Mixel was sick about 20 times the other night. It was pretty nasty. For a while I was really worried because he couldn't even keep water down, so I gave him some Lucozade (not sure why) and rang NHS Direct. NHS Direct said "DON'T GIVE HIM LUCOZADE. IF YOU GIVE HIM LUCOZADE HE WILL DIE!!!".
The only thing he could keep down was Calippo ice lollies. So I went out in the middle of a very cold and icy evening and bought a bunch of Calippos. People in the shop must have thought I was completely mad.
Anyway, the happy ending is that Mixel did not die. In fact he was well enough today to play World of Warcraft for 6 hours straight.
I recommend NHS Direct, and I do not recommend Lucozade. Thu, Jan. 4th, 2007, 02:40 pm connecting with my inner cello
On the twelfth day of Christmas, batkat sent to me... Twelve lecabinets drumming Eleven fionacampbells writing Ten glitterroses a-knitting Nine mixelmagics baking Eight lordalfredhenrys a-sewing Seven mrstoats a-stargazing Six storms a-lurking Five ca-a-a-ats Four small things Three learning things Two silly clothes ...and a tea in a thewingedteapot. aaaand In 2007, batkat resolves to... Give some storms to charity. Connect with my inner cello. Go sewing three times a week. Backup my tea regularly. Spend less time on spooky_chan. Cut down on my knitting. 29. When faced with danger, the octopus can wrap six of its legs around its head to disguise itself as a fallen coconut shell and escape by walking backwards on the other two legs, scientists discovered. .. or so it says here. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/4566526.stmToday I fell asleep at work. Then I had to go get sandwiches for everyone but me. They sent me to a shop full of shiny meat and aggressive old ladies and a light which went "bzzzzzzzzzzzzz". I thought "this is what hell must be like". Then I bought a flapjack. It was a good day. Wed, Sep. 6th, 2006, 08:00 pm
My kitten keeps biting me and it really really hurts.
I am living in fear of a kitten. This is a new low for me, and that is saying something. Wed, Sep. 6th, 2006, 12:52 am snaaaaaaaaake it's a snaaake
Yesterday was my wedding anniversary. Michael took me to a restaurant which mostly served chicken, even though we are both vegetarians. I had a veggie burger which was actually really nice. (Tasted like chicken).
Then we saw Snakes on a Plane, which I thought was really scary. I am a bit rubbish. When I came home I smelled of chicken from the chicken restaurant, and I got nibbled by cats.
I am now scared to go to sleep, in case I have snake-related nightmares. Wed, Mar. 15th, 2006, 09:09 pm
Aaarghh.. I am actually watching a programme entitled "Fat Pets". It's about fat pets. Time for bed, methinks.

I knew his name, but I had no idea who he was, so I just naturally assumed he was some sort of bathtub vampire." best thing ever. Wed, Feb. 1st, 2006, 06:59 pm how predictable :/
