(Gundam SEED: Dearka x Millie, Sai x Millie): Lies
Title: Lies

This is actually a set of 3 drabbles from 3 POVs.
Lies
Millie
Sai bought her flowers one day. He wasn't sure what kind she liked, he told her nervously. She laughed and told him anything was OK.
Millie doesn't tell Sai that she associates flowers with that sunny day in a gardenia garden on PLANT and how she passionately kissed a blonde pilot with a dark complexion and a charming smile.
She smiled a little too brightly at him, fingering the petals. "Tulips. My favourite kind."
But when she held the bunch of tulips close to her face, she couldn't help but notice that tulips didn't have the sweet smell of gardenias.

Dearka
PLANT and Earth are not the only two places to enjoy peace after the second war.
Dearka's relationship with his father has also improved remarkably, especially after that last promotion.
So when Ted Elthman asks him about happened to that Natural girl he once dated, Dearka laughs her off, dismissing Millie as a mistake of his youthful past. He knows better now, Dearka assures him. Ted does not notice that his son avoids meeting his eyes when he says this.
Rose Elthman frowns. Her son has become fond of lying after losing Millie and she doesn't like it one bit.

Sai
Ever since Millie got together with him, Sai has been living in bliss. For once in his life, he didn't draw the short straw.
She's beautiful, strong, independent. Admittedly very similar to Fllay in many ways but Millie has none of Fllay's selfishness or pettiness. And she's faithful.
He wonders what it was about him that drew her to him though. He knows about Dearka, of course, but all Millie will say is she likes Sai because he does not "interfere with her life".
Sai hopes that he doesn't wake up one day only to find it all a lie.

Author's notes: This will be part of a longer series inspired by the *sobs* tragic events of episode 27, the long term (and I mean, LONG term) aim being to bring Dearka and Millie back together. There is an overall plan to things but I will not necessarily be posting the future stories in chronological order.
