Have you seen this?

I did the logo for it, as I think something comics needs is a site like IMDB. So far so good, although they still seem pretty far from completion.

interesting

Europe has this (below) version that I'm sure you've seen. It sticks to artists though.
Never saw this site.
Does one, add one's self?
Is that correct english?

Between this and GCD - The Grand Comic Book Database and UHBMCC - The Unofficial Handbook of Marvel Comics Creators and The Big Comic Book Database and CBDB - The Comic Book Database, it's getting out of hand.

Can we just get a non-profit organization to swallow them all and have a giant unified database? Would that be too much to ask?

Not really too much to ask at all. In fact, it feels some days as if Wikipedia's already partway there to my mind.

The site looks good. It's nice to see more comic sites turning up well designed, and lacking the WHAM! BLAMMO! style that's prevailed for so long.

It's never going to be complete, either, is it ? ;)

probably not.

good stuff; the kerning is the kicker for me.

And yes, an IMDB for comics would be wonderous. For comics journos especially. Write now it's a hop and a jump between www.cbdb.com, www.comics.org, and calling up a comics retailer I know in GA with a mind the size of the texarkana.

I think a site that could do it would be The Comics Price Guide. At least, if more people would submit writers and artists. With quantity and cover scans alone, I generally go there.
