She's stalked me around on FA, DA, and even that MyFursona place. Thankfully I think LJ is safe. I first found out about her when she posted some of my art, with Adobe Photoshop scribbled all over it horribly (as seen in the second gallery). I got her ass banned for it, but now she's come back with so many new and multiple accounts that I have lost track. I got her ass banned again, for that AND ban evasion, but she keeps coming back like a friggin' cockroach. Her personality is downright bi-polar. She'll go from spouting praise and "I WANT TO BE THE JAX'S FRIEND' to calling me a peice of sh*t and other colorful remarks. Repeat this over and over, then throw in threats and insults to Magnus because she's a friend of mine, and continually harassing people I talk to for "MORE PICTURS OF THE KNUT" so that she can take and Photoshop Barf over those too.

WHY do I adore these games and why are they so awesome? I mean, come on. They're LAWYER GAMES. Lawyering shouldn't be so awesome.

I wanted to play these so bad, I bought the first one a while back without even owning a DS. A pal of mine has loaned me his with the incentive of getting to borrow each game as I get it.

And now, I have the third one and I'm on Case 5, and still I have yet to buy a DS. Hee hee.

I haven't played the fourth one yet, but I probably will once I finish this one.

Was out of the house hanging with a friend for a few days, and when I get back I end up sick as a dog. Allergies, maybe.. but I dunno. Runny nose, sore throat, headache, boogers everywhere. Spent the last day in bed, and I hate doing that. Blargh.

"D:" has been my expression of the week.

...My dog, Roxy got hit by a car. She came out if it with what looks to be just a few scrapes and a bruised ego, but holy crap that was scary.

I came downstairs totry and do all the clock fixing and animal feeding this morning. Let the dogs out, but when I went to let the dogs back in I only saw Harley on the stairs and panicked. There Roxy was on the other side of the street, sniffing around the sidewalk. She saw me and went to cross back over when a car slammed into her. I saw it all and I FREAKED. It hit pretty hard and caused a huge yelp out of her, sending her a good 15-20 feet skidding on the road. Amazingly she flipped to her feet and rushed to our front lawn and sat there to regain her barings. I went to console her and see if she was okay. I was a mess-- she looked like she was bleeding out her nose so I instantly thought something ruptured inside. Turns out that was just a scrape on the side of her nostril that was bleeding instead. She bit at me some cause she was confused, but once she came too a bit more, she got up and pulled me to the house where she went inside and instantly went to hop and lay on the couch.

The lady that hit her came inside and we exchanged contact info. She was crying and upset-- even offered to pay for her hospital bill.

So, mom pulls in not more then a few minutes later and we end up bringing her to a pet hospital pretty far away. Not much open on a Sunday. In the car she had a weird lil fit that almost looked like a seizure, so I flipped, but she just needed to throw up. Possibly from the stress and her not being used to riding in a car. She could walk fine, no whining or whimpering like she was in pain. She pretty much just seemed very dazed and confused about what was happening and timid. We get her there, takes a few hours but the doc checks her out. (SUPER TALL BLACK MAN-- Roxy's FAVORITE kind of stranger /sarcasm ). Insides look just fine, no damage aside from a little roadrash on her head, face and one leg. She was very complacent and well behaved with the people, no nipping or biting or freaking out like she usually does.

Got her home now with some medicine, we're gonna keep an eye on her. She's still a bit 'out of it', almost like she's humbled like when she thinks she's in trouble. But she's a REALLY REALLY lucky dog. I wonder if she learned her lesson about crossing the road now.

I feel better, but I'll feel better for sure a few days from the now if nothing surprising pops up. I could have seen her wind up smeared on the road. That was jarring. I never want to witness anything like that again.

Well, I got a little time out in costume today-- though not as much as I'd liked. Originally I planned to go to the local Mall for a Halloween-Malloween thing I attend every year. Basically the kids trick or treat store to store and have a costume contest. It's PACKED with kids, so I grab a cute suit (usually my collie) and entertain 'em. I ended up missing out on that today, but I DID hit up a mall. This one was a farther trek, but it had a Games Workshop store in it. Our mall just lost theirs. For those that don't know, my 'Skaven' costume is based off a critter from one of the tabletop miniature games Games Workshop puts out. They loved us, we scored some free swag, and there's a chance our pics will show up in White Dwarf-- the GW magazine.

