So we're in my cousin's aprtment in Seattle. She has a nice place, but she's like uberly stressed cause she has to write lab reports grants or whatever cause she needs to revise something.

She specializes in immunology and stuff, you know, that section in Bio that I totally failed. T cells and the like.

We're gonna go to pikes market, see the space needle and go to all the tourist traps.

Yups. It's not bad, I'm back in civilized lands anyways.

So...our car broke down.

We are now stuck in Fairbanks.

GAWD FREAKING DAMNIT!

And they are currently having a heat wave. And no hotel has an AC in Alaska. So we're just sweltering in a super insulated hotel.

And our car is dead. This sucks so freaking badly.

Anyways, we went to Denali yesterday and we went to the sled dog kennels! OMG they are so freaking cute! The puppies were soooo cute! I want a doggie! And they were all so excited when they got to pull the sleds. The dogs were running to the sled to pull it, and the dogs that didn't get chosen to pull were just barking and whining and standing on platforms to see the other dogs pull the sled. And they dogs that were pulling were barking and wagging their tails so much.

Whoever said sled dogs are being abused haven't seen these dogs.

But other than that, Denli isn't that interesting unless you pay a lot of money. You can only drive your car so far into the park, if you want to go anymore, you'll have to ride either a tour bus of a shuttle bus. Both which are ridiculously expensive. Like 20 bucks a person for a shuttle, and 90 dollars per person for a tour bus.

So freaking expensive.

We didn't ride them...yet. We just visited the kennels and tried to see Denali mountain.

It was covered in clouds.

Anyways, since our car is dead, we have to wait for it to be repaired. Sooo lame. And we're dishing out 150 bucks to stay in a hotel while waiting for it to be fixed...

Thank goodness for cable tv and internet.

Be grateful that we have paved roads guys.

Seriously, we drove 100 miles of unpaved hella bumpy roads and it sucked. It took like 4 hours cause we were going at like 30 mph cause it was so damn bumpy.

And Dawson city is like lame. Jack London's cabin isn't even his cabin. They just found the logs from his ORIGINAL CABIN and rebuilt it.

How lame.

Well, we're currently in Fairbanks, and it's actually pretty hot here. 82 degrees, and it's like one hour back from our usual time.

And the sun, I swear, never ever freaking sets in the summer. It's driving me insane! I can't take this much freaking sunlight!

Oh, we saw a live moose today! It was female! Erm yeah.

OH YEAH! Yesterday morning at Whitehorse, when we went into the visitor's center, I saw an advertisement for the Whitehorse ANIME CLUB! I loled so freaking hard at it.

And when we were living in...Watson Lake I think, they have this place called the Sign Forest which is like this huge collection of signs of hometowns brought from visitors. Like, the place was so huge I got lost in it. Anyways, on the San Jose sign, I saw "Uke is good"

And I loled really hard at that too.

Then today when we were driving around, I saw a guy with a bumper sticker of "Got Anime?" And I loled really hard too. I swear, anime's like a freaking virus or something...

Yeah. We're currently living in a nice cheap hotel, with like 3 rooms including the bath room.

It has a TV room with a couch! So cool! Yups.

Hmm...w another bear, it got REALLY close to us and it crossed the road towards us. It was also a bit bigger than the others that we saw. We also saw a caribou.

Hmm, went to Skagway and then Whitehorse yesterday, and we camped there, except we set up our tent in a crappy place and it flooded in the middle of the night cause it was pouring rain.

I woke up cold, wet, tired and hungry. I now know true misery.

Cause we then had to struggle to dismantle our tent in the rain.

...it sucked.

Today we hit Dawson City, we're gonna go see Jack London's cabin tomorrow. Should be interesting.

So I was working for the Dark Religious Order from D. Gray man as a Finder. And the two Exorcists I was working with got killed my Tyki Mikk and some Akumas. But I got taken prisoner to be questioned and then I started growing horns and wings and turned into a devil.

You know like Dietrich from Trinity Blood. And I was ike an unawakened demon with genes from the devil. Like the Noahs.

