Wow, so it's been roughly a year (a little more) since I moved here from Kansas City, Missouri.

Things I desperately miss:

- hannahlecter
- my buddy Aaron
- Tea Drops
- the layout of the Lee's Summit Borders
- grass
- owning gaming consoles
- snow
- long drives between home and Warrensburg, MO
- lax security at the Wal-Mart
- The Weeaboo Store (should've stolen their copies of CLAMP Combination when I had the chance)


Things I would miss about SoCal were I to move back:

- everything
- (except the real estate prices)

1, 2, 3, 7, possibly 6 should come here so that I won't ever have to go back.


I bet you thought I'd have plenty to say about how my life has changed, etc., and I do, but all that was truly interesting was that I pretty much almost got shot that time, and... that's it. My roommie is a lot like my dad. Avatar ended. I still haven't seen Spiderman 3. At some point I became the crazy person who stalks eag.

Pacific Standard Time declares that it is finally October First, making me all of *GASP* twenty years old. Calling my mom to be all, "WISH YOU WERE HERE," now.

Sick days are the worst; here I am polishing off my first box of tissues and watching Spiderman. God. Wondering if it's too late to order phở to go.

Being drunk on plum wine is incredible. Layout(not my coding obviously) still needs a bit of tweaking.

Unnnng when did I move to the floor

Made two simultaneous discoveries: that there's a new Hot Chip album out, and that I left my earphones at home. What are the odds.

The album seems to be getting mixed reviews on last.fm: fans either seem to absolutely love it or hate that everyone else loves it so much. Hoping to be a member of the former group, here.

Though extravagantly expensive, these beautiful headbands(123, or the entire inventory) do much to inspire lust. Insufficient funds prevent me from buying any of them now, but as for the future, we shall see. I'm especially partial to this one and would love to see the feathers and brooch mounted on a comb.

- Feeling a strong desire to be back in cherrycolaisrad's car, blasting NMH while she speeds all the way to Warrensburg and back.

The recently aired final episodes of Avatar were truly brilliant. Words like that get tossed around a lot amongst fans on Livejournal, but to delve into specifics would be entirely uncouth of me; you might as well just watch. As a fan, I feel so lucky to have been able to enjoy something so incredibly fulfilling.

It's still so weird to think that we're now living in a post-Avatar world, though, isn't it?
