So its only the first day and I am so obsessed witht he Olympics. The opening ceremony was remarkable 300 million dollars to produce it WOW! Now im watching womens fencing and I had no idea its electronic. This is the most facinating thing ever. makes me wish i went to soem ivy leaque prep school where fencing was an option. I can see the next 20 somethign days of mine will be filled with late nights and plenty of olympic watching. Did anyone else see the opening ceremonies?

2. The chef at a hotel in Switzerland lost a finger in a meat-cutting machine and submitted a claim to his insurance company. The company, expecting negligence, sent out one of its men to have a look for himself. He tried the machine and he also lost a finger. The chef's claim was approved.

3. A man who shoveled snow for an hour to clear a space for his car during a blizzard in Chicago returned with h is vehicle to find a woman had taken the space. Understandably, he shot her.

4.  After stopping for drinks at an illegal bar, a Zimbabwean bus driver found that the 20 mental patients he was supposed to be transporting from Harare to Bulawayo had escaped. Not wanting to admit his incompetence, the driver went to a nearby bus stop and offered everyone waiting there a free ride.  He then delivered the passengers to the mental hospital, telling the staff that the patients were very excitable and prone to bizarre fantasies. 
The deception wasn't discovered for 3 days.

5. An American teenager was in the hospital recovering from serious head wounds received from an oncoming train. When asked how he received the injuries, the lad told police that he was simply trying to see how close he could get his head to  a moving train before he was hit.

6. A man walked into a Louisiana Circle-K, put a $20 bill on the counter, and asked for change. When the clerk opened the cash drawer, the man pulled a gun and asked for all the cash in the register, which the clerk promptly provided. The man took the cash from the clerk and fled, leaving the $20 bill on the counter. The total amount of cash he got from the drawer: $15. (If someone points a gun at you and gives you money, is a crime committed?)

7. Seems an Arkansas guy wanted some beer pretty badly. He decided that he'd just throw a cinder block through a liquor store window, grab some booze, and run. So he lifted the cinder block and heaved it over his head at the window.  The cinder block bounced back and hit the would-be thief on the head, knocking him unconscious. The liquor store window was made of Plexiglas. The whole event was caught on videotape.

8. As a female shopper exited a New York convenience store, a man grabbed her purse and ran. The clerk called 911 immediately, and the woman was able to give them a detailed description of the snatcher.  Within minutes, the police apprehended the snatcher. They put him in the car and drove back to the store. The thief was then taken out of the car and told to stand there for a positive ID. To which he replied, 'Yes, officer, that's her.  That's the lady I stole the purse from.'

9. The Ann Arbor News crime column reported that a man walked into a Burger King in Ypsilanti , Michigan , at 5 a.m., flashed a gun, and demanded cash.
The clerk turned him down because he said he couldn't open the cash register without a food order. When the man ordered onion rings, the clerk said they weren't available for breakfast. The man, frustrated, walked away.

When a man attempted to siphon gasoline from a motor home parked on a Seattle Street , he got much more than he bargained for.  Police arrived at the scene to find a very sick man curled up next to a motor home near spilled sewage. A police spokesman said that the man admitted to trying to steal gasoline and plugged his siphon hose into the motor home's sewage tank by mistake and was overcome by sewer gas.
The owner of the vehicle declined to press charges, saying that it was the best laugh he'd ever had.

I just found out someone I dated in Highschool (and subsequently have not seen in 5 or 6 years) is now gay. Thats not the part that mankes me uneasy. Sexual orientation is a personal choice that i respect and have no issue with. Heres the part that makes me uneasy... While we were in highschool (a couple years after we dated) he was known to pick on and be mean to openly gay students. Im guessing now it was his way of dealing with his own emotions and feelings its just a weird concept for me.

 1. What movie have you seen the most times in the theater? How many times?
I saw both Titanic and Talledega Nights in theatres three time. Neither one was because they were so mindblowingly great but rather because different groups of friends went and i went with multiple groups.

