As I type this, I am surrounded by people doing flower arrangements and speaking in various languages, which is muted from the fact I am listening to Mike Doughty on my iPod. Every now and them there is an old security guard making the rounds, he slows his step, absorbing all the different flower arrangements and passes the asian woman knitting a very flamboyant purple scarf.

Drove Bug up to Seabeck WA this weekend where he will be staying for a week volunteering at a deaf/blind camp...I am missing him a lot right now...trying to keep myself busy by doing stuff around the apt. but now that it's evening it's starting to get really hard.

Ok ok, I couldn't stand not posting a photo and writing a little something...Bug and I returned from a great weekend safe and sound...the weather was hot, but on our way home we were entertained by a great thunderstorm...watching a thunderstorm over the desert while the air smells of juniper and rain has to be one of the greatest things ever...even better when you are with someone you love!

This photo was taken down in central oregon at the fort rock museum on our last visit a month ago in which we had an amazing time...so we are going again this weekend in celebration of both my birthday and my mom's