And then I had another dream that our people went to mars and brought back a bacteria that infected us, but UNLIKE trinity blood, we didn't got cool Methuselah powers. We died.

Yeah.

Erm, Canada is wet and cold and rainy. I don't like it here. I keep getting bitten by mosqitous.

It's REALLY cold here. Feels like CA winter...

So we are right now in a place called...Watson Lake in the Yukon province.

I saw a red fox today. It made me happy.

I also saw 7 black bears and one grizzly cub. I also saw tons of bisons and sheep, an elk and two dead moose.

It's not as boring anymore cause now there's more wildlife.

Then I saw another dead moose. So yeah. Dude, cold coin showers suck so bad. And When we exchange 100 USD of Canadian dollars, we end up with 98 something in CD's. Even though our dollar is still slightly greater.

And Canada is so big and empty. And all their fruits are imported from the US.

And Canada is still awesome. Cause their TV isn't stupidly censored like US's. There's more human rights stuff and more care in the country than in the US. Like, people here still care about that indonisian Tsunami from like outh 8th grade...

It sucks here. But at least it has internet connection. I mean, the showers keep turning freezing cold every once in a while...

But it's still good. We've been camping for the last several days and it's nice to have lights, no bugs, internet connection that's not fail and a tv and a bed and good showers.

Canada is so pretty! Well, British Columbia is pretty. The towns here are all really really small and stuff. And it's really empty here. There are like barely any people around...

It's really cold though. Like 50 degrees...And I end up waking freezing everytime we camp. When we get to Alaska, we'd better nt be camping...but the hotels are all so expensive!

Anyways, the road trip is pretty but the driving is pretty boring. Like 10 hours a day. I'm sick of sitting in the car! And there's really not much to do besides stare out the window!

So today. I finished reading the novel.

AND OMG SO GOOD! But cause it's kinda badly translated. I mean, Reborn on THE Mars?

And stuff about Radu drooling blood from his lips. NO, you don't drool blood. Blood trickles down from your mouth. You don't DROOL IT!

It gave me a bad mental image at a touching part. Yeah. Pissed me off.

But OMG DIETRICH YOU LOVABLE BASTARD! You are such a jerk! But so cool at the same time!

And stuff confused me. So in the novel, they said Ion was the size of a 3 or 4 year old human child. But then proceed to describe how much Ester found him handsome.

So there are three possibilities:
1) Ester is a pedophile. (Unlikely)
2) Ion is a hot midget. (Unlikely)
3) It was a typo and Ion is supposed to be 13 OR 14 (VERY likely)

Anyways, I LOVE how they kept describing Dietrich as a devil or beautiful angel. They had all these bible quotes about how beautiful Lucifer actually seemed despite the fact he was evil. And kept comparing him with Dietrich. But Dietrich isn't evil!

He's misguided! And completely amoral and sadistic.

...Well if his family hadn't tried to kill him. Well...I mean he was born evil but still. WHATEVER! Dietrich is cool!

YES! Done with finals, tomorrow's the last day.

Today was hella boring. In Chinese, we had nothing to do for 2 hours. Then Vincent broke out cards so we played a bit. But then we stopped so I just listened to music for the rest of the time.

In Myth, that was hella fun. So we were supposed to have our final, except Robert was late, and we didn't want to start without him and screw him over. So we argued his case for Javier (cause Robert drives to school and the parking lot's messed up today) and he let us wait. Yes our class is awesome, we stick up for one another. Then we decided to play a prank on him, so when he walked in, Javier said "Times up" and we all walked up to turn in out blank papers in.

And then we watched Javier mess around with Robert and let him think he missed the final and was screwed. Then we told him and had a good laugh.

Yeps, I'm seriously gonna miss my class. So anyways, our final was easy and my grade pumped back up after for story and project. I got A's on both. Yay. But I don't think it'll be enough to bring it up to an A...Final was only worth 100 points...

Either way, for the rest of the period we just played cards. Egyptian war, and Big 2 and Mao.

I hate Mao, it is the stupidest game ever and I do not get it. I kept getting penalized for random crap. I even got penalized for general suckiness.

