So our house is pretty fucking awesome right now, aside from the bumble-ass-bees. I even re-arranged my room because of this tree growth spurt. Now I have a sweet ass view when I am 'on the computer.'
Sadly, one of those things is still Joe's white trash truck bed on our front lawn.
Maybe the sweet tree will distract our fine upstanding neighbors.
Regardless, the new room setup is pretty sweet. Colbert approved.

YAYAYAY 100% on my Italy book review!! And a... "This is really a splendid review of Vreeland’s book on Artemisia. You did a nice job counter-balancing her sometimes overreaching feminist interpretation of the events." YAYAYAY!! My only problem was I wrote trail, instead of trial (for almost the entire paper), OMG DURR.
I also turned in an app. for some more scholarships, because money is sweet.
Ahhh Fridays.

So apparently they had secret faculty for the psych. dept. going around during the symposium who judged posters to give out the McKeachie Award, which I won!! No idea what it entitles, as I haven't got a letter. Getting it at the psych. honors banquet today. Sweet!!
All of the roommates are sick (aside from Arika), and I can feel it coming. Also feeling the ankle pains now. However, I am now done with 499, 479 completely, I've turned in my 242 10 pager and then have a final, I finished my 451 project (2 finals on the 26th), and I have my final physio. cumulative (AHHH) exam next Wednesday. April 27th seems so far, yet so close.
I am completely out of energy. Almost wish the banquet wasn't today because I'd really rather just go home and lay down.

The best thing I've read in a while:
I did not remind you that your papers were due tomorrow the last time we met. If you need until Wednesday to get them in, you won't be penalized. So the final due date for all projects will now be April 11.
I'm at 5ish/10 pages right now. Nancy, you are a goddess.
Psichi banquet awards are this Thursday. I already rsvp'd (even though I'm scheduled to work, hah), but for some reason it feels weird to go. I don't know, maybe I just need more psych. friends. I wish Ellen Koch would respond to my emails. Maybe when I have a question I should just email Dani from now on.
Sometimes (usually) I am such a wuss. I'm just now taking yoga in the fall because I found someone to take it with me. LAAAMMME.
In other news I finally put up Florence pictures.
Ahh... I'm ready to go back k!?
I've never looked so forward to a birthday. And not even because I can legally drink, more so about the semester being done that day.
Oh. And new best thing in the world. Water with peppermint. Helps my intense stomach problems. Plus it tastes awesome.

Today is the 39th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. It's also mine and Adam's 2 years of being all... in a relationship. I will celebrate by going to a 3 hour physiological class (while having intense stomach pains), coming home to write a 12.5 paper, finish my 451 presentation, finish the 5 page paper to go with it, maybe start my 10 pager (hah, right). Wheeeee I'm in intense physical pain!!

Secretary of State is purgatory. #29 on my PSY451 exam is hell (seriously, 20 pts for a short answer question, the only question I didn't know the answer to on the exam, what gives!?). No wait, hell is me spending my entire night writing essays for Italy, saving it after every word written, re-setting the computer, and finding it ALL GONE. Yep, that's hell.

I have no motivation or energy for anything but playing with my cats, and eating carrots with hummus. OH. I just threw the cat toy into the hummus. Is that some kind of sign?
The symposium went well.
Even if nobody came and saw it (aside from my BFF Amy)!! This one woman said to me 'I really appreciate what you're doing,' which made me feel good. It was also cool to see other peoples stuff. Someone give me a scholarship. Seriously. Something.
I'm going to do poorly this semester. I'm giving myself an A for effort in life, though not currently.

QUICK! Eastern students! Tell me the best classes you've taken at EMU, regardless of dept. Suggest good professors also. I need 1 more class for full time (or even 2 credits since I'm taking yoga or some shit). I'm taking history and systems, and cognitive processes, and drug use and abuse, so I think I need something light. Maybe CTAR 222, anyone wanna join?

Note to self: The Corner Brewery at night is not the place for reading. Eyes hurt after just a few minutes. Durrr. Also, watch Overdrawn at the Memory Bank at least 928347983 more times because it's hillllarious.
Finished Italy book and 2 pages into the report. I'm not too worried now (aside from it being due for me tomorrow), but I'm a bit unsure on what Delph wants. I've never written a history paper (mla? chicago? I DO APA!!), let alone a book review since... what elementary school? Hopefully he'll go easy on his psych/wmst students.
