The Friends List Deal
Lately, I seem to be getting an increasing amount of comments from people asking me to friend them back even though I've explained in my user info and FAQ page why I don't friend people back. It used to be that I only friend people who I actually know from somewhere because this was my only LJ account for the longest time, and I had used it to keep in touch with my friends. My selective friending had apparently confused some and made them think that I didn't friend them because I didn't like them. So I feel compelled to say this- it really really isn't personal and it wasn't because I don't like you! -_-;

So to solve this misunderstanding, I've removed all my personal friends from my list here and keeping them isolated at a personal LJ I just created over the summer. Why am I removing people rather than just adding everyone who has added me? The simple reason is because I can't (unless I want to be unfair). LJ has a limit of adding only 750 friends for personal journals- which means I won't be able to add all of you who have been so kind as to friend this journal since there are more than 750 at the moment.

Special Exception: Now, some of you will probably notice that I still have a little bit of people left on my friends list. Basically, as of today my friends list will only consist of those people who have helped out with my monetary issues by donating (mostly via paypal or LJ paid months). This is done so that I can occasionally thank them by sharing special extra graphics and resource downloads with them via protected entries.

I hope this will clear up some questions about why I'm not friending you back even when you asked. Like I said, it really isn't personal. :p And besides, all my entries (except for the donation specials) are public anyway so no worries! :)

*(To my friends: I hope you guys will understand my removal and still keep me friended because I know some of you have protected journals and I'd love to be able to still view your entries if I happen to visit while logged in here. Thank you! ^^;)

Thanks Loika! <3 And I'm glad you're okay with seeing the graphic updates- I'm always afraid I'm spamming my friends who aren't really friending this place for the graphic purposes. ^^;

Tea, is not a problem. Besides, having a graphics journal and a regular journal separately is gooooood.

Thanks Hisoka! *hugs* Yea, separating a graphics journal and personal journal has its good points...even if I neglect [info]graychalk a lot. ^^;;

*would never unfriend this journal because your work is too good* ;D Really, it's no biggie. ^o^ Although it must have been a little frustrating with all those people asking why you didn't friend them back. >_>

Thanks for understanding, Asuki! ^_^ And you're always so nice about my graphics. <3 But yea I'm constantly answering questions about friending- evne though I thought I had already explained it on the info page. -_-; It wasn't that big of a deal until I started getting questions about whether I don't like them or something. That really surprised me. :\

o_O Dang I added you, knowing full well that you were probably not going to friend me back since this _is_ a graphics/LJ icon LJ, not a personal LJ. XD No problems here, Tea. =)

BTW, I do notice your entries, but since I'm not really in a graphics mood at the moment (read: FFXI addiction), I've skipped them. But I will know where to go to if I need some inspiration for some graphics... ;D

Aww, thank you for such a nice comment and for understanding. ^^; I always thought it was rather obvious why I didn't friend people back...but I guess not. -_-;

And haha...I understand the addiction of FFXI (or any FF series for that matter). ;D

Geh, some people *sigh*.

But anyways, this sort of thing is understandable. I love your work, and I worship the (digital)canvas you work on (Yea, not ground XD). In fact, I'd donate something if I actually had paypal! This sort of stuff looks so...expensive ;_;!
