Our Prius was parked on the street last night because we couldn't get into the garage. Someone broke into the car during the night, and my bag with my wallet and keys were actually in the car at the time. My bag is gone, and I thought my keys were gone, but in fact, we found my keys in the ignition slot! Both car keys still attached. I guess our Prius confused out would-be car thieves.
It sucks that my bag, iPod, and our cell phones were stolen, but considering that we still have both our cars *and* my car keys, I think we got off lucky.
that is truly amazing. sucks that your stuff was stolen, but I'm really glad your car is still there! Do you know if they tried to use your credit cards?

but yay for the technology of the prius confounding them. heck, im confounded and you've explained it to me. :)
Obviously - bah for all that you lost, but yay for the Prius. Just one more reason why it's fab :)
oh no! at least the prius is still around...sucks about the ipod, phones and the rest though.
hmm...good excuse to get a new phone :)
I picked up a Prius demonstrator late one evening in the dark and no instructions were left with it. Took my son and me 20 minutes to figure out how to make it move, so I understand why these theives gave up!