Made a really Ghetto Death Korps of Krieg outfit for a friend, and another buddy showed up in his Dwarf costume. Was pretty fun, but the mall just seemed barren to me. Only bumped into one other person in a costume there.

Halloween is like Christmas to me, but it's just been getting more and more disappointing every year. Kids are growing up and out of the fun stuff too fast I think. The amount of Trick or Treaters we get every year gets smaller and smaller... I got probably three last year, to a whopping ZERO this year. Bummer.

I wasn't planning on hitting a con for a while, but a friend of mine kidnapped me away to Furfright (Which was being held an hour away) this weekend for a little while Friday and most of Saturday.

Thankfully, drama was little to none, as I had hoped for! Belic throws a great con and the hotel was gorgeous, but it seemed smaller then the previous years I had gone. Probably just because of the larger hotel, because I have heard the attendance was higher then other years.

I fursuited most of the time I was there-- something I've been wanting to do for a while now. Brought Lawrence the collie and my LARP costume. Sadly I couldn't bring Jax since he's skin tight and I've gained quite a bit of weight since I made him. Bleh. Spent the rest of the time chatting with people I hadn't seen in a while, like spunkywulf, youthculture, booboobunnygirl, BlondieHoliday, Fossil, Tony Ringtail and the Con Bear himself, bearknight. Even bumped into twitchwolf and runtt too. Finally got to meet some very talented people I've only seen online, too, like: joecifur, artslavedotbiz, midori8. Even met tilt_longtail, the current owner of the Griefer fursuit I made. He seems to have a BLAST with it, so that makes me feel kinda warm and fuzzy. Same with blairkanine, who is tinier then I thought!

I wound up hanging (ie: parking my crap) in a room full of fursuit builders, who were building suits at the con, and I think it was something I needed. Lately my creative button has been totally burnt out, especially in the way of fursuits, since My backlog just never seems to get smaller. General depression I guess, causing me to get fat, mopey and lazy. But being there, surrounded by suits and watching them work may have fixed that broken button some. Seeing G's snarly and gruesome fursuits has inspired me to make some kind of nasty, uncuddly monster at some point after I finish my commissions. I've been staring at the beautiful heads other builders have made me in need of bodies....

Memorable moments:
PROS:
--a couple random people approaching me to say I was an inspiration for them-- in both art and fursuits. Stuff like that really flatters me, you have no idea.
--Bumping into people I haven't seen in a long time, and just shooting the breeze.
--NO DRAMA. I was always paranoid of the 4chan/internet drama haunting me in public gatherings, but surprisingly there was none. Only one reference to all that...
--but it was funny. I was showing some kid my fursuit portfolio, and he got to the Jax suit. Some drunk guy peeks and goes "lol, there's Jax the bat! The internet s copyright Jax!" To which I reply "Yep, copyright me." boredly, since I was sitting next to the one with the book. That shocked the drunk guy and he said something like "Oh! You're right there! Don't worry, I'm not trying to start anything, I actually think you're pretty cool." Heh heh.
--Chilling with Spunky, Ganny and Blair in Spunky's hotel room and and just chatting for a few hours. Seriously, girl. You flatter me! Make me blush!
--SHORTCON 07'!!!!!!11 spunkywulf, booboobunnygirl, blairkanine and myself had our own mini con in the lobby. Literally! No tall people allowed! It was funny cause we were all in suit and this huge dude wanted a pic with us. Guy had to be like six and a half feet tall.
--I had a couple people approach me in my LARPgear and chat, saying I made their con. My garb is a Skaven from warhammer, so I attracted nerds with it, but it was awesome.
--tilt_longtail is awesome.

CONS: ....Not many.
--The drinking and general sleeze. The latter there wasn't too much of, but I can remember why I was sometimes uncomfortable at cons. ...Too much drinking. Thankfully I didn't have to deal with any of it personally through me or the people I hung with, but there was tons of chatter of bozzing parties and quite a few intoxicated people wandering the con. Meh.
--Armor is HEAVY. Several hours into wearing my LARPsuit, it started to really hurt. Lots of chainmail and the brigadine has metal plates all through it. Oh man, I still ache.
--My friend broke my spear I made for my Larp suit. >(

I only took about 5 pics, but if I'll post what I have in another post and whatever ones I happen to find of my gear. I'm also posting a fursuit commission update post seperate to keep questions out of this one. All and all, a nice, laid back convention.