2. What was the last movie you walked out of in the theater?
Scary movie 3, I had never seen one or two but got suckered into this and walked out about 30 mins in. I also walked out of Speed 2 and Waterworld.

3. What is the first movie you remember seeing in a theater?
The first movie I saw was BIG with my grandma! 

4. What is your favorite movie soundtrack?
Ha I could nevre in a million trillion years pick just one or even name my top 3 but i coudl list a few in no particular order. Hairspray, Grease, Breakfast Club, Forest Gump for sure!, ANY Christmas Movie, Chicago, ...
 
5. Have you ever dressed up as a movie character for Halloween? If so, who?
Not that I can think of, I was T.V. Character last year ( Double Dare Contestant) I want to be Sally From Nightmare before Christmas though so badly!

 You know how sometimes people on your friend's list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when are they working THERE? 1. I just graduated from UCF Grad school just have a few more hoops to jump through and I will have a masters in History.
2. I am currently in the middle of a pretty big Medical Ordeal, again if you want to know ask otherwise just know its serious but not likely life threatening.
3. I am smack dab in the middle of moving into a new (MUCH BIGGER) apartment/condo in Orlando.

11. Parents? Mom- Best friend likely the coolest woman you will ever meet. Pays the bills too. Step-Dad- very volitile relationship most of the time i dislike him sometimes i hate him. Dad-Hit by a drunk Driver 4 years ago spent 7 months in a coma still in a wheelchair. Step-mom-likely the closest thing to an angel I will ever meet she takes care of my dad like no one else ever could and didn't just run off with his money when he was hit.
12. Who are some of your closest friends? Chris-Plays in a band and is on tour alot but when he is home we hang out ALOT, works at outback which is my alltime favortie place to eat in ORlando. Cesar-Met him through my brother he has been there for me the last year and a half liek no one coudl imagine. Mary-Was my brothers girlfriend, it is incomprhendable how much we think alike. There are many more I would consider close but lets be honest this isn;t a post about my friends.

Who wants to tell me why I can never manage to keep up with posting? I am on the internet all day everyday and I alwasy have stuff to say but I never manage to post on LJ. I post everywhere else... Why is this so hard for me?

Ok so this is likely to sound very cryptic but it is intended to be. There is this girl, Ive never met her but I feel like I know her. I guess technically i met her a couple of years ago or rather I should say I became enlightened to her life. Anyways this isn't about my relationship with this girl but rather how much I admire her. 

Her beauty is her Strength.She is strong, so strong, yet she dosn't see it. I think she has wonderwoman moments where she sees her true strengths but they are fewer and farther between that she should have. Her strenght does not come from her triumphs but her hardships, her strength is not how she handles things day to day but how her triumphs over the past things she has endured. 

Her beauty is her Honesty. She is truthful, to a fault. But her beauty in honesty comes with her honesty within herself. It is easy to tell others what you think of them it is far harder to be an open book for others. Daily I turn on the computer and get a glimpse of her life, and dialy I am amazed by her ability to shed the common things people use to shroud themselfs. I am constanly amazed but how much she exposes. 

Her beauty is her Heart. She is loving. For a person that has been through so much and been hurt by so many she overcomes. She is not jaded, she does not use her love as leverage. From what I can see through typed word, she gives her love freely. It may have taken longer for her to find one to love that she would have imagined but once she found the one who deserves her love she loves completly. 

Her beauty if her Faith. She is faithful and has a personal relationship with her God. Her faith does not wavier. She does not concern herself with others views of her faith. She does not conceed to others debates of her faith. She also does not use her time defending her faith or trying to convert others. She is happy in her relationship with God and does not care that it is unique.

This girl will likely read this(as I post it in other locations as well) though I am not even sure she will know it is about her. As I said I don't know her personally but I know her well. I admire her more than I would feel comfertable telling a random girl I barely know. So this is how I tell her. Yes this is about you. Yes I admire you. You are strong and honest,loving and Faithful. I appreciate you. I learn from you often. I may not be brave enough to comment about it, or tell you one on one but I admire you!
