21 of many personae | Be your true mind. You saved my bacon! [21 Aug 2007|11:02am] Unofficial/unintentional hiatus over! I just got really lazy. But not much has happened since my last update. As usual. I read HP7, went to Otakon, went on vacation with gatochat and fishy_pooser and got a copy of Persona 3. The dialogue for the localization is pretty awesome and everyone actually sounds like they could actually be in high school. (Vic is the best Junpei ever) I'm curious, what'd you guys name your protagonist? I named him Lupin. Remus Lupin. shut up. I'm contemplating not going to the Tatarus during full moons, but hey, it's better than when I named him Tsukikage Harusaki to abuse the kanji in Japanese. I am cooler than that now. Slightly. I've yet to see High School Musical 2, which is sadness, but being able to completely understand P3 will keep me happy. Oh, and I made Lupin/Tonks art. (concrit, please?) Hands, hands, hands, I have an issue with hands. I think I'm getting a little better in general...at least, I'm trying to. I've definitely been making a lot of HP and P3 sketches (many of which will never see the Internet. Ever.) And now, back to consoling Susie who keeps getting Mudo'd but somehow keeps evading it. Oh, now she's being harassed by soul dancers. Maybe she should STOP SPLITTING UP. It's all about teamwork.

26 of many personae | Be your true mind. I just wonder what Ganon's up to. [09 Jun 2007|11:42pm] I guess my hiatus is finally up! Either that, or I'm feeling a little less lazy now. Except I really am that lazy and this post won't have much interesting content, mostly some boring art! ( I suppose Digital Devil Saga in itself is pretty interesting, as well as Eureka seveN and Xenosaga as usual ) I can't remember if I ever linked this year, but I did participate in count2hk and I didn't hate what I submitted. This was my original idea, but I didn't think it was Chain of Memories/KH2 enough. Other than that, I changed my layout; it now has a header. Still sucks as much as usual, though. broken_melodie. Persona 3, yay. Critique on anything is always welcomed.

I got sick yesterday and ended up going home, but I tried to put my time to good use by reviewing some things and I'm pretty sure I'll be well enough tomorrow to do my best on the test. Part of me thinks I can do really well, the other part of me says I'll get a 1. Oh well, I won't know until I try. At the very least, whatever points I may lose on the essay section might be counterbalanced by my multiple choice score. I can do this. I can do this. I can do this. I can do this. I can do this. I should've done that a while ago, seeing how many times I've updated publically since March D: Anyway, I've got -exams (dreaded AP World) -English books to annotate (Great Expectations and a bunch of things I SparkNoted read earlier in the year without much thought) -Project Enlightenment (18th century reenactment, oh yeah.) -heavy duty house apartment cleaning cleaning (18 boxes of things from Massachusetts that we need to sort through and/or give away) If April was awkward then May will just be one massive OTL. [08 Feb 2007|08:52pm] Lulz. *so fails at finishing personal projects* *only because this one involved drawing >.>* Basically I'm almost done with the main part of my Peony cosplay (read: pants and shirt |D), so next week is all about the smaller yet still very annoying little things: that blue not!blanket around his waist, the hair jewel and that lorelei-forsaken belt/hip-adornment. I'm thinking cardboard on that last one |D Yeah I'm really posting to get any ideas xD I still need to fabric paint the shirt and fix up the pants, but that'll be done by this weekend. I'm so exciiiited. Whee~ Er...sorry this journal's gotten more boring than usual. ;;; I;m actually a bit stressed out but making this costume is a really fun escape. I'm still worried about some other things, but I can't wait for Katsucon. Well, I actually can, but only to get this done :)

But here it is xD ( XIII days until Valentine's Day ) Convenient because February has 13 days before Valentine's day and there are 13 members in this particular...Organization...*lame* Of course everyone's excited for this super hearty heart filled holiday. Everyone has sekrit planz. Gimme ideas D: EDIT: Das Phantom der Opera (I think that's how it'd be translated) is pretty interesting. All musicals sound better in German. WHAT FUN. ...D: I think my score will go down this year...My essay was definitely weak, as I realized as soon as I'd used up all of my paper that there was so much more I'd wanted to say. It was made more nerve racking by this event. (chaos's pants werent the subject of my essay but I can't really talk about it so I'll go with the best essay topic evar. And shadap, I totally put effort into my drawings. *Max attention span: 10 minutes*) Seriously, how could I have forgotten to make sure that I had the right lead for the pencil? But apparently half a stick of .7 mm lead is good enough for all 10 sections, so it was aaaall good. I also remembered the skip whatever I was unsure of, so I think I saved some points... Also, Souya, I needa get those notes organized because a lot of it is stuff I randomly wrote down when I made the shocking connections xD I'm missing Yumee's recital, which really sucks because I wanted to see it D8 Best of luck though~ You play well, so I hope you aren't/weren't nervous :)
