12:11 pm - I GOT THE JOB!!!! As of Monday I will be working 9-5:30 mon-fri as a Multimedia Designer for Umbrella Entertainment www.umbrellaent.com.au I will be there for 6 months initially but this may turn into a year if we both agree its gone well toward the end of the 1st 6 months.
I was so excited & happy yesterday afternoon after I got the call that I didn't even care that my train skipped my stop and I had to catch another one back 1 stop to my car..
This is honestly one of the best things to happen to me in a long time, finally I have something to look forward to doing every day...
and the $13,500 TAX FREE income (paid fortnightly) I recieve for my 1st 6 months there is nice too

01:55 pm - this has been so long coming I forgot when it started This is my first entry in 2 months, mainly because every time I think of writing in here, something else comes up or I have to convince myself that sitting in my room feeling sorry for myself, writing essays and watching Clone High/Family Guy is more important than being literally creative...
anyway here is a quick synopsis of what I've been up to...
02:10 am - meh.... Well, I know I havent really put as much effort into this thing as I thought I would, but a large part of the blame lies at the feet of my ISP, and my laziness, and the fact that I have very little motivation for anything at the moment....
but in a week or so I will be cruising the InterWeb at 512k/s thanks to our brand spanking new ADSL connection from TPG... (20gig d/l p.mnth)
hopefully by then I will have gained some energy

Since I've begun this, I felt less of a compulsion to actually write here, yet the ironic thing is that the whole point of this re-birth of journal was to do the exact opposite and do as much writing as possible. (as opposed to my previous attempt)
Though regularly I find myself thinking for many minutes of things to say, yet rarely do I actually find the motivation to move myself to the computer and commit them to electronic form... How often I find myself saying "what about this and that and some such...." and other intensely intelligent things of that nature...yet never do they find their way here...

11:55 pm - this is what it feels like to have far too much time and far too little to think aboot.. its past midnight and I'm watching Rage, work tonight was a series of mistakes in transaction form... and smokers slowly killing themselves @ $12 a pop...
this week I've been house(pet)sitting @ my Dad's house, free food and mates over tonight (saturday) xbox LAN action...
recently...well this year has been an odd one....not even quite over yet and suddenly I feel so relaxed, yet with 2 assignments & 2 exams still to go, why is it so?
I realize this is a crappy first entry........I am very tired....but I will conclude by reccomending some music to you all:
Comeback Kid (awesome hardcore, gang vocals and melody throughout, very posi, very fuckin' cool)
Coheed and Cambria (WHY AREN'T YOU LISTENING TO THEM RIGHT NOW!!!.......prog-core or whatever you want to call it, easily the most imaginitive band in the 'scene' and they don't even listen to punk)
Gyroscope (go see them live.....now........DO IT!!!! besides the new album is the best local release this side of the semester)
