So then
I've spent a fair amount of time cleaning things up around. Not a whole lot, really, but 10 minutes a day is much more than I had previously been doing.

So I cleaned off the mantle on my fireplace (which does not work) and put some pictures and keepsakes on it. Then I ran a mile and a half.

I haven't been seeing a whole lot of people, though.

I guess I don't feel like I'm up to writing what I feel about this. He was an author whose work I enjoyed. I don't think I would feel the same way if, say, Michael Chabon kicked the bucket.

P.G. Wodehouse novels are crap
At least the one I'm reading right now is crap. I should not be looking forward so much to reading a book of essays when I'm currently reading a lighthearted romp involving various ne'erdowells in the english countryside but there you have it, that's what I'm doing

My dog puked on the open pages of my copy of Code Complete and I'm just letting it sit there

I've taken to yelling "HOOOND" rather than calling my wiener dog by his proper name

So I've quit drinking
Now I'm back to being self conscious and looking for smartass remarks to make, however long that lasts

I've also put together a crude pallet for my mattress to lay on, and I want to figure out an appropriate project for learning forth

At the moment I'm not seeing anything more appropriate than lego mindstorms

But I should finish (resume work on) my axis and allies program first
