Well, I guess all I *did* get for my sent in artwork was the couple NP in a random event. And some boosts for Zaffy day. I don't battle too much, but it would be nice to rise above all those losses from the CHIA CLOWN!! Liz thought Neopets was like "Pokémon" and you mostly battle your pets... I was the only pet at the time to battle....
Liz signed onto her foster side to check for Neomails (she usually only signs in once or twice a week because begging n00bs are so stressful, and it makes her "migranes worse!" What's a "migrane?"). By chance she saw a Brown Wocky that was a low enough level to adopt on a side younger than 4 months, so she did, but got a rather well-written Neomail in return from the old owner:
Ah. Well, I was trying to transfer Muffy, but since you found her... It's alright, I guess. She should get a better home, her petpage was under a lot of construction anyway. It was finished at one point, but my sister had it all deleted. x_x Anyway, I already adopted another painted wocky-Sango-in her place. If you need any help the adoption thing, I've got a bunch of free accounts I can use to help with. -Samme
The brown Wocky? It was just luck that I could adopt her on a side too young for most others! I saw 2 kois, a Christmas Tuskaninny, and a Striped Uni, all of which I couldn't adopt because of my side's age!
If you read Herrine's petpage, I do a rigerious screening before letting foster pets go, trying to assure a "forever home" where they will not be labbed or pounded again, loved. ("hi i red ur paeg n yeh i need ur hiisi" will NEVER recieve a pet from me!) But I also will help an owner in a case like this, were I interrupted a transfer. I have a Draik on my main account, and I would want the same diginity if I ever lost Forgotten_mists!
If would like her back, as you read to her quite a bit and made the effort to find me (neomails were blocked on my side because I want ALL inquires to go to one account, so I don't log in to transfer the pet to the "only" person interested/that made the best impression, and see I have another requests for the same pet, now spoken for, as well as fully banning l337 speakers), I can set up an IM-guided transfer to try to help you move her back onto your account. I usually post my finds to livejournaldotcom/~pick_a_pet, but due to migranes I have not been able to post her as available. She's yours again if you'd like her!
