He had to walk to the side of the room (my right) to start it, and he walked right past me. It gets better, gang. He walked past me and in the wind he created that whisked past me, I could smell his cologne. It was a strange combination--sweet, but potent, a hint of spiciness to it, a flirtateous spice, almost, and the minute I smelled it, I thought, Oh, my God, that's it. That's what Erik would smell like!

Is it me or is that just a tad weird? I love Michael more than anything but that's just ......odd. I guess I shouldn't talk, I probably would've done worse meaning latching myself onto his leg and refusing to let go until they called security on me....

I used up a whole pad of hotel paper writing this (including the cardboard back) sooooo,yeah lets get to it...
DINNER
(there was a dinner at this hotel before the concert for fan club members)
Where to begin? We walk into the restaurant and the waiter goes "Table for 2?"
Dad-No,we're here with a group.
Waiter-A big party? About 30?
Dad-Uh....
Me-That's it.
W-A Mr.Crawford or something?
Dad& Me-That's it!
W-All the way down and to the left.
We walk down there. Not surprisingly, the seats are filled with old ladies. The youngest person (besides me) was like 24,25. The two old ladies at the second table looked at me like "Okaaaaaay...."
Luckily, we sat down next to another family-a mom and 2 daughters. There were only 3 guys there,including Dad (although, the lady we sat next to said that Michael's more comfertable with guys and he's shy.) So anywho, we introduce oursleves and they do the same. The mom's name was Kathy, I don't remember the younger daughters name (she was the one I talked to the most,oddly enough!) the older daughters name was Erin (she liked hair bands).
So we talked. A lot. Errr,well I talked..a lot.
Daughter #1-Is this your first time seeing Michael?
Me-Yes.
Random Lady- Michael virgins.
(she might've been talking about someone else,but i like that term)
We kept talking.
D#1-Are you in high school?
Me-No, middle school, 7th grade.
D1-Ah! THat's when I started to like him too!
LATER......
Kathy-How did you hear about Michael?
Me-Um,Phantom. I wanted to know who was on my CD so I typed in "Phantom of the opera original cast" and his name was there!
LATER....
Kathy is in charge of.....something at the MCIFA and pulls out this bag and says "Would you like to enter a drawing for $10?"
Dad-What's the prize
Kathy-Signed Barnum video.
They tried to rig it so I would win.
We talked about school and Michael and theatre. The conversations were really long. Kathy said if I wanted anything signed, to send it to the California address and she'd get it signed for me. What to send?

THE CONCERT
This was a big event! THere were news crews and newspapers and the mayor was there. They even had a red carpet! Inside, they had this ribbon across the stage and when they cut it glitter and confetti fell all over the place. I took a lot of it off the floor. THe concert didn't start untill 8:00. My legs were shaking SOOOOOOOOOOO bad. Then they said "Ladies and gentlemen, Mr.Michael Crawford!" And my eyes got huge and I hugged dad's arm like he was going to come out and eat us all or something.

Lovely Ladies ~ I could’ve done with out it. It was funny to people who hadn’t heard it but…hrm.



Fantine’s Arrest ~ Ohhh! She spit in Valjean’s face!!! And then they carried her body off like she was dead…



The Run Away Cart~ That was one big cart. Think it’s made of cardboard so he can lift it?



Who am I? ~ Ah! Awesome! 24601!



Come to Me ~ Joan was pretty good. I didn’t like the fact that Randal walked away from her, a little insincere.



Confrontation- I love this song! Robert looked lovely in his police suit, especially without the hat. The transition is weird, because Javert’s knocked out on the floor and Fantine’s dead… a little odd. But they really ran around her bed a lot… A lot.



Castle on a Cloud- That is one big broom for such a little Cosette. Little Eponine was like “Ahem, the brat’s still there.”


Master of the House ~ Funny, I laughed as much as I could because I knew there wouldn’t be much humor later. Lots of boob grabbing. What? It’s the truth!



Well Scene ~

JVJ- Tell me my child, what is your name?

Cosette- I’m called Cosette.

JVJ-Cosette?!

Cosette-Yup.

JVJ- Oh yeah! I hit the jackpot!

OK,that’s not what happened but that’s what it looked like!



The Bargain~Randal is so…paternal. Norman and Jennifer are wonderful at being evil!

Look Down~ Gavrouche seemed a little nervous, but what they hey! He’s cute. ‘Ponine looked nothing like her picture.



Stars- Robert is lovely, and so were the Christmas lights (stars) behind him.



Red and Black~ Trent (Grantaire) hilarious, and Daniel deserves some….something…for being a non-conceited Marius. A true marvel…




Do You Hear the People Sing? ~ How many hot guys with good voices can you cram in one revolution?