I suck at that game.

But oh man, Egyptian war was seriously a war. So Robert, Alina and I were HELLA competitive and we were so into the game we were practically killing one another with slaps and shizz. And everyone else was like O.O "backing away now..."

I lost, And Robert ended up winning. But Alina put up a hell of a fight to the very end. I swear, that one game killed 30 minutes or so.

Lol, nice meeting people who got really into the game, burned up so much time. And it was so fun. Robert is hilarious, I AM seriously gonna miss myth class.

Ok...I AM bored. I have NOTHING to do.

It's so BORING!

...so I have no clue how I randomly remember this. Oh yeah, so during Bio, I was talking to Katherine about manga recs cause she she was reading some Korean Manhwa and she kept telling me to read D. Gray-man. Which I will...eventually. Anyways, we got on the topic of where we would visit if we could.

So me and Bernice wanna visit Germany and East Europe. And the other's were like, "Why? What's there to see?"

Um, my rather semi morbid response was, I want to see the concentration camps. See, I usually have to see stuff with my own eyes for something to sink in. I want to see the amount of deaths and the places where people lost their lives for it to hit me. I want to see it and to have the realization hit my so hard so that I'll sink to my knees and go "oh my god". Or whatever.

...And everyone else was like..."Ok...good for you, no thanks. I'd rather read about it in a book."

Well, at least Bernice gets it. I mean, it's one thing to read about a ton of people dying and another to see the place where people died.

...like that child rape case I was saw on Job Shadow. I mean, in the back of my head, I knew, Child rape=bad. But when I saw that girl up there, crying when she's telling about what happened, it really hit me.

Or when we went to the murder scene and Denise showed us photos of the victim with that huge gut wound and intestines coming out. It hit me, about killing and murder. It's not like stories you read in books or see in movies. It's real. And what was worse was that, in the picture, the guy's eyes was wide open staring. And you know deep inside, that this guy died. He died because he had money, and other people wanted it. Why did they want money? For meth.

...yeah this post is pretty emo, but sad music makes me write emo posts.

But yeah, I'm really really glad we're in such a sheltered little bubble with town curfews and not even public drunkenness. I mean sure I get frustrated that nothing interesting ever happens here, but it's safe.

And when my family goes on road trips, we drive though lots of different places, and make stops at lots of different places. I see lots of different places. I've seen towns with like 200 people and everyone knew we were outsiders (aside from the fact we were asian and obviously stood out), I've been to places where we were discriminated against and that's why I don't want to go on this trip this summer.

Going to Alaska, it's like...I don't really want it. I KNOW every stop we make on the way, we'll be stared at, it's happened before and I hate it. I hate it when people stare at me. I hate it when people treat me different. And my parents wonder why my brother and I always hole myself up in the car/tent/hotel room.

I guess they're just braver than me, they can go out there and brave stares, and whispers and pointed fingers and odd looks. Sometimes even outright discrimination, poor service and the like.

Ok yeah, I'm self conscious. I mean, it'd be easier if we traveled with a group of people, like friends, but my dad always insist on making these just family trips. And we don't even invite our cousins, not that they would want to come either way. So it's weird.

It's just like what happened in Taiwan too. People know I'm not from around. That's why I was so eager to go out and buy Taiwan clothes so I wouldn't stand out. That's why I never spoke chinese much out in public cause then they would know that I was a foreigner.


...yeah. I'm pathetic. Whatever.

OMG I love this youtuber! She makes all these awesome manga pic slideshow videos. I guess there's a whole TB community dedicated to making these kinds of vids...and it's like evolved into some sort of art form? They were talking about different styles and stuff...and techniques. Wow.

And I just found out that Caterina joins Rosencreuz Orden...duuur WHAT? WHY? I must know!

And Abel, Cain and Seth as little kids are too cute. Cain is pretty though...except when he turns into Crusnik form. Then his hair poofs up. But he looks better than Abel, who's whole hair just sticks up and looks ugly.

Erm yeah. I'm too obsessed, but that's ok. I have the whole summer to get over it.
