I really hate what I am doing now, but I still do it because I think it is the right thing to do, and I'll try not to be overly dramatic.

Earlier today I saw what I thought a friend unfairly under attack, so I tried to defend her to the best I could, in best knowledge and intention and all that. Now I assume the people reading this here already know this but for completeness sake I mention it, in 2001 I was Administrator and general Techie at the CBB Board where both Rhyein and Flash (Flashman) are registered. After the accusations of him being just an invention of hers I went back to the CD backups I still have from that time, after all even when the IPs are about two and a half years old they still should have proved that they post from different locations, I know that this could be spoofed too but knowing Rhyeins technical ability from that time or the lack thereoff I doubted it. Anyways I looked up a couple of old server files and found the following:

IPs and timestamps in unix time, its all there.

Now it isn't completely unexpected that they might have used the same PC once but all the posts are quite some time apart and without exeption they all are made from the same IP adress. The one starting with 129 is from the BGSU where Rhyein goes to college the other I can only guess is her home IP range.

In addition the first two lines I quoted are made on septemer 10 (Flash) and September 11 (Rhyein) respectively, I let everyone draw their own conclusions of this.

Mine are that I indeed have let myself been fooled about the existence of Flashman for years.

This is terrible. I feel like a fool at first, but that is what liars exist for. Liars exist to create humility in others. Of course then I feel angry, because I spent many hours paying respects to an idea, a place to mourn my innocence. Everything has been tarnished this way. She told me a story, along with this other user, maliceshaw, about how flashman was in this college or high school production of Rocky Horror Picture Show, starring as Dr. Frankenfurter. How he did the whole thing inebriated. After that I felt like I had a piece of someone's memory, that I was helping another person grieve by letting them share personal memories. I know this would have been great if it were real because it always helped me after my stepmother died. However, it was false. I feel .. betrayed and robbed. Hey Bubba, this is Adrianne (aka Ellie, Ellone, etc. etc.). I know I'm a little too late but I just learned about this from Eve (who incidentally, visited my blog, and commented there). I was completely..... in UTTER.... shock. I'm currently writing a very long entry regarding the issue in my blog right now (http://log.funyaraga.net). On the other hand, I also do need to apologize... I know I have moved on myself on to new things and that I may have neglected CBB but I never neglected any of my friends. It's just that I'm hardly around or that I'm always busy with so many things that I just didn't have time to chat w/ anyone, plus some of you I don't see on AIM anymore. I have changed my sn but I made note of this to everyone months ago--- mamechan no ai--- and yet no one but Eve and Rhye (yes, Rhye) was the only one who spoke to me. Anyhow,, that's beside the point... Two years---- two dang years and all this time we've been living a lie... I know that people lie for a reason, but this has got to be the most painful lie I have ever lived. I never got along w/ "Flash" for some odd reason and sometimes I even wondered how he and Rhye almost had the same personality when they're pissed... and all this time, they were all in one in the same. Right now I don't know how I feel in regards to her and what she have done. I probably would've just let go of "Flash" right then but since she used the evil tragedy of 9/11, how can I ever forget that?! So all this time other than grieving for the lives lost at that day, we've been grieving in CBB for someone who never existed??
