Sinclair: Please Run the Anti-Kerry Film!
I don't care how unflattering and ridiculous the ancient charges and amateurish editing of this purported fuck-umentary are, there is no reason why these frothing-at-the-mouth conservatives should not air this absurd piece of "work" on Kerry as far and wide as they like. If Bubba in Podunk wants to vote for Bush after watching this CRAP and was leaning toward Kerry before, LET HIM VOTE FOR BUSH. I do not want the vote of the stupid American for my side.
Discouraging the film, as the Democratic Party is officially doing, only gives the Right more fodder to scream foul. I think Kerry is correct to ignore the ridiculous manipulation of his quotes, such as the "nuisance" of terrorism reference. Sure, the Dems were supposed to counter every accusation in this campaign, but why stoop to asinine rhetoric by wasting time and giving schoolyard bullying the dignity of a response?
Besides, I think the more garbage the conservatives are allowed to spew, the less they can bitch about the "liberal media" which this is proof against. I certainly don't want anyone discouraging the witnesses of Fahrenheit 9-11.
Of course we liberals could always boycott any products who dare to advertise during the showing of this sliced propaganda.
