| Empty World |

White background, black tree, black chain trim. I know everyone loves the red, but I'm throwing these in there just because it says "Empty World" to me.
Same as above except with a light grey background.
The current favorite. Blood red background, gold tree, and gold chain trim.
Exactly the same as above except with a red border.
Lastly the variety wildcard, a deep rust-colored background with a gold tree and sort of mustard border. I thought it looked neat. :P

| Tabards |

These two are the closest to the actual Blue Gate Rune I could find:
I think the second one looks better on the actual tabard as the first becomes more circular and, well, flowerrific. x_X I do like the first one better before it's warped.
These next two I like just because. :P
Unfortunately, there's already a guild on Hellscream called Storm Guard with almost the exact same tabard and I'm not sure the stars really fit in with Blue Gate, so maybe these would be better considered for Empty World.
These next two are THE ones I was considering for Empty World.
I have loved that tree since I first saw it and the other one just reminds me of the creature that's summoned with the spell. I don't know what the most used icons are for Medivh Horde though, so that might alter how I feel about any of them.
Feel free to play around with the tabard vendor. The dark blue background is my preference for everything, but I realize some may not want dark blue tabards for both Alliance and Horde so I'll need suggestions. I also tend to favor a more muted border and an in-your-face (white) icon, but again that's personal preference.
Here are a few more to consider.
The two creatures could represent the two halves of the Gate Rune, maybe. O_o
This one reminds me of the first spell with the many-tailed fox.
I know radish thinks this one is lame, but I still think the "ribs" are cool. :P
I have no idea what this is, but it's different.
