Although I do not, in anyway, agree with the actions of our "dear" Health Minister who has a fucking SEX TAPE out, ok, embarassing to the country, but I do agree with him on one thing:
people here have a holier-than-thou attitude.
e.g. 1
If I go into Louis Vuitton/Gucci/Chanel/etc. with jeans & t-shirt and not wearing anything skimpy and not carrying a "I'M SO FUCKING RICH BITCH" attitude and a bitchface...means that I can't afford anything in that store.
Therefore, I'm deemed worthy of any OMG! HUGE EYEBALL stares from the "bitchface + fake raybans" girls and a snob from the salesbitches.
And how is it that even when a girl is carrying a FAKE Louis Vuitton can even give me THE stare? (she was in the shop trying to buy ORIGINAL STRAPS for her FAKE LV, lol)
haha and once I saw a woman in this lousy tracksuit going into Gucci (i think) and everyone in there including the bitchfaces were giving her the stare and after browsing for like 2 seconds she decided on a bag and took out her platinum card to pay for it! amazing 180 degree turnaround from the salespeople who are now, of course, sucking up to her.
I don't know how is it like in other countries but that's how it is like here, in Malaysia Truly Asia. pffft.
e.g. 2
people here cannot play music just for the joy of playing it.
they feel inclined to compete with everyone with grades, exam scores, etc.
they feel so much better than you if they play more instruments than you do (when they're not good at any of it because they concentrated on too much) or if they're in a higher grade.
people have bugged me about joining the stupid KK music festival thing. oh, you're in grade 8, you should join!
a) um, my grade has nothing to do with my desire to join that thing.
b) i don't have the dedication
c) i love playing music, just because i love the music. i play for myself, and no one else (except the occasional examiner, some of my friends, my family and my teacher)
d) i don't like competitions. brings out shit in people.
e) why must your abilities be judged by people? plus it's only like one song, and competitions like this are purely one-dimensional, although I do like to go to concerts or competitions like this just because.

are really material things that important? i feel that malaysians have a tendency to buy stuff with the brand name HUGE-ASS-LY printed EVERYWHERE..
bah.
anyway now that I'm sitting next to Beverly, I can't stand her. She gets so competitive, and if I finish an assignment faster than her, in order to finish quickly too she'll just look at my answers and copy them word-by-word.
dearie if you're so smart you wouldn't be copying other people's answers.
you should've seen her face the other day when I was the only one who got bonus marks from my malay teacher for finishing my work early.
which got wails from Beverly, then my teacher decided to change the deadline.
wtf.
and my god, spare me from her daily dose of body odor. have you ever heard of DEODORANT?
thanks lovelies. for listening to my rants.
happiest moment of the day:
when my family and i were in the car on the way back from dinner and we were talking about the woman who got barged in while she was doing her (i think) no.2 business in the toilet in Yamaha over at City Mall, LOL.
can you just imagine it?
HAHAHAHA.
