Hello Internets!!! It's been awhile, eh? All of the Nothing Better guest comics have run over the summer - thanks again to everyone who helped with that - and of course I haven't had time to do the short story I was planning on posting. In fact I haven't made ANY comics since Charlotte was born. BUT - I do have chapter 13 written and am working on the page layouts. I'll have more comics soon.

Parenthood is going well. We've certainly had a few trying days but overall, Charlotte has been a terribly well-behaved baby. We never worry too much about taking her out with us because even when she *does* get fussy, it's not that bad, so we feel pretty lucky overall. And even though it's going well and we've only been parents for just shy of three months, I can already say it's the hardest thing I've had to do. But once she started smiling and interacting with us, and now "talking" and such, it's just so rewarding. HERE's a cute movie if you got a second (it might take a minute or two to load).

Part of the reason NB work has been slow going is that work at MCAD has been insane getting ready for the semester to start. Things are already starting to get back to normal so that will help. The big catch has been Cori's work on the next Brooke Shields book. HarperCollins threw things three weeks off schedule at the beginning and it's made everything more stressful for Cori. Her agent (who also just had a baby) had to get on their case and tell them to lay off and let Cori enjoy being a mom and not drive her crazy with a deadline. They were able to push things back a little. But she's still been having to work basically all afternoon and evening. She plays with Charlotte in the morning, works in the afternoon when bebe naps, and then works in the evening while I watch bebe. Should all be done by early October. We can't wait!
