio and maaaybe edit together a rough version of my reel by next Friday (IDK, No one's told me for sure!!!), and I'd like to get my business card together before break so that I can try printing some rough versions off at home.

Graduation in December. Uuuggghhh.

Edit For: if Pete motherfucking Wentz and Ashlee motherfucking Simpson are really having twins, I hope in the future Baz Hewlett and whatever Will Arnett and Amy Poehler's kid is going to be named join forces to defeat the great Wentz Evil in an Epic Battle of Awesome verses Lame (Christian Bale's daughter can come too as you know she's already awesome). It would be epic. There would be songs and books written about it.

I have always gotten bad headaches my whole life, it's a hereditary thing - I practically live perpetually with a headache. It got to a point where I took Advil 4 times a day, and preemptively as soon as I woke up. Yeah, that's a dependency. Now when I get my headaches I don't like to take anything unless it's so bad I feel like my head may implode.

8. I often shake really badly. It's not caffeine or blood sugar. No one knows why. I just shake a lot.

I have a feeling every episode from here on in is doing to make me cry. Just because.

I have an illness of some kind.

I've been getting bad bad *bad* headaches for about a week and they have not stopped. It's basically been the same headache since last Wednesday and it's awful.

The last few days I've been feeling generally worse and worse. Today I woke up and my head felt so congested I didn't want to get out of bed. And didn't until about 4:30 because I needed to go out and get something to drink. I had slept about 12 hours. I came home, ate something, and fell asleep again for about 2 more hours. I feel sluggish and scattered and exhausted. I should be in class right now but couldn't get up to go or even just go and do my homework in the afternoon so it was at least turned in.

I either won't sleep tonight before class at 8 AM or I'll crash harshly and not wake up on time. I don't even want to go, but I've already missed that class once and I can't really afford to miss any more of it. I absolutely HAVE to shoot my project this Saturday (and possibly Tuesday), and I need to have him go over my script tomorrow morning.

I feel awful.

I want to go back to bed, my head hurts so bad.

I have not watched any of the Democratic National Convention and I feel like a bad Democrat for it. Also, I am thinking of volunteering for the campaign, but I just am not feeling the passion and excitement everyone else is that I did during the last election. It kindof makes me feel sad.

I am really in the mood for some U2 fanfic. But like, no one writes lulzy fic anymore. :(

I have not gotten to watch "The Shrine" yet, because when I looked it up on YouTube the only version I could find had a huge graphic/watermark in the middle of the screen through the whole thing, and, well, that's irritating. I MISS RODNEY.
