hate to ruin it for any one who was thinking about seeing it, but i want you to be forewarned. it IS a horror Zombie movie masked as a sci-fi movie. but it IS a zombie movie. only go see it if you like zombie movies or else you'll be disappointed. |

it has rocked harder then any other movie this year and prolly last year too and perhaps a few years before that. THIS should have been the big matt groening block buster release of the year. the best friggin movie of the year and it only came out on dvd! go buy it and watch it now! i comand thee!!! if this movie was the SERIS ender, i would be completely satisifed. it wrapped things up in a way that few seris enders do, but it's not even a seris ender, it's a renewaly reopener!!!!!!!!!!!! i can't wait for the new seris now!!!! |

hey all,
i'm having a general games night on friday the 14th(except the over played magic the gathering and settlers of catian). if any of you are interested, let me know and i'll send you the details.
also, on satruday the 15th i'm running a sid miejer's advanced civiliazation game. it's a fun game, but it DOES take all day. starting at noon and prolly playing until midnight with a dinner break of course. only 8 ppl can play and there's only a few slots left. let me know if you interested. |

| COME TO CONVERSATIN THIS WEEKEND!! |

what is converation? a relaxacon. a convention with no programming. so basically, a HUGE hotel party!!! it's this weekend(27-29th) in novi michigan at the crown plaza(use to be the double tree). every one i have asked if there comming and they said no is because of $$. it's a relaxacon ppl!!!! it's CHEAP! unlike other cons, conversation's room block does not effect if the con gets a break on function space. so we don't care if you get a room or not! a day memeber ship is JUST $15!!($30 for the weekend) that includes swimming, dance, hot tub, food, gamming, open cola, all the soda you can drink(sorry no beer budget yet), and party all night long!! for just $15! how is that expensive? most ppl spend more then that on bringing stuff to a party! so come on down for a night or 2 and have fun!!!

| review of buffy the musical sing along and transformers |

so had some recent outings i wanted to share with folks. went to transformers. if you like the orginal transformers at all, you will LOVE the new movie. what little they changed, made since, moved the plot along, and didn't dishonor the orginal. my only REAL complaint was camera work. if the battle field was the size of an 8.5x11 peace of paper, the camera was zoomed into the size of a qauarter and stayed there the entire time. it's like WOW guys, zoom the camera out! other then that, it was great. good plot, great cgi, good humor, good chartecter devolopment, and good villians to fight. left open for a sequel, but not to the point it left plot holes that would only be filled by a sequel.
went to see buff the musical(http://uncoolkids.com/buffy/) at main art theater in royal oak with some freinds on saturday. i've seen it done at cons many times before, but this was better in lots of ways. still cons still had lots to offer too though. i think some merging of the 2 would be good. this is diffently becomming more and more like rocky. there's props and call backs and they have the words to sing along too. marcon's copy is diffently much better in terms of how the lyrics are layed out on the screen. if any one knows any of the marcon buffy ppl, deffently would love to talk to them. i lost their email. the uncoolkids production doesn't have a live cast, but it was still great fun and there was lots more then just the musical. they had lots of bonus stuff before the main eposiod. there's another showing in ann arbor on sept 7th. i'm going and i'm dragging every one i can with me. even if you weren't fan of the show, i think you'll have a great time (: lots of ppl have been converted to buffy fans from buffy the musical (: |

to day is friday the 13th, and that's a good day to me. it's always been a lucky day. megan was born on a fright the 13th (:
so this morning, i got off work REALY realy. we some times don't get off the 2nd day until about 5 or 6. today, we got off at 3:30. which ment i got to drive home and get some sleep
when i get home, what did i find in my mail?!?1
MY DEGREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that's right, i now offically have an assoc degree! yah me.
and it's only 6:30 am. wonder how much more lucky i can get today (: |

hey all,
i've been busy with marscon and job stuff and haven't been able to post about my new job. It is doing telecommuications wireing. aka, i pull wire for voice and data through buildings and wire it up. it's mostly around michigan, but some travel involved. like this and next week i'll prolly be in fort wayne indiana. i'll try to post a head of time so i can meet up with any locals i know. mostly for the rest of this year we will be rewiring gaps, banana republics, and old navy's. These involve STARTING work at 8pm. so most likely, i will not be doing live tem's. i might actualy start some kind of prerecorded show with non riaa music so we can pod cast it too. so the job is pretty good, just lots of travel looks like. full beni's. anything i miss? |
