Artist Marc Vallee Displayed his instalation 'Right Click and Save' at the monthly Anti-social club night.
Right Click and Save are a serise of images of young men collected from online personal sites. In the prcoess of right clicking and saving the found images, Marc is creating a new image on his hard-drive. This means the images we see in the show are marcs own images. I recently re-discovered some paintings I made early on in my BA. I found they have inspired me to create more.
I was interested in Japanese cartoon pornography. It portrayed images of rape, under aged sex, paedophilia and even bestiality. These images would be graphic scenes of sex, yet at the same time look cute.
It was the blurring of graphic and cute that attracted me. If made in any other media they would cause an outcry, but as cartoons they are cute and harmless….or are they?

Come one, Come all to the launch party for www.alexchristie.co.uk held at this months Anti-social in Trash Palace. There will be selection of my work on the second floor for all to see, along with live P.A.s from Neon: currently an emerging star from the New York club scene + muse to no-other than Larry Tee (Electroclash), He entertains with camp bitchy vocals and icecream van music. | Iranian embassy protest |

In Iran on the 19th of July 2005 two teenangers were publicy executed for the 'crime' of Homosexuality. In response to this a on the 21st of July a protest was formed outside the Irainan Embassy in London. The protest called for an end to these killings and for the improvement of Irans Human rights.
