I didn't realize this before, but I'm going to be in Paris for the end of the Tour de France, which is SUnday. Fun fun. I'll try to get some pictures if I can navigate the mob.

I'm in Lisbon. Unfortunately our hotel isn't very well located. Have to take a cab everywhere. Had a snafu getting down town. Looks like all three cabs we took dropped us off at different locations. Never met up. Had diner at the Hard Rock Cafe. Nor to expensive for all the food we got. However the three other people wanted to come back to the hotel after dinner. Don;t know where the rest of the crew went so I didn't try to stick around as I couldn't afford the cab fare by myself. Ah well.
Beautiful day here. I'm looking forward to our tour of the city tomorrow morning.

Oh and should you ever find yourself in Lisbon, a surprising amount of people speak English here. Second note, by comparison, Portuguese women are way hotter that most of the Spanish women I've seen.
Wish I remembered my transfer cable for my digital camera. Took some pictures at a really cool set of Roman ruins in Medira, Spain on our way to Lisbon.

Yes, I did just say "I like small furry woodland creatures playing in my pants when I play the mandolin." Why I didn't say it in Spanish, no idea, sounded better in French.

I'm packed up and ready to fly. I have been alerted to the presence of an internet cafe close to my dorm room, so I should pop in every few days. Maybe more often if I can find a place to leech some wi-fi.

My dad bought me a Canon Powershot SD750 as an early birthday present. Gotta run over to Circuit City and pick it up. Also picked up a 4gig sdhc memory card for $24 from their online store.
Yay stuff. I love my old canon Pro90IS, but damn that thing is heavy. I picked up one of the Digital Rebel XTi's the other day and was floored by how light weight it was in comparison to my Pro90. I mean I could honesly be comfortable carrying the thing around my neck unlike the 90 where i'd get sore after about half an hour.

Three more days and then I'm off to europe!

God, I'm so ready for my trip. This video just ramped up my anticipation to 11.