In My Life~ Leslie, hrm, were you nervous honey? Because, the beginning wasn’t that good for you sweetie. Love ya’ anyway.



A Heart Full of Love- Marius tried to climb back over the gate on “I’m doing everything all wrong.”

The Attack on Rue Plumet~ Norman and Melissa deserve major credit.



One Day More~ Wow, wow, I-wow. What really amazed me was what my friend calls ‘silent acting’. JVJ gives Cosette the doll and she’s like “Umm, I don’t like dolls…that much…” and he’s putting his books in the trunk and he was looking at them like “Oh yeah, that was a good story!” Wowie.






ACT 2

The lettery Song- JVJ and 'Ponine looked like they were trying to hide from one another.

On My Own ~ Belt it Melissa!!!!

Little People ~ Hee,hee, cute. I didn't like the fact that they took out "THough we met not all survive here there are things that never die..."etc.

A little fall of Rain ~ The little girl sitting behind me goes "I didn't like her 'cause she was jealous." Hmmm,MAJOR Cosette fan.

First Attack - Dumb sniper up in the box! They kept shooting off...those really loud thingys that are meant to be gun shots. I jumped everytime.

Drink With Me~ Ahh,school boys. And wine. And Marius full of angst. What more do you want?

Bring Him Home ~ Good.I mean...good! I'm amazed at how still everyone in the background stood!!

A little thing called death ~ I dont know what this thing is called. It's when you get to look at the numerous dead bodies on the barricade. I cried. Enjolras looked so...dead....makes sense,right? I wonder how many times Marius got hit the head when JVJ pulled him into the sewer. And,even though I knew he wasn't feeling depressed, I couldn't help but feel bad for Javert. All alone with corpses and he can't catch his man cause the dumb sewer lid wont open. Aww....

Dog Eats Dog ~ Never had been a favorite. Loved the set.

Javert's Suicide ~ The whole bridge shook when he stepped over it. There has to be a better why to do that scene than have him thrshing around on the floor with blue lights on him.

Turning- *shrug*

Empty Chairs at Empty Tables ~ GO DANIEL! This boy can belt it!!!

Every Day ~ Watch out! Cosette's hitting a high note! A painful-to-your-ears high note.

Beggars at the Feast ~ Again, laughed as much as I could, espeacilly with the next scene. Funny, espeacilly when the silver wear fell out of her dress.

FINALE ~ Having just finished the book this wednesday, I was amazed how much Randal acted like the Valjean in the book. Sweet and sad and reassuring.

You are going to cry after you read this sad story. A sister and her brother were inside the new Walmart built in town. The sister at six years of age,the brother seventeen years of age. The
brother was fixing to buy a present for his little sister on her birthday, but as soon as they were fixing to leave she had to go to the bathroom. Her brother showed her where it was, he started to look at some earrings she would probably like
for her next birthday. As he started to buy them he saw people running from the end of the store screaming and yelling with fear.Before he new it
he smelled smoke and saw fire, he ran to his little sister as fast as he could but when he got to the bathrooms they were already on fire. He new he had to get out as fast as
he could to get help. But when the firetrucks arrived it was already to late. Two days later the family got a call from the hospital saying they have someone there by the name of Sandy.They asked "How did you get
this number"? The hospital said she was holding a purse in her hand with a card that said her name and number on it. The family drove to the hospital to see their little angel. While they looked at her, they noticed her arms were almost all the way burnt off, and her face was so burned it needed surgery. But the family didn't have enough to cover the bill. So now they need you to help out!

So yesterday while flipping through this little magazine-ish thingy that comes in the paper every Thursday,I looked at the audition page (like I do every thursday-i live a very repetivetive-oh,however you spell it! life...)Usually there's nothing interesting, but I look anyway-they mgiht need someone to sweep up toe nails (it would be a start...) Anyway,so I was looking and I saw a listing that said: 
Celebrate Kids!!!- National Freedoms Foundation Award Winning Youth,ages 4-18, 4 p.m. Sundays through April 9th for Wicked,Spamalot,The Producers, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Hairspray and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat; bring a prepared song and tape,CD or sing a capella.
So I'm gonna take a gamble and go-what have I got to lose? I gave them a call ,got a message,but I'm hoping they'll call back......
My problem? What song....the only sheet music and singerless CD I own is Wicked. And form my knowldge,you can't sing a song from the musical you're auditioning for. But then I was thinking, they're doing other musicals, would I be okay? So that's what I'm asking you,would I be alright singing a song from Wicked??? On the other hand I have 'The Secret Garden' Sheet music on researve and if EVERYTHING fails I have a disney karaoke CD...so I just need some help...Thanks.
